2 Years Of Restarting

Yu Yan placed her phone on the table, still feeling aggrieved and annoyed. Her so called family would rather coerce her to give up on something that belonged to her even though the one at fault was her sister.

How laughable.

Just as she wanted to head to the bathroom to wash her face, a pair of strong arms circled her body and held her in warm yet tight embrace. Yu Yan was startled as she felt the reassuring warmth from behind her.

"Long Ying?"

"Don't be sad. You have me."

Yu Yan felt her mind blanked for a moment. She knew that he must have listened to what she conversed with her parents, yet he didn't disturb her when she received the call. He waited patiently and kept her safe in his arms.

Her eyes watered as her body instinctively leaned in closer to his embrace. She felt much safer with him rather than when she was with her supposed family or any other people. Even though he didn't say anything else, she felt as if he would always accompany her no matter what.

His strong arms continued to assure her as he pulled her closer too. The sweet scent felt enthralling and Long Ying sighed internally. He had to learn how to control himself better.

In the past, he had no problem controlling himself because he had no desire for those women. But now that the woman in his arms is her… he felt that his control was weakening.

"Thank…"

Before Yu Yan could finish her words, Long Ying turned her body around. His action startled her, nearly causing her to yelp.

Long Ying stared at Yu Yan, his silver eyes were looking at the woman in his arms with adoration. "Didn't I tell you not to be too polite with me? You're my wife and I'm your husband, so we're family and between family, there's no need to be so polite."

"Y..Yes." This new status between her and Long Ying still felt strange for Yu Yan. She looked at her husband in front of her as heat started to rush on her cheek. No matter what, she still felt embarrassed being held so close to him like this.

"Drink this and let's go to sleep afterwards." Long Ying placed Yu Yan on the bed before he picked the glass of strawberry milk that he put on the table and passed it to Yu Yan.

Yu Yan's eyes lit up slightly when she saw the glass. No matter what occasion, her favorite drink has always been strawberry milk, so she reached up and held the glass. It was warm as if Long Ying had purposely boiled the water first before giving to her so that she could sleep well.

"Do you want some?" Yu Yan asked as she looked at Long Ying.

Long Ying, who was taking his clothes to take a bath, arched his eyebrows. "No need."

"Okay."

Without asking anything else, Yu Yan drank the strawberry milk happily. She knew that Long Ying occasionally drank milk too in the past when they were still in High School. She didn't know whether he still retained this habit or not, though.

After finishing the milk, Yu Yan put the glass in the kitchen then returned back to the bedroom. It was good that she had memorized the route to the dining room and kitchen early in the morning or she might risk herself getting lost in her own home.

'This mansion is really big.'

Yu Yan moved to the bed and silently lied down. It didn't take long for Long Ying to finish and lied next to her. Just as she thought that they would just sleep side by side, Long Ying's arm suddenly moved to her waist as he pulled her to face him.

"Long Ying?" Yu Yan was stunned and nearly stuttered in her speech.

"I want to cuddle you."

"But…"

"I won't do anything more. Sleep." Long Ying still could see the bruise on Yu Yan's face after the makeup was washed off. Even though it was no longer as visible as yesterday, he knew that she was still hurting because of that scum.

His eyes glinted at the thought of that b*stard hurting his woman. If not because Yu Yan wanted to deal with him by herself, he would not have hold back and choose to order his men to kidnap him and make his life a living hell.

As for Bao Family?

He was not afraid of them at all.

"En."

Yu Yan snuggled closer to Long Ying's embrace and felt he stiffened for a moment. She nearly wanted to giggle but felt that she shouldn't be playing with fire and closed her eyes.

Even though she was angry at her father and mother just now, staying with Long Ying gave her ease of mind.. She felt really glad that she met with him again after all these years.
