"Here you go Ms. Min." The bank manager hands over a black duffel bag. "As per your request in that bag is 5 million.. 2 million is from your own account and 3 million is from.. "

"That's enough! " Lexi snapped. She doesn't need to be reminded that she is stealing money. She will pay for this, she promised to herself.

She is about to stand when the manager phone rings.

"Yes sir! She is still here. Yes.... I will.. " His faces turned happy to scared for a matter of second.

"Eerrrmm... Ms. Min.. Mr. Lu wants to talk to you. He is handing the phone to her.

What?! What will she say? How is your day so far? We are engaged right? So I am borrowing money from you. Ow! Don't worry just to save a friend. She looks phatetic while looking at the phone.

"Ms. Min" The manager's eyes are begging. If only he knew.

Lexi grabs the phone. Inhales a handful of air as if this will make things easier for me.

"President Lu...." She suddenly doesn"t know how to talk.

"Everything ok baby? Is there an emergency? " Alexander's voice is full of worries.

"No... Everything is ok. I will just borrow 3 million. My money is not enough. I need to buy something.... family thing.. I will pay you." Lexi says in one breathing.

Her heart is beating so fast when Alexander did noy reply immediately. " Alexander? "

The line went dead. Ow crap! She knows that Alexander is now doing something.

She pretended that she is talking to him and looked at the Manager who is also looking at her hopelessly.

"Sure. Yes....thanks... I love you.. See you later." She hands the phone back to the Manager. He now looks at ease.

" Thank you for this." She smiles and lifts the bag, which is surprisingly light. Or this is what they call adrenaline rush.

She peeks outside and saw May is running towards her direction.

" I need to go out at the back. This is an emergency!"

She was ushered to the back of the bank and without saying anything dashes to tye busy street and hails for a cab.

As soon as she sits at the back of the cab, she started to cry. She loves the guy. She doesn't know if she will ever go home. She should have at least had rhe guts to tell him that in person.

She dialled her mother's number.

"Ma... I love you... I love Carl so much. I am so sorry for everything. Please take care of him. Please." She is now hysterically crying.

"Don't say that! What is happening?! It is like you are dying or something." Lexi can hear the fear in her mother's eyes.

"Ma.. I know you know now the father of Carl. Please don't give him to the Lu's. I need to go Ma... I love you.. Please kiss Carl for me. "

Her mother is avput to say something but she turned off her phone. She can now see Anna's apartment.
