2 Years Of Restarting

Yu Yan didn't even bother waiting for Kang Mao Yao to recover and left the scene. She knew that no matter what she said, Kang Mao Yao would never try to reflect. In the end, what she would do was only complaining to her husband and to Kang Mao Lan.

As for her being an elder, it was the truth.

Kang Mao Yao was a party addict. She would do whatever it was possible to hold more parties. Squandering money and then head to more parties, talking with other people who held similar interest, almost everyone in the middle and partially upper society knew her habit.

After all, she was present in almost all type of parties.

As for her daughter and her husband… they were rarely seen in any kind of occasion.

By the time Kang Mao Yao came to, she realized that Yu Yan had walked far away and there was a man following behind her. The man had long hair and looked quite suspicious but Kang Mao Yao didn't recognize him in the slightest bit.

"Who's he?"

Kang Mao Yao wanted to ask Yu Yan but she knew that she had lost her chance. Besides, talking with that rude and annoying woman tested her patience. She felt as if her body was already drained of energy from dealing with just one annoying niece.

Even partying for an entire day never felt this tiring.

She picked up her phone and called Kang Mao Lan, determined to transfer all of her frustration to her younger sister. Hmph, she would see what that Yu Yan would do when her mother was the one to take action.

Meanwhile, Yu Yan and Long Ying had arrived at the car.

"Let's go."

Long Ying followed his wife obediently and didn't even spare another glance at that Kang Mao Yao woman. When they entered the car, he pulled Yu Yan to his embrace and lightly patted her back tenderly.

"You must be tired. Shall we rest in a place nearby?"

"Do you have house here?" Yu Yan asked.

Towards that question, Long Ying didn't immediately answer. He patted Yu Yan's head. "We can book a hotel here. I have discount card for hotel from Zhang Enterprise."

Zhang Enterprise?

It took Yu Yan a few more seconds to recall that her best friend, Feng Mian's husband, had a brother who owned Zhang Enterprise. He had several hotels under his name and all of them were high ends hotel, which usually only those from upper society could ever reserve.

Just a night there would cost several thousands of yuan.

"Isn't that too expensive?" Yu Yan furrowed her brows.

"Not at all." Long Ying pondered for a while. "Besides, we're going to visit Kang Family lawyer tomorrow, right? It'll take too long if we have to return back to City F then return back City A."

That's true too.

Yu Yan looked at Long Ying for a moment then nodded in agreement. She actually still wanted to ask him whether he had house in this city or not but for some reason, the word didn't want to come out. In the end, she could only agree to his notion.

An Lin drove the car to the nearby hotel and Yu Yan walked out of the car. Seeing the luxurious hotel, she felt a bit overwhelmed for some reasons. This made her a bit hesitant to come inside because she felt that she was not dressed for this kind of occasion.

"What is it, Yan'er?"

"Long Ying, I…"

"HMm?" Long Ying peered closer, his face just a few centimeters away from Yu Yan. The uneasiness within her eyes was visible to him.

Yu Yan blushed and tried to pull away. "Y…You're too close."

"We're husband and wife, why can't I get close to you?"
