A Journey Through...

Mubai, Zhu Zhu Qing and Rongrong came back to the academy...

Tang san was drying off and was about to leave the showers when Mubai came in, "Xiao san, I love you so much!", "Oi! What are you doing!", "Xiao san, it was all thanks to your heavenly herbs! I really love you right now!", "You pervert! Let go of young master! Anybody Help!"

Tang san and Mubai sensed someone else enter the showers and Mubai shouted, "Zhu Qing!", "What are you here?!!", Tang san was shocked, "Oh? Nothing much...", then Tang san got even more shocked when he heard, "Xiao Qing, is third brother really alright?", 'X-Xiao wu?!?!', Zhu Zhu Qing made matters worse when she said, "Come on in and have a look if you don't trust me.", Tang san then shouted, "No! Don't come in!"

Then Mubai hugged Tang san even more and said, "Zhu Qing I'm now rank 45!", "Oh? Not bad!", then Oscar came out of nowhere and said, "Rank 45?! Boss, please teach me your ways! I'll be your loyal servant forever!", they kept on bantering and soon enough the door opened and the rest of them came in and froze and Tang san said as if he was losing his soul, "D-did everyone not know this a men's bathroom?..."

Everyone kept questioning each other and then Yu Xiaogang said, "Stop it now! Xiao san put some clothes on and follow me!", Tang san then quickly put on some clothes and ran up next to Yu Xiaogang.

A bit later Tang san finished explaining his circ.u.mstances with his father to Yu Xiaogang, "That's how it is master, do you think my father...", "Haih... your father has been at your side all this time.", "What?", "He confronted me at our time in Nouting academy and he even came to Shrek before, it was on the night when Zhao Wuji hurt you in the exam, your father appeared and scolded him...", "Wha...are you for real...so...he's been watching over me..." and then they kept talking till eventually, they started talking about Tang san's future with his clear sky hammer essence and how they should make it an unimaginable existence

Then they started talking about Tang san's blue silver grass and how it's different and how it's from his mother's affection...

Later that day Tang san gathered up everyone and said, "This a new toy for everyone, it can be used as a defence item and be used as a tool." he then explained how to use it and then fatty Hong somehow messed it up and got attached to a tree.

A FEW DAYS LATER

...

Everyone was cultivating with the help of heavenly herbs they all reached a bottleneck, the first one was Oscarm then Zhu Zhu Qing, Tang san, Xiao Wu and then Ma Hong Jun and finally Rongrong.

Later in the night Tang san and Xiao Wu were talking and eventually, Tang san began combing her hair...in the distance Ray was watching them smiling, 'They really are a good couple...', he left after a while as he thought it would be weird to watch them the whole night...

NEXT DAY

...

Everyone was waiting at the Shrek academy entrance and Oscar saw Xiao Wu and said, "Hmm...Xiao Wu your ponytail is crooked! Your clothes are messed up, your both being so sneaky...I smell something fishy going on here...", then Oscar started questioning Tang san's new bodyguard but he made matters worse and got kicked and sent flying, Ray saw this and thought, 'If he said 'I'm blasting off again', then I would've thought this was pokemon, haha...', soon enough the teachers came and Flender said, "This time around you will go by yourselves, we won't help you get any of the spirit beasts, your destination is 'Sunset forest'

Later that day they all went to get their new spirit rings in Sunset forest, Tang san explained the do's and don'ts of the hunting spirit beasts.

Eventually, it was getting dark so everyone decided to set up camp, "Fatty start moving, where are the tents?!", "At teachers...", then Flender gave a smile and said, "Hm...I have something to tell you guys, I only brought two tents, then everyone began complaining and they began saying "But how should we sleep?", "Girls and boys separate.", "B-but when teacher Zhao sleeps, grinds his sleep, snores, farts, talks in his sleep and the last time I saw him sleepwalking...d destroyed a tree...",

Then Flender proposed that the teachers get one tent and the other goes to the students,

Eventually, everyone went to sleep, and some went on a patrol, Ray stayed awake as he knew that the earthen king would show up...and soon enough it did show up...

Mubai started shouting for the teachers to get up but no one came out, that's when Er Long came out and looked pissed off as her tent was broken, So Annoying!!", she then destroyed the area around her and killed the earthen king in a matter of seconds, 'Well...damn...this is way worse than in the novel...', Ray then fixed the land with his earth element control and moved the dead earthen king for fatty to integrate with.

He then made huts out of wood and metal for everyone to sleep in.

NEXT DAY

...

Flender woke up with a little headache and asked Zhao Wuji next to him, "What do you think happened between grandmaster and her?", "...They f.u.c.k.e.d...hard...", said Zhao Wuji as he looked at the devastation of all the broken trees around them.

