A Father's Duty

After a few minutes of playing with mama hawk. They went back to prepare for a long trip. Noctis first made some food for Dimaria to eat and he went up and knocked on her door.

"Dimaria, have some food." Noctis said as the door opened with Dimaria looking like a mess.

'Looks like she cried a lot huh.' Noctis thought as he put the plate in front of Dimaria who smelled the appetizing aroma making her stomach rumble which made her red in embarrassment.

"Here. Have some food. You should pack your clothes as well and sleep early. We're going on a journey." Noctis said and was about to turn back when Dimaria asked a question.

"What about training? I thought you'll teach me tomorrow?" Dimaria asked.

"Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about your training. Just bring everything you have for tomorrow." He said as he walked away.

Noctis then started folding clothes neatly and putting them into his storage while Irene stayed by the children's side. He thought of packing Irene's clothes but he decided not to mess with it. One thing he's learned about Irene is sometimes... she just had no clothes to wear... when her closet is full of them. Noctis just can't understand that part of them. Also if Noctis messed with Irene's closet he would.be whacked, that's for sure.

He decided not to pursue the topic any longer or he would have a headache. He went down and saw the chipmunks have just woken up. He prepared some bread and bought some jam from the shop and put it down in front of the kids making their eyes look at it in curiosity.

Noctis then get a loaf of bread from the shop and spread some butter and spread some sugar in both sides before putting it in the oven. The customers are envious of the children since the bread was not in the menu.

Although they were envious, it didn't escalate to anger or anything. The food they are eating at the moment is really good as well. They also wouldn't cause trouble or they would be blacklisted and be eaten by Fenrir outside if they did cause trouble.

The day passed by and Noctis slowly recovered his economy because of buying Mama Hawk. The reason why Mama Hawk is so expensive is Mama Hawk is a pig that seals a powerful being inside of it. The mother of chaos.

But although Noctis knew of it, he is pretty sure that the system wouldn't let the mother of chaos out unless it fulfilled skme kind of condition which Noctis doesn't have an idea yet.

He had also given Dimaria her dinner personally and he asked if she's having trouble adjusting or if there's any problem which Dimaria shook her head.

Noctis then started cleaning up after closing the bar before going upstairs and saw Irene and the sleeping chipmunks.

Irene saw Noctis and smiled as she stood up and went back to their room.

He was about to turn back when he noticed that Kagura opened her eyes and sat down. Noctis can't believe what is happening in front of his eyes. Kagura started practicing the internal breathing of Breath of Thunder. Small electricity arcs started forming around Kagura, spreading all over her body.

'Who taught her how to hide her presence like that? Is it Pitou? or is it that brat, Somnus. If I had to guess, it has to be Pitou, Somnus wouldn't share his skill set because he is fundamentally different with his application of his magic. If you could conceal your presence, you could control your breathing like you're sleeping.' Noctis thought as he let Kagura practice on her own.

He knows that Kagura had to work the hardest because he knows she would be left behind by Pitou's talent or Erza's instincts, if she didn't put any effort on herself. But he would warn her not to overdo it. Sometimes taking a break and thinking for a while is more beneficial than just rushing forward without a plan.

Noctis then went back to their bedroom and changed into his sleepwear and laid down beside Irene.

"You knew, didn't you." Noctis asked the 'sleeping' Irene.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Irene feigned ignorance.

Noctis then started kissing Irene's neck which is her weak point before asking.

"Its impossible for someone like you to not know about it. When did she start practicing like that?" Noctis asked as he hugged Irene.

"I don't know what you're talking abo- Kyaa!" Irene screamed when Noctis nibbled on Irene's ear.

"You don't know or we'll keep going?" Noctis asked but Irene had a smirk on her face as she looked at Noctis. Irene had a 'Is that even a question?' face as she enticed Noctis to go further.

"Looks like you don't know." Noctis said as his hands roamed around Irene's body and Irene's screams resounded all over the room. Thankfully, their room is soundproofed or Irene might wake up the chipmunks and Dimaria downstairs.

Noctis woke up really early this time to wake the chipmunks up because they need to move before lots of people wake up. It would be fine if only a few people were to see Mama Hawk but having so many people seeing it, it would make trouble come his way, although he didn't care about people causing trouble, he didn't like dealing with them cause there's no point in doing so.

It'll be just like wuxia novels where they'll call in those who are more stronger and resourceful than them to cause trouble to him. Heck, he wouldn't even be surprised if their great great grandfather made a move because someone bullied his family or grandson.

Noctis woke the childrens up and they were excited because they are going in a trip once again except Kagura who worked hard to open her eyes because she is still really sleepy.

The cold early morning water woke the trio up. Noctis then let them take their bath and went down to wake up Dimaria. He knocked on the door and was surprised that Dimaria is already awake and dressed in a casual clothes.

"Good. Looks like I don't have to drag you out of your bed." Noctis said with a smirk which made Dimaria shiver.

'What would happen if master had to wake me up?' Dimaria didn't think anymore because it only made her anxious.

"If you're completely done, wait for us downstairs then we'll leave." Noctis said as he went upstairs and woke up Irene who started seducing Noctis to take a bath with her by twisting her index finger back and forth.

Of course who is he to deny such invitation? He took his clothes off and took a bath with Irene. Nowadays, he was wondering why Irene's s*x drive is insane.

'Is it her hormones? Because she's pregnant?' He doesn't know but at least they both get to satisfy each other.

The chipmunks then wore their clothes and went down to wait for their father. When they got down, they saw Dimaria and seeing an uninvited person for the first time, the two paused but Pitou slowly released her nen.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" Pitou asked. Its as if she had another personality where normally she's a curious cat but now its like she's a lion hunting her prey.

"Me? I'm Mr... Mistress Irene's husband's disciple." She haven't heard of her master's name so she used her idol's name.

"Father's disciple?" Pitou asked warily.

Dimaria widened her eyes. She didn't know that her idol already has children and immediately stared at Erza as she confirmed that her idol really had a children with her master.

Dimaria nodded to Pitou's questioning. Before Pitou could ask anymore, Noctis went down the stairs and stopped Pitou.

"Pitou, that's enough. She's my disciple. She will be trained by me." He said and the trio widened their eyes in surprise.

"Anyway, go help your mother, I'll get our ride." Noctis said as he went outside and called out to Mama hawk from the private farming space. A huge portal then opened in front of Noctis and Mama Hawk came out of it and snorted as a greeting.

He then went inside to fetch everyone and they were shocked to see a huge pig with a hat.

"Father, what is that?!" Pitou asked in excitement.

"She's mama hawk, she'll be travelling with us." Noctis said. Irene then enchanted lightfoot and featherfall to everyone and gave them the ability to fly. The chipmunks have already gotten the hang of it because they've already experienced it before but Dimaria is still struggling to keep herself balanced.

Seeing Dimaria struggling, the chipmunks flew towards her and helped her out. Now that they know that she's going with them, they started talking to her.

After they reached the top, the kids were surprised because they thought that it was a hat, but when they got closer, they saw that it was a house on top of Mama Hawk.

They then went inside and they looked inside the house. There are only two bedrooms and one of them has a king sized bed. Noctis decided to let the kids sleep together while him and Irene sleep together at the other bedroom.

After settling down, Noctis shouted so that Mama Hawk could hear him.

"Onwards Mama Hawk! Go wherever you want to go!" Noctis shouted while Irene giggled because Noctis let Mama Hawk decide where they go.
