Chapter 257 Ninety-nine Souls! The heart of David Jones!

At this moment, in the corner of a crowded small bar in Tortuga, Jack was sitting with his feet crossed.

Christopher is busy conscripting the ninety-nine souls that Jack needs most.

Jack drank a large glass of wine, but his ears were not idle.

Christopher’s promise to hopeful sailors that the Black Pearl will give them an unforgettable experience.

Of course, this is Tortuga after all, so everyone who comes to apply is a person who is depressed and vulnerable.

"I only have one arm and one broken leg," an old sailor told Christoph.

"The lookout is yours," Christopher replied.

After a few interviews, Christopher walked over to Jack.

"How is the situation?" Jack asked Christoph, looking up.

"Counting these four? Then we have four in total." Christopher sighed.

This number made him very worried, and he hurriedly added: "It's my bad luck."

Jack raised his eyebrows and said, "I never promise anything. He doesn't like promises."

"You'd better come up with a new plan, Jack, better don't count on it anymore. Everyone knows that since you lost the Feng Shui compass, your luck won't work."

Christoph returned to the pitiful recruitment team, and Jack had a gloomy face.

"What's your story?" Christopher asked the next sailor.

The man was drunk and had a shaggy beard, but his eyes were clear.

"My story." The person replied, "It's the same as your story, only a chapter slower."

"I wanted to catch a notorious pirate, and even sailed all over the seven seas to find him. For this, I lost my future and exhausted all the long hunts, which made me lose my crew, my position and my life. "

Christopher carefully identified the man in front of him. "Commodore?" he asked.

He suddenly recognized him. This man was Brigadier General Norrington-the man who chased Jack and the Black Pearl all the way.

"Not anymore." The former navy quasi replied, and he threw the bottle down. "How to say? Can I be your crew member on earth?"

Christopher didn't say a word, he was still surprised to see that the dignified Commodore turned into a rude pirate like himself.

This cold reception seemed to anger Norrington, and he roared: "Then am I qualified to serve Captain Jack Sparrow?"

After speaking, he turned and drew the pistol: "Or should I kill you now?"

He pointed his gun at Jack who was about to slip away at the other end of the room and said.

Jack froze suddenly, but he immediately squeezed a smiley face: "You have been hired as a man."

Norrington pulled the bolt back. "Sorry," he said, but he will still shoot. "Old habits are hard to change, nothing more."

"Be careful, soldier," a man said, grabbing Norrington's arm. "You are threatening our captain."

The gun went off, and the man quickly avoided and knocked over a table.

Jack's new crew jumped up and fought.

The pirates who longed for a lively night threw chairs and smashed wine bottles, joined the melee, and began to fight back.

"It's time to go." Jack nodded to Christopher.

"Yes."

Jack walked through the battlefield unscathed like a dance.

When he went out, he bent over and stood beside a stunned person and tried his hat on.

When he and Christopher walked to the back stairs of the tavern, he felt that the hat was too small.

While the battle was in full swing, Jack was thinking to himself that it was not easy to find a good hat this year.

Jack and Christopher slipped out quietly, Norrington was stayed, his back turned to a beam.

"Come here! Do you want British steel? You, you, and you?"

Just as he was yelling, a wine bottle suddenly hit his head heavily, knocking him down.

The person standing next to him in a sailor suit is Elizabeth. He shouted to the pirates: "I want to have the fun of doing this by myself. Now we throw this guy out and have a drink!"

The pirates cheered. They threw Norrington into the mud of the pigsty behind the tavern. Elizabeth suddenly recognized the man. She couldn't believe her own eyes.

Elizabeth immediately ran to the former Commodore, and he knelt down, very sympathetic to the poor man.

"James Norrington, what has the world done to you?"

"I deserved everything." When Elizabeth helped Norrington stand up, he replied.

They walked slowly towards the pier and went straight to Jack's boat, and Elizabeth called out, "Captain Sparrow."

Jack looked at her and didn't recognize her disguised as a sailor. "Young man, do you want to join my team? Very well, welcome on board."

"I'm here to find a man I love." Elizabeth confessed loudly.

Jack nodded, still unaware that he was talking to Elizabeth.

"I am deeply honored, young man, but the sea is my first and only love." Jack replied.

"I'm talking about William Turner, Captain Sparrow." Elizabeth said bluntly.

Elizabeth Jack stared at him alertly and said, "You know, this suit doesn't suit you at all."

"Jack." Elizabeth didn't change the subject. He said, "I know Will is looking for you. Where is he?"

"My dear, I really don't want to tell you the news, but after a series of unforeseen unfortunate events that have nothing to do with me, poor Will was captured by David Jones as a sailor."

"David Jones?" Elizabeth repeated, wondering if she should believe in this island.

"Oh, please." Norrington said mockingly: "The captain of the Flying Dutchman? The ship that transported the dead at sea from this world to the next?"

"That's right!" Jack said loudly.

Then he recognized Norrington and went on to say, "You look terrible, what are you doing here?"

"You hired me," he replied, "your standards are so low, I can't help it."

"Jack," Elizabeth said, "I just want to find Will."

Jack touched his black beard with beaded beads, and after a while, he said cautiously, "Are you sure? Is that what you want the most?"

"Of course." Elizabeth replied, and suddenly she saw a flash of light in Jack's eyes.

"Then I think you most want to find a way to save Will." Jack replied.

"And you have a way to save him?"

"That's it." Jack started, "...There is a treasure chest, and no one knows its size and storage location."

"It contains the beating heart of David Jones." Pantel interjected as he passed by the Black Pearl carrying a large barrel.

"Bang, bang." Rajetti added with a grin and patted own chest.

"The person who owns this treasure chest has the ability to order David Jones to do whatever he wants, including helping the brave William to escape his cruel fate." Jack quickly said, ignoring the pair of living treasures.
