A Month Of Dreams: Loving A Secret CEO

Lexi Min is just having fun. She was locked up in her house for almost a month, planning the hiring process, finances and productivity of the Customer Service company she works with.

She decided to be a freelancer, own her time and work at home. It posts as a treat though to her social life but definitely gives her money ten folds than before. She is a social animal. Not a wild one but she needs social interaction in her life.

From the warm of her room to this noisy bar, beer on her hand, friends laughing about her long messy brown hair, she can't be more contented.

"Sooooo...You are here..done with all the work you need to do to pay for your nephews' and nieces' school?" said Lei after puffing her cigarette.

After gulping down her first beer for 6 months, Lexi smiled. "Of course! I have been doing my job for 10 years! Easy!"

"Ahem..you have time now for boys?" teased Anna after eating a bunch of fruits.

"I always have time for them! They just don't have time for me" Lexi chuckled and asked for another bottle of beer. Tonight she will go home to her hotel drunk as hell.

6-hour bus ride just to be with her friends should be savored to the fullest!

This bunch of crazies is Lexi's workmates before. They were her subordinates, she was the strict supervisor.

They love her despite her cold stare and strong words. They love her because they were built to be tough to windstand the test of their workplace. They love her because she is the reason all of them now are on Supervisor and Manager Levels.

Lexi was always strict but warm inside. She will go beyond her duties just for them to be taken cared of but she expects a no excuse attitude.

Before Lexi left C company to earn more, she made sure that the company will not have any other choice for people to be promoted but her team because of them competencies and abilities.

Lexi also loves and appreciates her now friends and ex-workmates. They understood her every move and word. She appreciates hard work and positive attitude above anything else at work. She can't help but smile to think that the silent Lei is now a Supervisor and handles her own team. Anna who is a partygoer is now the Manager of Lei.

"Ladies, one more round on the house," said the smiling Jake. Jake has a boy-next door look, a warm smile and has a vibrating aura of the sun. He is also Lexi's workmate but unlike others, he left C company and started his own business. He is now the proud owner of "Here", a bar that is popular for high profile people.

Everything about "Here" shouts money. Elegant interior located on the 132nd floor of the highest building in the city. Glass windows have scenery that will easily take your breath away. Even the beer she is leisurely drinking costs half of her day's work.

"Come on! We will pay for everything!" After grabbing another bottle on its neck, Lexi shouted since the live band now started to play its first song.

Jake laughed, "No way Boss! I have more money than you! And I just saw you after a year, this is my treat! Just drink and eat all you want!"

As a sign of respect, Jake can't even call Lexi by her name. He owes her a lot.If not with her guidance, he can just easily waste his inheritance away.

Club Manager Ryan approached Jake and whispered to his ear. Everyone saw the panic and joy mixed in his smile. "Moneymakers coming right up!"

This means that high profile customers are here.

Lexi doesn't care. She just enjoys her beer and laughter.

After letting out a loud and long laugh on Anna's misadventures, that's the time she sees it. Gray eyes looking straight at her. She was shocked at how intense they were. Then he smiled and Lexi was dumbfounded. Her cheeks are now redder and not just because of the alcohol.

"What the hells wrong with me?! I don't need this shit" Lexi immediately gives a meek smile and looks at the other way.
