Park Sang-sik was currently working on ‘Flat Foot Striker’.

It’s popular these days, so the story is continuing, so when about three volumes were completed, it was brought to Jeon Sang-gil’s studio.

“Brother, can you take a look at this?”

When I put out a notebook, Park Sang-sik shows curiosity.

“What?”

Take notes, open them and read them slowly.

He reads the contents for a while, then closes the notebook and looks at me with his eyes wide open.

“Isn’t this a bit shocking?”

“okay?”

“The world is destroyed because of zombies… La, the setting that time repeats every day to prevent that is so novel.”

“There are a few stories in foreign countries that are time-loop films.”

Of course, it is only a few years later that time-loop movies become popular in earnest.

In addition, it is true that it is very fresh in the genre of comics. This is because it seemed like a story like this would have to be made in order to work in today’s Japan.

“This is a real shock. It repeats the same time period over and over again until the situation is corrected. Is this the content of the story about sending this to Japan?”

“uh.”

“After all, it’s a challenge to Japan, so you gave me some strength. It’s a different feeling from the stories you’ve written so far. You are really…”

You look at me like you’re looking at some kind of monster.

Then, soon, his expression darkened.

“By the way, would you be okay with this unusual zombie story?”

“How does your brother look?”

“Honestly, I don’t like topics like horror and destruction, but it has a fresh feel to it, so it’s really fun.”

“It should have been fun.”

“Hey, fun is the most important thing.”

Park Sang-sik nodded his head as if in agreement.

“It’s more difficult to organize these stories, can you help me?”

“Okay. What if it was organized?”

Then, with the help of Park Sang-sik, the story was put together.

I made a story in two parts.

The first is a short story that leaves a little aftertaste, and the second tells the story after that.

If you want only a short story, I plan to finish it first, and if you want a series, it’s a story that fits that.

The overall story of a large stem was roughly determined, and only a few stories were worked on.

After the storyline was worked on to some extent, I went home and delivered it to Seonhee again.

After reading the whole story, Seon-hee brightens her eyes.

“I like it, it’s fun. But what is a zombie?”

“A living corpse. Well, I’d love to have some books on this, but I can’t find much.”

“A little explanation.”

I gave Seon-hee a detailed explanation of the zombies. Even though I explained it in a slightly realistic feel, I didn’t blink.

Then, after listening to my explanation for a while, I try to make some sketches.

“Like this?”

“Well, it just feels like a ghost. The feeling that the body is alive. This is how it moves.”

As I mimic the zombie-specific movements and screams, I watch myself carefully.

Oh, this. something is ignorant

“You know this, right?”

“little bit more.”

“Ah Okay.”

Weird movements and screams once more.

I still stare intently at it.

I also can’t keep doing this.

“Are you okay?”

“once······.”

“No!”

“…Okay.”

What a disappointment that guy is.

Hopefully, you’re not kidding me.

Anyway, Seon-hee seems to be drawing another picture soon.

A pretty terrifying picture has been completed.

It’s so real that it’s terrifying.

It’s not bad when I was living there, but I think there’s a bit of a sense of incongruity in this era.

“It’s so real, people will be afraid. It’s a little cartoonish.”

Draw the picture again and show it to me.

This time, it looks moderately terrifying, yet realistic.

“Oh, this looks pretty good.”

Even if it looks good, it is a reality that is hard to accept by today’s Korean standards.

In Japan, manga like this would be acceptable.

Even in 1984, Japan’s juvenile magazines were very open, and violence and sexual depictions were possible. Rather, this period was more open than 2018.(Read more @ wuxiax.com)

Because ‘The Duke of the Duke’, the first of the exorcisms, has been serialized since 1986 and has been incredibly popular.

However, although it was serialized in ‘Young Jump’, which is a semi-sung character.

“Approximately, I think I can draw like that and start drawing.”

“Okay.”

After I handed the rough storyline to Seon-hee, I started drawing on the manuscript.

However, the character is still unstable due to lack of experience. If so, you can compensate for the weakness with something else.

It’s the age where I’ve seen countless cartoons.

I used to draw cartoons when I was a kid, and I dig a lot into composition and directing.

I have the confidence to create at least the level of directing ability of Japanese manga from the early 80s. Although she lacks drawing skills, that is a problem that Seon-hee will solve.

Feeling like a director, I taught Seon-hee about directing by explaining scenes and scenes.

“Japanese comics are viewed in the opposite direction from ours. So, the character has to move according to the flow of watching the manga. In this scene, looking this way, in the next scene like this, and in the next scene like this again.”

With a pencil on the paper, the direction of gaze processing was indicated one by one.

Then Seon-hee nodded her head without saying a word and began to draw as instructed.

However, since it is a level of directing that I have never seen before, it seems like it is not easy, so it seems to be struggling quite a bit.

“No, that’s not it. This scene is different from before. There was a similar scene in Akira. Come on.”

Saying that, he pulls out Akira’s comic book and compares the scenes similar to those drawn by Seon-hee.

In fact, at one time, Akira was a manga that many Korean cartoonists used as a textbook. Because of that, I also saw Akira countless times when I was immersed in painting.

