2 Years Of Restarting

The men around them were looking at the two guests with confusion. This was the first time they saw Long Ying so amiable. Also, it seemed that the two pairs knew each other?

"Let's move," Zhang Liang said when he saw the discomfort. "I don't think the two of them can speak comfortably in this place."

Long Ying shot a glance to his men and waved his hand. He stood up lazily. "We're going for a walk. Don't follow me."

"Yes!"

Even if they were confused, no one dared to refuse Long Ying. They quickly backed away, afraid of offending their boss. After all, they knew that their boss was quite eccentric at times.

Yu Yan noticed that Lan Huo was also standing by the side and ordered the others to not interfere. It seemed that he also understood that Long Ying would not want anyone to follow him around.

Feng Mian looked at Yu Yan as she hesitated. "Want to go to my place?"

"Sure," Yu Yan glanced at Long Ying. "Do you mind?"

"Not at all."

With that, the two of them walked out of the bar and walked in the direction of Feng Mian's house. Long Ying was looking at his surroundings with a frown. He disliked light, yet he still followed them as they walked to Feng Mian's small room. 

Yu Yan noticed that his silver eyes seemed to glitter for a moment when he made contact to the light. Probably, he had long gotten used to wear the glasses that the light made him comfortable.

She silently reached out her hand to grab his. Long Ying was surprised but he grabbed her hand back. With that, the two of them walked while holding hands.

On their journey, no one spoke at all.

"The place is a bit small, but please make yourself comfortable," Feng Mian said when they have arrived.

Zhang Liang glanced to their hands and arched his eyebrows. As he had thought, these two were really annoying. He really wished that he could kick their *sses and just sent them far away from him.

'I need to be patience.'

Long Ying waved his hand. "You two can have your girl talk. I need to speak with this man."

"Ok."

Both Feng Mian and Yu Yan headed to Feng Mian's bedroom. Looking at her friend, who seemed to be so different than before, Feng Mian was confused. What made Yu Yan change?

"Hey, Mian'er, do I look that strange?" Yu Yan asked. She dressed up nicely, but she exuded a different aura than before. It was as if there was a tigress ready to pounce anything around her.

Feng Mian giggled. "No, but I can hardly recognize your demeanor. Still, you'll always be Yan'er."

"Hehe, thanks."

The two women smiled. No matter how much the other party's change and all, they would not care. They would continue to befriend each other and stayed close as much as possible.

"So, tell me a bit of your journey?"

Yu Yan nodded. "Well, it's a bit embarrassing, but I met with Long Ying when I come to the bar. He could be easily recognized with his feature, so I decided to take the chance and talked to him. Surprisingly, he agreed to my request and for around a week, I have been staying in the Dragon Clan's base."

Feng Mian was stunned at the simplified story that Yu Yan told her. Looking at her best friend's expression, she was sure that there must be a lot of things that happened during her stay in the bar and the past week. After all, she could also see that the so called Long Ying's woman was no other than Yu Yan.

"In short, you dated him?"

"Well, you can say so," Yu Yan replied awkwardly. They were actually married to each other…. Right, should she reveal the trick of how Zhang Liang made Feng Mian signed that marriage form before? But looking at how innocent Feng Mian was, she didn't feel like telling the other party.

Anyway, she better answered the question first.

"Long Ying… was my old classmates. I don't know that they're the same person because I thought that they're just have similar name. However, the more I spend time with him, the more I realize that they're the same person."

"He's your secret cru…"

"Ssh! He can hear your voice."

Feng Mian's eyes widened as she turned her head to the back. Right, Zhang Liang had told her that martial arts enhanced one's sense. Her room was not exactly sound proof, so it was possible that the two men could hear them.

She smiled. "At least, you're not afraid of loving again."

Yu Yan nodded. She picked up Feng Mian's pillow and hugged it tightly. "Love always starts with a courage because when you loving someone, you open up your heart and let other people to enter. It was putting yourself in vulnerable state yet at the same time, it's beautiful because you'll always be together, sharing your ups and down, be it in difficulties or happiness."

"Courage alone is not enough," Feng Mian replied. "You need determination, dedication and also devotion to continue staying with your partner until the rest of your life."

The two women looked at one another and laughed. Feng Mian's first experience was filled with ups and down almost immediately. It was challenging her to enter a completely different world while at the same time, taking him to enter her world too.

Yu Yan had already experienced two failed relationships due to her family. Yet, she was not discouraged and bravely opened up her heart once more.

"I hope you can have your happiness this time," Feng Mian said.

Yu Yan grinned. "Three is my lucky number, so I don't believe that I can't make it to the end this time."

"If you need something, you still can call me."

"I'll say the same to you."

The two women stared at one another and laughed heartily. No matter what, they would support each other.. That was their promises in their heart.
