A Father's Duty

Two men were brawling at the center of the space with the buildings turned into smithereens. Clouds of dust were everywhere. A man punched the white figure in front of him as he panted.

"Thats... 300 to 0, in favor of me." The man said in a mocking voice.

"I... I can still... fight for 100... no, 200... more rounds." said the white figure.

"I told you... even if we fight for hundreds of rounds... you can't win." The man replied with disdain.

The two fighting like idiots are Noctis and Hollow Noctis. They started fighting with swords but as the fight gets longer and longer, their stamina can't hold on to their swords anymore and chose the good old way of brawling. Pure offense and no defense.

"I... admit you're a strong man. Maybe having a master like you isn't bad." Said the hollow.

"So, you admit defeat?" Asked Noctis.

They were both panting while trying to regain every bit of stamina they can. Another ounce of stamina can result in victory or defeat of each other.

"I don't. I told you I could still fight for 200 more rounds." Hollow Noctis said as he steadily arranged his breathing.

"Just admit defeat. You still won't win even if we reached thousands of rounds." Noctis said as he steadied his breathing as well.

"Hah. Let's stop this banter. We both look like idiots." Said Hollow Noctis as Noctis raised his eyebrow.

"What? Turning sissy?" Noctis said in a mocking voice.

"No. We've been fighting for 3 days and 3 nights here. It should be the time for you to leave." Said Hollow Noctis.

Noctis then remembered that he should really go to the 8th biotope now and capture a GT robo and go back to his family.

"I guess, I'll go back for now. I'll return to this place and make you submit. You can't win against me. Just surrender so we'll all be happy 'kay?" Noctis said to the hollow as he teleported back to his room not giving the room for the hollow to retort back.

"Heh. What an interesting master, maybe it won't hurt helping you in the future.... I know you're in there, why don't you come out already?" The hollow said and another figure popped out of the air.

"You sure had a good time watching, huh." Hollow Noctis said but the old man who popped up didn't reply, instead he just vanished again.

"What a weird guy. If he wants to talk to him, just do it. What's the point of acting so mysterious?" Said Hollow Noctis as he sat down and meditated.

When Noctis came back to his body he felt exhausted. He had been excited as it was a long time since he met someone of his match.

The system also notified him that he could now use 1/4 of the hollow mask without losing his sanity. Overall, he managed to polish his sword skills and unarmed combat to a really high level. He then looked at the calendar and saw that today was Toriko and Komatsu's departure so he too dressed up and when he went out, Johannes was waiting outside of the room. After having a really good fight since ages, Noctis was in a good mood compared to when he first entered this world.

He had gained Zangetsu, someone who he can call as a rival since their strength does not fall from each other, his cells evolved and he finally knew the first of his gourmet cell demon, Yujiro Hanma. His trip to Toriko world gave him a lot.

"Mr. Noctis." Johannes smiled awkwardly.

"Oh, come on. Don't be so stiff big guy. Anyway, I'm eating first. Wanna grab a bite?" Noctis wrapped his arms around Johannes and lightly sent punches to his stomach.

"Mr. Noctis, you can eat. I'm fine." Johannes said.

"Okay, then. Are you sure? Even though you'll miss out on great foods?" Noctis asked again but Johannes was adamant in his position. Although it tempted him, he needs to do his job.

After Noctis had his fill, Johannes came forward and told him that he was here to bring him to the 8th biotope and he was already given clearance to enter the place.

Noctis nodded as he followed after Johannes as they entered the car. On the way, Noctis was thinking whether to bring his mother and father here. Heck they could even be a combo of Gourmet Hunter and a Chef where his father would be in search of ingredients while his mother would be in charge of cooking. But he shook his head, it was not the time yet.

Unless... the hidden danger named Acacia, the most famous gourmet hunter who stopped the wars and brought the gourmet age to the humans, is not yet gone, then he wouldn't dare to bring anyone from his family in this place alone.

The drive by on the way was quiet as Johannes didn't utter a word and Noctis wasn't in the mood for a chat as well. He was making plans for the future but his main priority was to have Irene deliver his child successfully without any problems. He was also thinking of going to the gourmet world to procure special ingredients so that his family could convert his family's cells to gourmet cells.

He also took a look at the store on the way to the 8th biotope. He saw many new ingredients in there and most of them are mutated crops. The biggest impact would be the devil fruits. There were two classifications of devil fruit seeds available in the shop now.

Low-class and Middle-class devil fruit seeds. He don't know what kind of fruit were in the middle-class seeds but the high-class devil fruit seeds most likely contain Logia, Ancient Zoan, or Mythical Zoan. Noctis also speculates that cheat like devil fruits were included in the High-class Devil fruit seed and he was also sure that the price would hurt his income really bad.

In the store, he also saw new kinds of meat and they are meats of a magic beast so they could strengthen anyone who ate his dish.

He was still browsing the store when Johannes stopped the car and Noctis was brought back to reality.

"Mr. Noctis, we're here." Johannes said respectfully as he waited for Noctis to come out first before he came out as well.

Johannes then talked with the gatekeepers as they reluctantly opened the door because in their training, if was said that the gate was not to be opened if there's a wild beast in 5 miles around the entrance.

