11. Lily Loah

Translator: 飞弹

It was late at night. Monia sat at the table and looked at the night scenery outside the window. A soft and beautiful smile curved the corner of her mouth, “It’s a lovely day!”

After she sighed, Monia opened the drawer of the table and took out a strange comic book. The cover showed two silver-haired little girls in semi-transparent lace pajamas. If you looked carefully, you could find the two were very similar to Diya and Loah…

The gentle smile on Monia’s face turned into a simper after she opened the comic book. Now she looked like a lecher.

“Hahaha~” Monia laughed strangely as she read the book.

“Bang!”

Just as Monia was imagining some scenes that were not suitable for children, someone gave the door of her room a good hard kick and opened it. Monia closed the book and put it in the drawer as well as closed the drawer. Then stood up and turned around.

Loah eyed Monia coldly with a black sword in her right hand.

“Lo, Lord Loah!” Monia swallowed. ‘What’s wrong? Why is Lord Loah suddenly so angry? Who provoked her?’

“Did you write that book?” Loah’s voice was cold and showed an intent of killing.

There was a slash and Monia instantly knelt on the ground. Her upper body was lying on the ground, and the tears were streaming down, “Lord Loah, let me explain. It was Lord Diya that forced me to write the book!”

Loah nodded with a half smile.

“Ahhhh!”

The girl’s screams echoed through the Queen’s residence of the hall.

In the room, Yue Yang was scared when she heard the screams. ‘My goodness! Sis Monia, you are really somebody, and you squeaked even louder than her.’

Yue Yang was nervous as she looked at the door of the room. Soon, Loah came back with no trace of blood. However, the black sword… seemed to have been soaked in blood. Yue Yang subconsciously swallowed. ‘Maybe Sis Monia has gone to meet her Maker.’

“Oh, Luoluo is bullying Monia again!” said Lily Diya behind Yue Yang.

Yue Yang turned around and looked in horror. Lily Diya was sitting on the side of the bed with two short legs in white stockings shaking. She smiled, looking at Loah who was back. Diya’s upper body looked like that of a devoted mother who saw her child coming home. But as for her lower body, hmm, was she really the Queen of the Vampires?

Loah glanced at Diya, then walked over to Yue Yang‘s side, picked up the book from the table and mercilessly threw it out of the window.

“Ahhh! My treasure!” Diya screamed, and a petite figure flew out of the window. Then Loah locked the window and closed the curtains.

Yue Yang confusedly looked at the mother and the daughter… and she felt that Diya seemed to really love Loah.

Then there was a heavy thud.

Before Yue Yang could react, Loah flung a thick book on the table in front of Yue Yang. When she saw it, Yue Yang went nuts in her mind.

“There is no lesson today, just copy it,” Loah said coldly.

“Miss Loah, I seemed to do nothing to provoke you, right?” Yue Yang said with a wry smile.

The answer to Yue Yang was the black sword which was pointed at the tip of her nose and the cold words that came from Loah’s mouth: copy it!

Yue Yang didn’t dare to hesitate. She picked up the pen and paper and started copying The Encyclopedia of Races. Yue Yang didn’t dare to ask where the strange book came from. Nor did she dare to disobey. At this moment, Loah was still angry. Yue Yang knew she would be sent to hell once she made a single mistake.

Yue Yang had a poor habit. No matter when she opened the book to read or wrote the homework even just after waking up, she must doze within ten minutes and begin to dream within fifteen minutes.

Thirteen minutes later, Yue Yang’s head hit the table with a dull thud and she fell asleep on the table like a pig. However, when she saw Yue Yang who was asleep, Loah didn’t pick up the black sword to chop the girl. After glancing at Yue Yang, she lay in the black coffin on the bed and the lights in the room were extinguished.

At this moment, in the Queen’s room, Diya was hugging the books written by the ‘master’ Monia as if she was holding treasures. She pouted her little lips with a cute expression, “Tut-tut, little Loah is too naughty. She always throws her mother’s things casually.”

Thinking of Loah’s soft and cute little face, Diya unconsciously caressed her cheek and smiled like a lecher. But soon, Diya’s expression disappeared and her scarlet eyes narrowed slightly.

A figure of an eighteen-year-old girl appeared in Diya’s mind. The girl had shoulder-length black hair and wore the uniform of the Mankind’s Martial Arts College. One person with one broken sword entered from the periphery of the Twilight Forest. The girl’s actions alarmed the chiefs of the Vampires. They were confused about how a young girl of the Mankind could go on the rampage in the territory of the Vampires. The Prince decided to kill the girl by himself, but in the end, his two fingers were cut off by the girl’s sword. It turned out that the girl had an extremely rare divine artifact called ‘Sacred Flame’. Theoretically, the Mankind would try to train a person with such a divine artifact and never allow her to intrude into the territory of the Vampires alone. Not only did the girl turn up, but she wanted to see the current Queen of the Vampires——that was to say Lily Diya.

In the great hall, Lily Diya sat on the throne and looked at the girl covered in blood with a broken sword in her hand.

“Why do you want to see me?” Lily Diya asked with a smile. She was not worried that this girl would kill her. Even if she had a divine artifact that could kill the vampires, a little girl was just an ant in Diya’s eyes.

“I want you to turn me into a vampire,” the girl looked up at Lily Diya’s scarlet eyes and answered in a firm tone.

At that moment, as the Queen of the Vampires, Diya was also a little confused. Of course, not only her, but the princes and seniors were very puzzled. How could a human being with the divine artifact ‘Sacred Flame’ want to become a vampire?

“I need a reason,” Lily Diya said. She didn’t immediately reject the girl’s request because she could see hatred in the girl’s eyes.

‘The Seed of Hope’ of the Mankind, chose to become a vampire because of hatred. It was pretty interesting, wasn’t it?

There were two ways to turn a human being into a vampire. The first one was to hold a special ceremony called ‘the Embrace’ of the Vampires, and the second was to be sucked dry by the vampires and then have a chance to become a vampire after death. Once the former was successful, the person could have the same vampire’s blood as its owner and become a real vampire. However, even if the latter succeeded, the person would only become a monster without consciousness that only knew about sucking blood, while the failure meant death.

Once the Embrace ceremony was successful, this human being could become a real vampire, who had his own consciousness, and was recognized by the Vampires, but the price of failure was also very high. Humans who failed to survive the ceremony would suffer a process that was more painful than death, and then truly die.

Becoming a vampire meant that this person had to give up his identity of the Mankind and betray his race. At the same time, he would lose his own divine artifact. Perhaps as a human being, you were a strong oracle with a powerful divine artifact, but once you became a vampire, everything you had would disappear.

Even so, the girl firmly chose to become a vampire on only one condition that they would help her take revenge.

The Embrace ceremony was personally led by Lily Diya, and the girl also did not disappoint her. The girl with the blood of the imperial family successfully passed the ceremony of the Vampires with the recognition of the prince and seniors. From that moment on, the girl had a new name: Lily Loah.
