2 Years Of Restarting

"Sister in law?" San Xia called out when she saw Yu Yan. "Why do you come here? Don't tell me that you miss my training."

"I still have my usual training." Yu Yan smiled bitterly. She pointed to the real estate agency before her. "This… is this really what I'm thinking about?"

"Oh." San Xia giggled. "It's Boss's idea. Isn't it good?"

"Are there no one who find it suspicious?"

"Do you think that we're engaged in completely illegal activities?" San Xia was always amused by how Yu Yan perceived those who worked in the underworld. Did she really think that they were people who knew nothing but to fight? This was a modern world and obviously they had to learn how to blend in the society better.

Yu Yan looked at San Xia and smiled sheepishly.

"Don't worry that you're not the only person who ever thinks that way. But unfortunately, the days when we can totally wreck the street without caring for the authorities is already long over. Don't worry, the gang fights are still as interesting as ever."

"…I'll pass."

An Luo and San Xia joined them as they entered the real estate agency. The people inside obviously recognized them because they treated Long Ying and the others respectfully. However, the way they acted would make one see that they clearly draw a line and tried to act as normal as possible.

"The real office is at the back." Long Ying walked to the back and paid no heed to the people there who stare at his wife. This was the first time Long Ying brought his wife to the headquarter at the capital city, so naturally these people were interested in her. 

"That's Boss's woman?"

"I heard that he got married in City F."

"Wrong! He's married in the Capital City but he met her in City F!"

"Ptui, how can you spread false news like that? It's obvious that Boss married her in City A and City F is only the place where they met each other for the first time!"

"Bullsh*t! It's not what I hear,…"

Yu Yan's lips twitched as she heard the various versions of story that these people concocted. She seriously wondered what did Long Ying tell them previously to make them gossips so much.

Long Ying furrowed his brows. "Who said that?"

The men suddenly stopped talking. They looked at Long Ying and began to quip like birds.

"Boss, it was An Lin who tells us the news!"

"Yes, An Lin said that there's a woman that smitten Boss so much that he couldn't go out of City F."

"An Lin also says that Boss met her for the first time in City F and then brought her to City A to register your marriage."

"Yes, An Lin…."

In but a moment, An Lin had become the scapegoat of these men. Yu Yan was speechless at how quickly they sold out their brother while Lan Huo was already laughing so hard at their back. 

Long Ying looked at An Luo. "is that true?"

An Luo blinked his eyes then nodded frantically. "Of course it's true, Boss. Only An Lin would dare to spread news like this."

Now, Yu Yan was becoming even more speechless. Why did she feel as if An Lin's position was extremely low in the clan to the point that everyone decided to make him the scapegoat whenever something happened?

"Boss, I'm back!" An Lin opened the door right at this time but paused in his steps when he saw everyone was looking in his direction. All of the sudden, he felt an ominous feeling crept on his back.

Did they stir up problem for him again?

"Boss, An Lin's back."

"An Lin, Boss is asking who spread news regarding him eloping with a woman in City F."

"Yes, you're the one who told us that Boss is falling head over heels over a beautiful chick in City F so he will not return back to work!"

"An Lin, don't forget to reveal the rest of the juicy story regarding how Boss met Sister in law!"

An Lin's lips twitch so badly. These hooligans!

He looked at Long Ying and saw that his Boss was staring back at him with a dark expression. "Boss! That's not true! I will never spread fake news about you! Don't listen to them!"

"So you're saying that it's a lie that I got married?" Long Ying asked in lazy tone.

An Lin nearly cursed when he heard Long Ying's words. Why in the world it became the main point, ah?

"An Lin, don't lie, you're the one who spread the news."

"Yes, yes, you're even saying that you'll tell us more after you returned back to work as Boss's right hand. Don't you always want to return back to the mansion?"

"This is your chance to appeal to Boss, An Lin."

"You  %^&*(!"

Long Ying watched expressionlessly as his subordinates got into a brawl. In fact, it was extremely common for them to get engaged in fight, which was why this office was purposely made to be soundproof. He waved his hand. "Tell An Lin to do push up 50 times when he finish the brawl."

"Yes, Boss!"

"Boss, that's not fair!"

"Wahahaa, you deserve it, Scrooge!"

"Gee!"

An Luo pretended he didn't see anything as he followed Long Ying and Yu Yan to the room at the back. San Xia was still clutching onto his arms lazily and didn't seem to be interested in the scene. Though, the corner of her lips curled up to form an amused smile.

The room was like a study room because it was filled with books. There was a table and chair at the front, making it look like a boss's room.

"Is it fine to let your younger brother in law get in fight?" Yu Yan asked while looked at San Xia.

San Xia shrugged. "It's his fault for winning the tournament early this year."

"Tournament?"

"Yeah, there's internal combat tournament each year and the one who can get the first place will have a chance to follow Boss everywhere. Naturally, everyone is jealous because An Lin won the fight early this year."

Yu Yan was astonished. She knew that those who could get close to Long Ying must have been good at fighting, but she didn't expect that the usually amicable An Lin was also that good.

"He's that good?"

"Of course, he's still worse than my husband." San Xia pointed her chin up, showing just how proud she was.

"No one can beat Ying for sure," Yu Yan added seriously. In her eyes, the best fighter in Dragon Clan must be her husband.

San Xia rolled her eyes. "That's obvious… that eyes of his is….." 

By the end of her sentence, her voice turned incoherent, making it impossible for Yu Yan to know what she was thinking. She arched her eyebrows, wondering just what San Xia was talking about.

"What is it?"

"I'll wait for Boss to tell you." San Xia quickly shook her head. What a joke, Long Ying was not one to care for the fairer gender. If she dared to step out of the line and got punished, not even her husband can save her.

"You can sit here, Yan'er." Long Ying felt that his subordinates truly needed to learn how to shut their mouth. Even though he was not exactly angry at how they spread the news, he was speechless by how much they spin the story.

If they want to spread it, at least, got it correct!

Yu Yan looked at the place Long Ying pointed at, the sofa where one could wait. She nodded and sat down while glancing at the row of books beside her. Let's see what Long Ying usually read.

'Business books, real estate agency related books, is that about trade as well?'

The door opened and An Lin scrambled inside. "Boss, before talking about my punishment, it's already time for the trap."

"Trap?" Yu Yan asked.

An Lin glanced at Long Ying and only after he got the confirmation that it was fine to tell Yu Yan did he continue to speak. "There are some people who dares to sell drugs in Dragon Clan's territory, so naturally it's our task to make sure that they stop and properly serve their punishment in jail."

Yu Yan: "…" isn't that police officer's job?

But she also knew that Long Ying detested those who sell drugs, so it might be related to why he wanted to catch them by himself.

"We're setting up a trap to dig deeper and to figure out their route. Boss, is there anything more we need to prepare for this?" An Lin asked as he pushed the door close. Some of the rowdy men were still pressing him to do the punishment of having push up.

Long Ying was about to shake his head when his eyes landed on his wife's eyes.. He arched his eyebrows. "Do you want to take a look?"