When Noctis entered the Biotope, he dashed immediately towards the location of the Rainbow fruit because those from gourmet corp. don't enter through normal means but they enter and left through the sky.

When he saw the pack once more, the troll kongs were on the defensive while the leader had a confused look on his face as well.

'Didn't you say that you will only take what you need? Why are you back here again? Bro, we won't have anything to eat if you take everything.' The leader thought but it can't speak the human language.

They were confused but Noctis just walked towards the leader and the troll kongs gave way. When Noctis reached the leader, he just sat down cross legged not minding the looks he is currently receiving.

"Why are the guys that I'm meeting are always so stiff? Loosen up big guy, I'm not here to steal your fruits. But someone will." He said as he took out a booze from his storage and started drinking while waiting for his prey.

After a few hours, a loud cry was heard from the horizon and a figure of a crow appeared sitting on the bird as it jumped down from the bird and caused the ground to be shattered.

"WHOAAA SUPERHERO LANDING! CAN YOU SEE THAT, SUPERHERO LANDING!" Said Noctis as he clapped but when he saw the Troll Kongs looking at him weirdly, he stopped as he scratched his head.

The crow figure stood up and tilted its head as if looking at the army of troll kongs in front of it. It then focused on the figure sitting cross legged beside the leader of the Troll Kongs. Although a robot could not feel a shiver, the manipulator did as he saw the wide grin on the figure's face. He felt impending doom seeing that grin. Without waiting for him to make a move, his crow face split up into two and fired a laser at blinding speed but the figure vanished as if he wasn't there.

"Hey, hey. Playing with lasers is bad, you know." Noctis wrapped his right arm towards the GT robo that just closed its head. It tried to struggle from his grasp but it was futile. It then charged five miniature lasers through its fingers but Noctis evaded them and switched to the other side and wrapped his left arm towards the GT robo.

"I told you, playing with lasers is bad." Noctis said nonchalantly as he summoned the sword of the wise and struck the body of the GT robo.

*Clink*

The sound of metal was heard and Noctis frowned but there was amus.e.m.e.nt in his face.

'Heh~ Sword of the wise didn't pierce it huh. They could serve as cooks and guard at the same time.' He thought

While Noctis was thinking, he heard a voice speaking to him.

"HAHAHAHAHA! You want to pierce it with a normal metal?! Dream on!" The voice said.

"Are you an idiot?" Asked Noctis.

"You're the idiot here, once I kill you, I will feed your body to my pet Hawk!" The voice said.

'You can't even get out of my grasp, how could you kill me? What gave you the confidence?' Noctis thought but he had a good idea.

"Hey, you. If this robot is sold to a junkyard, how much would it cost?" He asked as the operator was irritated and agitated.

"F*ck you!" The voice said and the tip of the robot's fingers charged up lasers but when he tried to release it, Noctis grasped its hands and crushed it with his grip strength.

How could he not, he bathed in the dragon's blood, he had the body refinement manual, his gourmet demon is Yujiro, the strongest creature. His physical body strength is way too absurd. How could he not crush its hand easily?

"Wha-" The operator didn't thought of it happening causing him to be in a stupor. All he could see in his camera was that he was lifted in the air before the camera was cut and he slumped down.

Noctis was actually thinking of letting Hollow Noctis took over and let him have fun since the GT robo in front of him doesn't pose any threat but shook his head. He still doesn't trust him. He could only slowly let himself go with the flow. He also want to train with the old man or the manifestation of the quincy powers, Juhabach. Usually it would be Ywach's fragment, but with the system's meddling, it formed into a separate individual entity different to Ywach.

Taking his mind from wandering around in front of a battle, he lifted the GT robo and crushed it barehanded and compressed it into a ball of metal.

"I wonder how much would it sell to the junkyard?" Noctis said. He thought of selling it to Ichiryu for a something rare but he had crushed everything and there's no more valuable from it but he then remembered that he had already scan the GT robo and his job was finished.

"Maybe I could ask Ichiryu a family ticket to eat at granny Setsuno's kitchen? If he does maybe I could bring Irene and the kids here in the future to have a taste of Granny Setsuno's phantasmal food." Noctis said to himself as he ordered the system to take him back to the FT world.

Recently, I have been researching about Zangetsu because y'know I lack bleach knowledge and I was surprised because of a thread I saw at Quora. I know that hollow ichigo is the real zangetsu and Old man is the manifestation of the quincy powers but I'm surprised because all this time, I believed that Ichigo's bankai was that mask but it turns out that it wasn't and what Ichigo's been using all this time was a fake Zanpakuto. Fake Zanpakuto LITERALLY MEANS NO SHIKAI AND NO BANKAI.

Old man also cleared to Ichigo that whenever his life was in danger, it was never him who helped him. It was his hollow. Like when he was almost killed by Ulqiorra, he transformed into his hollow version.

So, yeah just sharing some info for those who don't know as well. All this time, Ichigo's been fighting bullsh*t level characters with a fake zanpakuto, that shows how much Ichigo's talent and potential was. It was absurd.

I thought of using Zangetsu's real Zanpakuto which is the double blade version but Noctis' Zangetsu was modified by the system.

When he managed to earn the trust and loyalty of the two figures residing in the sword, shall the true form of Zangetsu, appear.
