Chapter 9. The Beginning of the Vampire’s Life

Translator: 飞弹

Yue Yang was confused. She didn’t understand at all why she had become a vampire. In fact, the vampires with sliver hair and red eyes in the great hall seemed to be pretty powerful. The difference was that some of them had grayer hair. Only a white-haired little girl called Loah had the pure sliver hair like Lily Diya. Oh, right, Yue Yang herself also had the similar hair to that of Lily Diya after the mutation last night.

More strangely, when she escaped last night, she was hungry and wanted to drink blood. However, she didn’t have such a feeling after she woke up. And her hunger also disappeared, which was really odd to her.

It was a long time before Lily Diya’s figure appeared outside the great hall. She stepped into the hall with her short legs, and finally stopped in front of the ancestor, bowing down before her.

“You still continue to manage the internal affairs of our clan. And you needn’t take any notice of me, just assuming that I haven’t awaken,” the ancestor opened her eyes and said with a faint smile.

“Yes!” Lily Diya replied respectfully.

“I will go out for a while. When I come back, I don’t want to see the rude little thing again,” said the ancestor casually, but her eyes seemed to be fixed on Yue Yang who tried to droop her head.

“Lord Ancestor, you haven’t fully recover your strength now, so you should stay in the clan to recuperate first,” Lily Diya looked up at the ancestor and said worriedly.

The ancestor of the Vampires would be very weak after being revived from a deep sleep. In a period of time, she needed blood to nourish her body and recover her strength, and the ancestor was even awakened in advance. It was her weakest moment, and once she was discovered by the Wolves, they would definitely try to kill her. The Wolves and the Vampires were bitter rivals. If the ancestor who went out was discovered by the Wolves, they would absolutely grab the opportunity.

The ancestor didn’t say anything. She squinted at Lily Diya with a meaningful look in her eyes.

Lily Diya hurriedly lowered her head, “I overstepped my authority, it’s my fault.”

The ancestor smiled and looked at Yue Yang again. This time, she and Yue Yang happened to look at each other when Yue Yang waited to watch the fun.

Yue Yang was stunned, and then unconsciously gave the Lord Ancestor a ‘sweet’ smile. She was just about to wave her little hands to greet the ancestor.

“Interesting…” The Lord Ancestor chuckled, and then the blood red bats appeared to cover her again.

After the Lord Ancestor left, every vampire present was relieved.

“Were you nervous just now?” Yue Yang innocently poked Loah in the shoulder and asked.

“You are very disrespectful,” Loah said coldly.

Yue Yang felt aggrieved. ‘Am I very disrespectful? For heaven’s sake! We don’t fall into the same category! You are the vampires, I am human! Although I don’t understand why I will become the vampire sometimes, I am still human! Why do you vampires think of me as your kind? Can you get it straight?’

“You can leave now,” Lily Diya said with relief.

The the vampires in the great hall left one after another.

Yue Yang was even more curious. ‘Shouldn’t it be a good thing for your family’s ancestor to awake? Aren’t you happy that a treasure is revived? All of you live in mortal dread as if someone will eat you. A bunch of cowards. Look at me, a tall and masculine man, hmm, a little girl now. Anyway, I’m not afraid of anything as a little girl, but you vampires are scared to death!’

Finally, only Lily Diya, Loah and Yue Yang were left in the great hall.

“Oh, Luoluo, please give me a hug! I was very scared just now!” Lily Diya whined cutely and flung herself into Loah’s arms like a young girl looking for her mother to bleat.

On one side, Yue Yang was shocked as if she was going to vomit a mouthful of blood. ‘Blind, I’m f**king blind! What did I see? Queen of the Vampires!’ The Queen who could easily break Yue Yang’s arm would fling herself into Loah’s arms like a young girl with an aggrieved expression.

‘Your Majesty? You are not yourself today?’

The the white-haired little girl called Loah mercilessly pushed Lily Diya away, “Mom, please keep up appearance.”

Yue Yang was speechless with shock. ‘What did I hear just now? What did Loah call Diya? Mom? Is Diya the mother of Loah?’

Yue Yang watched open-mouthed as the two the white-haired little girls were hugging together. Apart from the size of their bodies and the color of hair and eyes, the two of them weren’t similar in any respect. ‘How could they have a mother-daughter relationship? Besides, the chick seems to be young. Is childbirth possible to her? And is the daughter as old as her mother? They’re joking!’

But anyway, Yue Yang really admired Loah’s father’s ability. He must be a powerful man that he even dared to sleep with the queen of the Vampires, which was much better than a certain monkey’s father!

“Ah, you almost lose me forever. But you didn’t hug me and you even pushed me away,” Diya said sadly as she hugged Loah. And her tone couldn’t be more aggrieved

Yue Yang felt that she had to leave this place since she was too fragile to stand this kind of stimulation.

The two white-haired little girls hugged each other and played mother and daughter, which was too exciting for Yue Yang.

Just as Yue Yang tiptoed to the entrance of the hall, Lily Diya smiled like a demon from behind him, “Do you want to escape, small toy?”

“No, I think I should leave first and not disturb you and…your daughter.”

“Really?” Lily Diya smiled strangely.

Yue Yang nodded desperately.

“I’ll forgive you this time! Let me introduce you to my daughter, Lilith Loah. Luoluo, this is my small toy!” Lily Diya smiled at Loah, holding Yue Yang’s wrist.

Yue Yang smiled which was uglier than crying.

Seeing that Lily Diya seemed to be sharing her favorite toy, Loah shook her head, “I’m going to rest.”

“Don’t you like my small toy, Loah?” Diya showed an aggrieved expression again.

Yue Yang wanted to cry as well as escape, but she couldn’t cry or run away. Her wrist was held by Diya. If she dared to have the idea of escaping, Diya would certainly break her wrist. Although the wrist could be recovered, it would be really painful to her.

The next moment, Diya loosened her grip and went after Loah while yelling, “Luoluo, you don’t love me anymore, do you?”

Yue Yang was shocked again.

Shortly afterwards, the figures of Diya and Loah disappeared. Yue Yang also immediately turned around and ran out of the hall, but before she could take two more steps, a hand grabbed her by the collar on the back of her neck and picked her up.

“You want to run again, small toy. It seems that I have to give you a lecture now!” Diya laughed, which sounded like a nightmare.

“Your Majesty, why are you here again? Didn’t you just go after your daughter?” Yue Yang looked at the little face of Diya with tears in her eyes.

“Yes, I did!” Diya gave a cute wink.

“So…” Yue Yang wanted to say something but Loah, who appeared in front of her, made her mouth shut.

“Small toy, Luoluo and I will be your etiquette teachers from today. I hope that you will master the vampires’ etiquette as soon as possible and won’t be so rude when the Lord Ancestor comes back,” Diya snickered while Loah also looked at Yue Yang strangely.

Yue Yang’s mind was just full of three words: I am damned!
