A Naruto Fan-Fic

Some days ago.

'Glutton, how long 'til you can use your Devour Ability?' Ken asked.

'There is still 3 months and a half remaining. Don't be impatient, if the seal placed on that Beast is powerful, then it shouldn't be able to influence the child in such a short period of time. Well, it would be seeking death if it does breakthrough, though.' Glutton replied.

'I see. It would be best to get rid of the remaining Negative Energy of the Kyuubi. Is there really no way for you to devour even if it won't break out of the seal?'

'I did not tell you this previously because you did not have the ability to one's enter the Sea of Consciousness and I am too weak to do it myself. But with the power of your Eye Bloodline, maybe you could enter the child's Sea of Consciousness, release the Seal and let me Devour the Negative Energy.' Gluttony replied.

'Sea of Consciousness?'

'Yeah. Inside oneself is like a new world. The more complete it looks, the stronger your Mental Energy is. Those with weak Mental Energies tend to be easily influenced and dumb. They are easily caught in illusions. Once you reach a higher level of training, then you would be able to enter your Sea of Consciousness and build it. Once you are strong enough, you can even project your Sea of Consciousness in the real world and affect reality itself.'

'Does that mean that if I build my Sea of Consciousness into a weapon, I can project it and use it?'

'Yeah. But right, you are not even close to such a stage of power.'

'I know.'

That's right! Three years ago, Glutton used its only remaining ability, it's innate Devour Ability, to consume the Yin Energy extracted by the Reaper from the Kyuubi.

Back then, however, the Reaper did not really extract all of the Kyuubi's Yin Chakra.

The reason being the Negative Energy. Due to Kyuubi's decades of years of imprisonment, it was consumed by negative emotions leading it to develop a tremendous amount of Negative Energy. The Negative Energy was so tremendous that it was able to influence its Yang Chakra, transforming nearly twenty percent of it to Yin Chakra.

So right now, there is still 20 percent Yin Chakra remaining in the Kyuubi. If Glutton could consume it and share 30 percent of it to Ken, then it would increase his Chakra reserves big time.

Back to the present.

Reaching the lakeside, "Come, sit here," Ken beckoned for Naruto to sit beside him.

"Where is this?" Naruto asked as he curiously looked around. He did not know that there was a place like this inside the village.

"It's my Clan's Compound. Never mind that. Listen carefully, what I am about to tell you right now is something that you should not know. However, from my point of view, I think you have the right to know." Ken turned serious. He looked at the kid in the eye to show that he was not kidding at all.

"What is it?" Nervous, Naruto's voice trembled a bit.

"It is the truth about you, well, at least what I know about you. Although I only know a little about you, it should be enough to fill some void in your heart." Ken stated.

"The truth about me?" Naruto trembled.

"Let me first tell you about a story. Long ago, there was an attack that nearly destroyed a village. It was an attack by a monster. A monster made up of a tremendous amount of Chakra, so strong and humongous that no one in the village was capable of defeating it alone, except for one man and a woman. However, the woman was already weakened after just giving birth. Nevertheless, she still joined her husband to fight off the monster.

"They fought the monster but in the end, they managed to lock down the mountain-like monster. The woman was able to tie the monster with several golden chains. However, the woman was already weakened to the point that she is already nearing her death.

"Still, determined to save the village, to save the lives of thousands of people, and to protect their newborn baby, the man decided to perform a Forbidden Technique. However, it was a technique that would cost his life. Still, he was unfazed. As long as he could save their son, the people, and save the village, the man would do everything.

"Using that Forbidden Technique, the man wanted to imprison the monster inside of him, to seal the monster inside of him.

"However, the man knew that he would die, and if he dies, the monster would not die with him, it would be freed and would cause destruction again.

"With no choice left, the man decided to imprison the monster inside their newborn baby. Unfortunately, the monster proved to be infinitely strong in their battle earlier. Afraid that the baby won't be able to imprison the monster, the man decided to split the monster's Chakra in half. He would imprison half inside him, and the other half, inside their son.

"The man knew that if he died, half of the monster would die with him but the monster would not be freed because half of it is still alive.

"The man also knew that their son is exceptional, a powerful baby capable of imprisoning a powerful monster. He knew that his son is more powerful than the monster."

"And as I see it, the man was not wrong to believe so." Ken ended the story with a slight smile. "So, did you understand my story?"

Wiping his tears, Naruto nodded. He appeared to have been moved but saddened at the same time.

'Ah, he did get it, but not really.' Ken sighed in his mind.

"It's good that you understand. You can go home now. Don't be late tomorrow!" Ken stood up, left the teary-eyed Naruto and went home.

Only after a minute did Naruto finally remember that Ken was supposed to tell him something about him.

"That liar!" Naruto could only yell out loud seeing no sign of Ken anywhere.

As young and dumb as he is, of course, he would not be able to understand what Ken implied in the story.

The story Ken told Naruto earlier was based on what he saw. It was a story he deduced from the scenes that he saw during that fateful night.

Of course, he altered some of it, like the part where the man was able to imprison(seal) half of the monster inside of him. After all, it was Glutton who devoured it and shared the Chakra with him.

But even though it was only created from very little source, Ken was sure that his story should be over 40 percent accurate.

Returning home, Ken went straight to change into his training clothes, ate his early lunch and got ready to return to his training grounds.

However, he stopped when he saw Sasuke playing alone by the small pond. Somehow, it reminded him of Naruto. Although their circ.u.mstances were different, they still looked the same... lonely.

'Guess I'll rest today.' Ken thought and returned his shinobi tools to the storage. With a large smile, he ran to where Sasuke is.

"Let's play, Sasuke!"

"Really? Yehay!" The cheerful voice of Sasuke and the occasional chuckle of Ken echoed in the house all afternoon.

"Nii-san, I found a really interesting place yesterday, wanna go?"

"Sure, let's go."

Here goes another filler. Please wait for the action. I have been making up the story as I go on, but now, I feel like I need a good plot. So please wait for the main storyline.