Flender walked around and saw some wooden huts and was thinking, 'When did they get their', he saw a sigh for two separate huts that said 'boys' and another which said 'girls', he knocked on the door for the boy's one and the door opened, he saw a sleeping Oscar and said, "Oscar who made these huts?", "Hm? Oh...it was just Ray using his weird element ability...", said Oscar groggily, he then shouted as he realised that the principle was the one who asked, "Have you seen grandmaster and teacher Er Long?", "N-no.", then Tang san came in and said, "Oh you're looking for master and aunty Er Long, they should be around here somewhere.", then Flender ran off to look for them.

He eventually found them in another little hut but this one looked more like a stable and had a connection to a massive boulder behind it, it did look quite cosy though, Er long was putting a blanket on Yu Xiaogang and Flender was thinking, 'Ho ho, Xiaogang and Er Long seem to have some progress...'

Flender then noticed a barrier around them and thought, 'Hmm...a space element, soundproof barrier, haha, this was obviously Ray...', he then saw Ray watching fatty Hong absorb the ring and every now and again watch what Yu Xiaogang and Er Long are doing, he then saw Flender look at him and gave him a thumbs up, to which Flender nodded his head, 'Oh? It seems I'm not the only one who wants this relationship to happen.'

After a while, Ma Hong Jun absorbed the ring and gained his [Phoenix Roar Air Strike], he wasn't willing to show it but got bribed by Mubai and Oscar with chicken and then he was about to fire it towards where Yu Xiaogang was sleeping but Ray stopped him and told him to fire towards a target he makes, a few seconds later Ray punches the ground and spirit power converges into where he punched and a giant piece of boulder is made from the ground up.

This made them gawk at how quick he did this and thought, 'The hell first you make some f.u.c.k.i.n.g huts and now create a boulder out of thin air, madness!!!', but then Ma Hong Jun used his new spirit skill, he was quickly covered in fire and then he put his palm against the ground facing the newly created boulder and it was delayed...but eventually it blew up in a heat of flames creating a small pillar in its remains with a Phoenix around it which diminished a few seconds later, Ray then covered the area in water as to not cause a forest fire.

Oscar and Mubai nodded their heads towards fatty Hong's new spirit skill and they continued resting for another hour before they started to walk around in the forest again...

Tang san realised that the fog was gonna get heavier and he knew that this fog was bad for everyone so he gave everyone a malaria pill to stop everyone from getting sick.

The fog was getting heavier as anticipated and Ray was thinking, 'The pink bitches are nearby...', and then Tang san used his demon eyes ability and looked further ahead in the fog, he saw the pink mistress and went ahead to capture it which went smoothly then everyone started discussing what to do now just in case there was more as they are the produces of the fog.

Eventually, they began trying to figure out how much there was and Ray saw the number and thought, 'Holy f.u.c.kin' shit they weren't giving this scene justice...what kind of bullshit is this!!', Tang san took out a pink flower that could stop poisons within a 10 metre radius and as the fog was getting nearer Ray used his wind element control to clear the fog away and then everyone went into their battle stances and started killing them, Ray used his [Flame Cerebrus Charge] and started sending them around the battlefield, Oscar said, "Yo bro why haven't I seen you use this move before?!", and everyone else nodded except for Mubai who was thinking, 'Damn...I almost forgot he could do this...scary...', then Ray replied with, "Never really needed to, its an AoE attack so it's kinda pointless when we are group fights because it would do equal amounts of harm to the opponents as well as us...", they all nodded their heads in understanding and kept attacking.

Eventually, though they decided to try and fly away and escape, then Yu Xiaogang decided that we should land by the queen of the pink mistresses who was angry and then they Yu Xiaogang explained that Ma Hong Jun should be the one to defeat it as he was the one to absorb her husband.

Ma Hong Jun began trash talking it and began to eventually fight the pink mistress queen who lost to his new spirit skill...irony really...she was defeated by the spirit ring of her husband...

Oscar was the one who absorbed the spirit ring and after a while, everyone was trying to guess what it was, Zhu Zhu Qing said it was a chilli pepper...after a while Oscar finished absorbing it and he gained, as anticipated a chilli pepper, everyone wasn't surprised and didn't care for it until he said that it raises all attributes, and then everyone was acting crazy as this was a great ability...

TWO DAYS LATER

.....

They didn't find any spirit beats and Tang san decided to use an aromatic smell where Du Gu Bo lives and attract spirit beasts...

