After lunch, Feng Mian returned back to the room. Even though her heart was still aching when she thought about the food's price, she pushed the thought to the bottom of her heart. It would be better if she no longer thought about the price of anything in this house if she wanted to stay sane.

Feng Mian didn't resume drawing. She waited for the sun to set before her hand began to move once again. The beautiful sunset only lasted a few minutes before it was gone, so she needed to be quick if she wished to capture the view.

'It's not finished yet…'

By the time the sun had set, Feng Mian only managed to cover up the basic shape. The coloring was not complete yet. She would need to wait until tomorrow before she could start painting again.

Her eyes landed on the paint by the side and the blank canvas.

Screw it. She should just start painting another one. It has been so long since the last time she could spend her time to draw, so she wanted to make another. Her brain racked up as she thought of an idea. Since sunset has several different shape of the sun, she could just make the variety.

With that, she began to paint the room again. This time, the shade was slightly different from one another.

Clank!

The sudden voice startled Feng Mian. Turning her head, she saw Zhang Liang standing near the door. He was only wearing a t-shirt and pants while his arm was crossed.

"You're back?"

"It's already past dinner time. Butler Lou tells me that you're too engrossed in painting, and he didn't want to disturb you."

"Oh," Feng Mian scratched her head with a bitter smile. It was never her intention to make them worried about her. She was just too engrossed in painting that she completely forgot about other things.

Zhang Liang walked to the first painting. It was nearly done, depicting the sunset as the sun was approaching close to the horizon. "I didn't know that you can draw this well. It seems you didn't just have the skill in designing."

"Didn't I write in my resume that I specialize in drawing?" Feng Mian tilted her head. She was pretty sure that she already included in her resume that she was capable of drawing.

Raising his head, Zhang Liang shook his head. "The resume you submitted back when you applied to be an intern didn't include your skill in oil and acrylic painting. All that's there is just your skill in digital design."

"But I…" Feng Mian opened her mouth then closed it again. Two years ago, she was still in university. For a moment, her eyes grew cold as she realized that that person must have intervened once more.

Really, just how much that person hated her to the point of making life so difficult.

Zhang Liang raised his hand and patted Feng Mian's head, interrupting her thoughts. "This room shall be your studio. I'll ask Butler Lou to have it arranged as you liked."

Feng Mian nodded. "For now, I want to keep the wall as it is because I want to finish my drawing. After I have finished, can I put some tables and chairs inside?"

"Sure. You're free to do as you wish here."

"That's great!"

"Now, it's better if we eat or Chef Lu is going to cry because the food turned cold."

"Alright," Feng Mian agreed. Chef Lu is the name of the chef in Zhang Liang's residence. She was already in middle age, but she worked very well. Her task was mainly to cook and so far, Feng Mian found it to be delicious.

Zhang Liang walked first with Feng Mian following behind him. Looking at the food on the table, Feng Mian internally steeled her heart. She would be eating three times a week. It would do her no good if her heart jumped every single time she stepped into the dining room.

The two of them ate quietly. In the first place, Feng Mian barely knew anything about Zhang Liang aside from what she had heard from the news. Because of that, she didn't want to intrude into his privacy by asking unnecessary questions.

Feng Mian returned back to their room and washed her body. Butler Lou had already prepared enough clothes for her. This time, the pajamas suited her body size perfectly.

"You look much better now," Zhang Liang commented as he entered the bedroom.

Feng Mian nodded. "Thanks to Butler Lou for preparing the right clothes. How did he find out my size?"

"I have the access to the data."

"Huh?" Feng Mian was stunned. It was then she recalled that at the party last year, the design department wanted to celebrate by making matching clothes. Because of that, they took the size of everyone in the department. Since she had been there for some time, she was also included.

Zhang Liang didn't elaborate because he noticed that Feng Mian had realized it herself.

"You should have some rest."

Feng Mian nodded. "President Zhang, is it fine if I also spend more time painting?"

Zhang Liang had heard from Butler Lou that Feng Mian longed to become an artist but she was unable to. Recalling her beautiful painting, Zhang Liang nodded. "Sure."

"Thank you!" Feng Mian beamed. She proceeded to head to the bed and placed a pillow right in the middle once more.

Seeing her action, Zhang Liang was amused. He didn't pay it any other attention as he headed to the bathroom.