As a result, some scenes were quite eye-catching.

Anyway, after comparing it with that, I erased all the pictures to see if Seon-hee understood it and started drawing again.

After hanging like that for hours, now I have a sore throat.

Even though I am just giving instructions, Seon-hee is silently drawing and erasing while listening to my nagging.

Behind this child’s natural talent for drawing, there was such a virulence.

“Let’s rest a little.”

I said that and went down to the room and lay flat on my back.

After a while, I went up again, and even then, Seon-hee erased and repeated the scene I was talking about several times, and in the end, she was drawing the picture closest to the feeling I was talking about.

Is there no pain of boredom or hardship in the first place?

Looking at Seon-hee like that while lying down, she stuck out her tongue.

“Awesome. amazing.”

“Hey, I have to.”

“huh.”

“Don’t just do it with your mouth, give your nose strength and boo!”

“huh!”

“Right.”

Sung Joon-hee wipes the runny nose of a young child. And rubbing her child’s cheeks with both hands, sulking.

“Hey, our pretty Junmo.”

She kisses the child at eye level and she smiles.

Then someone shouted at her.

“uh? Brown haired sister!”

“···········?”

Surprised, Sung Joon-hee squatted down and turned around.

She then sees who she called her and she is startled.

“······uh? Yunhwan’s younger brother…?”

“Yes, I am Kyunghee. you’ve seen it before This is Seonhee. Isn’t it hard to tell them apart because we look alike?”

If you keep your mouth shut, you wouldn’t know, but if you talk like that, of course, it’s easy to tell them apart.

Anyway, when Kyung-hee sees a little boy with Sung Joon-hee, she has a strange expression on her face.

“····················This boy over there.”

“It’s my brother. Late lad, 4 years old.”

“Ah.”

After all, she almost asked if it was her son. At first glance, it looks like a really friendly hat.

Anyway, I’m glad I don’t have a son.

“I have to take care of my brother like this during the day.”

“Aww, it’s because she resembles her older sister. He is very handsome.”

As if the child is hiding her face, she clings to Sung Joon-hee’s legs and hides her body. Seong Joon-hee held such a child and he said to Kyung-hee.

“But what’s going on here?”

“To a foreign bookstore near here.”

“Foreign bookstore?”

“Huh. The eldest son who his brother taught him. Because there is a book that Seon-hee needs. We came together like this. It’s not like I’m getting pocket money.”

And then she smirks and laughs.

“By the way, is your sister’s house near here?”

“Yeah, there.”

It is a single-story building with an old slat roof that you can see near the entrance to the alley.

“Would you like to stop by my house? Because no one is home now.”

“Is that okay?”

“then. Would you like me to cook ramen?”

“No, I’ll buy you something delicious.”

“I will buy it.”

“Uh, will you?”

Seonhee nodded her head and immediately walked alone to the nearby hole shop. Kyung-hee, who was looking at Seon-hee’s back, immediately turned around and she looked at the child Seong-jun-hee was holding, she asked.

“What is your name?”

“It’s Junmo. Sung Joon-mo.”

When Sung Joon-hee speaks to Kyung-hee, he taps the floor of her hands and spreads her arms out wide.

“Now, would you like to give this sister a hug?”

However, the child clings to Sung Joon-hee and does not want to fall.

“Sorry, he’s very shy.”

“It’s because he’s not yet recognizing a beauty.”

“Yeah, right.”

Seong Joon-hee swears by her and guides her to her house.

As we enter through the old iron gate, which is rusted in, we see a single-story building that has not been painted properly.

It is a type of house where only two families live.

Open the wooden door near the main gate and enter.

“Isn’t the house shabby?”

“Well, our house is similar, so what?”

The house is neatly organized, but the living conditions are poor.

She always thought she was the poor, but this house is a bit more popular.

Second to the small room, more than half of the wallpaper has fallen off, leaving the cement wall exposed.

The TV is old enough to doubt whether it will turn on or not, and so are the other stuff.

I even bought expensive hamburgers, so I thought she was a well-to-do older sister. Looking at her house, it seems that she was wrong.

She is so sorry for the hamburger she ate then.

“Come over here and sit down. It is the warmest here.”

Sung Joon-hee lifts the faux mink quilt lying on the floor and touches the floor, she says.

“I’m fine. Her older sister and Junmo sit. But what about other families?”

“Oh, my mom works in a restaurant downtown. She will be back in the evening.”

Seeing that her father doesn’t talk, it’s kind of hard to ask.

Because Kyung Hee’s father passed away.

“Sleep, Junmo. Would you like to come see my beautiful sister? Come on, this.”

After rummaging through her bag, she pulled out one of her candy and handed it to the child. Then, the young child, who was still attached to Sung Joon-hee, immediately showed curiosity, and she approached Kyung-hee.

“Wow, I got it. our junior.”

Suddenly, Kyung-hee runs over her child and hugs her. She is bubbly and she likes it.

So, while she is playing with the child, Seon-hee comes in from outside her.

The door was wide open, so he came in quickly.

A large bag is in Seon-hee’s hand.