Later that day when they began their plan and Tang san released the smell, a phantom tiger appeared and looked at Ray and could smell the scent of the same species on it and tried to attack him but was smashed to the ground by his dragon claw and dazed and then Ray signalled Zhu Zhu Qing to finish it off, Oscar gave her a chilli pepper and she finished it off in a rampage state.

Eventually, a bunch of spirit beasts appeared and cornered the teachers but Ray teleported them out of the way, and they regrouped in another part of the area and discussed which spirit beast to get.

Rongrong eventually chose the squama armoured beast which Er Long threw towards them and Ray restrained as it tried to get away in the original, Rongrong killed it and began absorbing it.

Tang san was still deciding, Yu Xiaogang offered a 6000+-year-old human faced demon spider but then Ray came in and said, "No, there's a better one than that!", which made everyone intrigued and Tang san said, "Which one?", "That one!", a big white and pink-eyed came charging towards them and was about to attack Yu Xiaogang but Xiao Wu teleported next to him to block the way but then they were teleported next to Ray, "That one!", then Ray charged towards it and used his dragon claw and then his dragon eyes and used [Mental Breakdown] which made the spider shriek in pain and it fell towards the ground and then he used his [Mineral Manipulation] and wrapped it in earth and metal and then said, "Here you go Xiao san!", but then everyone started saying he couldn't as it would strain his body but then Ray said, "No he should be able to, it will take a while, but he can do it!", and then Xiao Wu kept saying it was too dangerous but eventually reluctantly agreed.

Tang san went into the fire and ice yang well to make it easier to absorb.

A FEW HOURS LATER

Tang san still didn't come out and everyone couldn't help but get worried, "Ray...you said he could do it...he better come out of there or else...", said Xiao Wu.

Another 10 minutes went by and everyone was even more anxious and then Xiao Wu said she was going to go in there, "No your not, you would begin to burn up if you went in, it like a poison, Xiao san has tempered his body to withstand it you haven't!", said Ray which made Xiao Wu even angrier and Er Long started being on Xiao Wu's side but Ray said, "I said no one is going in!", and everyone stayed quiet as Ray released a tiny amount of his dragon god aura.

After another 20 minutes a scream came out and Ray said, "It's almost time...", and as if he could tell the future(technically he can), a black blur came shooting into the air and Ray shouted, "Hey Xiao san! Looks like its complete!", Tang san came shooting down and looked at everyone with a cold aura, people were confused as it didn't look like Tang san but then Xiao Wu ran up to him and hugged him and everyone realised it was, in fact, Tang san, then Yu Xiaogang said, "I-is this the darkening?!", "The dark what?", asked Oscar, then Yu Xiaogang explained to the rest of them his understanding of it and they looked in awe and then Oscar came over in a cheery manor and asked what it was and everyone agreed with him, "You really want to see it?", "Of course, use it on me Xiao san!", offered up Dai Mubai, "As you wish!", suddenly black like spears came out of the ground and trapped all of them in it, Ray just punched it with his dragon claw and it broke, Mubai had to attack it a few times before he could break it enough to get himself out.

As everyone got a spirit ring it was decided that they would go back home, "Um, I will meet up with you guys, I wanna explore this place a bit more before we leave.", everyone wasn't really paying attention and just said to not go too far in the forest, Ray nodded his head and ran deep into forest and thought, 'lets aim for a 100,000+ ring this time around', and he sped off deeper and deeper until he reached a lake full of spirit beasts, he hid himself in the shadows and waited for a high enough spirit beast to appear.

He waited for a while before he felt the presence of a spirit beast...

He looked at and thought, 'My uncle, this thing's massive, a f.u.c.kin' dragon!', massive dragon covered in crimson red and sapphire blue scaled came out from the lake, it towered at roughly 28 metres and looked up and basked in the sunlight.

Ray was looking at it and was thinking, 'This is gonna be harder than I thought... 10,000+-year-old spirit beasts are easy but this...I'm pretty sure this thing is 180,000+ years old, damn the disparity between the ages is for real here...'

Ray came out and got ready to fight and released the lock on his spirit rings and showed 5 deep black rings with ancient carvings on them, the dragon noticed his presence immediately and said, "Oh, I smell the presence of a fellow dragon, hmm...strange...your aura is off, your a mix of a human and spirit beast?...", it wasn't sure what to make of itself when looking at Ray who looked like he was about to fire off an attack, he charged a full blast of [Golden Rampage] in one claw and a fully charged [Flame Cerebrus Charge] in the other.

SHREK ACADEMY CAMP SUNSET FOREST

Rongrong said, "Ray's taking too long...", Oscar replied with, "I'm sure bro will show up eventually, maybe he got lost in the forest?", Yu Xiaogang then said with uncertainty, "That's unlikely, his dragon eyes let him be in tune with nature better than most and give him a better sight, that and I trained his space element good enough to teleport long distances, heck, he even has a switching ability so he can swap places with people.", they both nodded their heads and then Tang san said, "I will look for him.", "You sure, you want help?", "Nah I will go alone."

15 minutes later Tang san felt the presence of a battle going on and used his demon eyes to look for it, he ran in the direction of the battle and stopped next to a tree and saw a lake and then looked up and saw a dragon covered in red and blue scales shimmering in the sunlight and felt the heavy pressure it was releasing and though, 'P-powerful, it's a h-hundred thousand-year-old yin yang heaven descent dragon!', he then looked at the person fighting it and used his demon eyes again to look at him and thought, 'Wait...isn't that...Ray!?!?!', Tang san was bewildered at the sight he saw 5 black rings around him and thought, 'When did he break through?!' and watched as the fight continued.

RAY'S POV

...

'Holy f.u.c.kin' shit this thing can really take a hit, I've been fighting it for almost 20 minutes and it still won't go down, no wonder they say dragons are the strongest! Oh shit, it's gonna shoot ice flames!!!'

Ray teleported around the dragon and then he said to [Ridley], 'Do you know a way to defeat this thing?!', 'Oh? It's pretty obvious all you need to do is look for it's oddly shaped scale, it's reverse scale if you will, and use your strongest attacks a bunch of times, that should defeat it!', Ray nodded his head and ignored any sarcasm and continued running along its big body whilst teleporting to find it's reverse scale.

After running around its body a bunch of times he found the oddly shaped scale, a roughed up hexagon like shape and he tried to attack it but got flung off as if he was an ant as the dragon knew what he was doing, "Haha, it gonna be harder than that to defeat me young one!", the dragon kept attacking Ray, 'The worst bit about fighting someone this big and strong is the pressure they release as they move, the wind practically slaps you in the face each time! It's bullshit!'

Ray then used his [Wind Flicker] and went back to an area of the dragon where it can't see him and charged and attack by using four abilities at the same time, he combines his 'Electro fang', 'Cerebrus charge' but kept it charged into his dragon claw instead of releasing it, 'Golden Rampage' and 'Ice Barrage' which is strengthened by his two domains and then jumps into the air 20 metres above the reverse scale and slams himself back charging up his combined abilities further and then going for the attack, 'This attack could kill a title Douluo in one attack...but it also drains all my spirit power even when I absorbed his attacks...'

As soon as Ray's claw touched the scale it all turned quiet, his fist went straight through the dragon and created a gaping hole in it big enough to 30 fatty Hong's in it...he killed the dragon.

Tang san was watching this and he didn't utter a word until he saw the dragon falling and Ray nowhere to be seen...but then he saw Ray falling...he didn't stop...

Tang san ran towards ray using his shadow steps and used his blue silver grass to catch him, the dragon fell and made the ground shake...

Ray was barely awake and saw that Tang san was next to him, "Xiao...san...what are you doing...here?!", "I-I should be asking you the same thing, you were fighting a dragon! And your rings they were all black, not 3 purple and a black one you had another one to your a spirit king?!", "Okay, okay, stop with the questions, I will answer them once I'm healed up!", Tang san nodded his head and waited for him to finish healing and restoring his strength...he was done after 20 minutes as he digested a [Spirit Restoration] pill that let him gather spirit energy 8x faster.

Ray then sighed and said, "Lemme explain fully once I absorb this ring and we get back to the academy, where I can really explain!", Tang san nodded his head and said, "Your gonna absorb the 100,00+-year-old spirit ring?!", "Yup!", "But what if it backfires!", "Trust me it won't!"

Ray went next to the glistening red ring giving off a heavy pressure and giving off a slight roar, "Oh shut up, you were defeated, at least if you become my ring I can make you stronger!"

The ring quieted down but still gave off a begrudging feeling of pride, Ray sat down and got into the position, the red ring went above Ray's head and gave off a heavier pressure but Ray used his mental strength pressure to destroy the resistance the dragon was showing...

A FEW HOURS LATER

Ray finished absorbing the Ring and his spirit power instantly boosted towards a rank 64 spirit emperor, then conversed with the spirit beasts in his mind and they welcomed the new spirit beast or dragon, pride.

Once he was done he then hid his rings as three purple and two black and opened his eyes and nodded his head to tang san, he put the dragon body in his system storage which made Tang san gawk even more, "What never seen spacial storage before?", Ray said sarcastically and then he told him to follow him back, Tang san looked at him and thought, 'Ray, you really are a mystery...but then again so am I...', and then he laughed and smiled as they got back to the camp.
