A Necromancer's Journey

Seth opened his eyes to see a field of grass in the forest. He was surrounded by rabbits and weirdly enough, felt at home. He looked down and realized that he was in the body of a rabbit, but he didn't panic. It felt like he was made to be a rabbit.

Hopping around, Seth approached a few young looking rabbits and quickly became their friends. The rabbits were named Joe, Brook, and Nora. With them, he ate, played, and slept. Eventually, he even taught them meditation. With their newfound talent in meditation, the four quickly advanced in power and intelligence to the point where they become the rulers of the forest. Here, people cultivated by gathering fire energy around them and using it to temper their bodies.

Being just and kind, the small group of friends grew to be well-liked in the forest and gathered an army of loyal animals. Soon, they set their sight on the human world and started taking over the human's territory. After hundreds of years of fighting, they eventually took over the entire human world and grew complacent. At this point, they had thousands of descendants and Seth and Nora were together as a couple.

Thousands of years went by and their descendants grew into millions and a researcher discovered the existence of another realm. There instead of cultivating raw physical power, people cultivated spiritual energy and qi. Invading this realm was an incredibly difficult endeavor and millions of lives were lost before they managed to gain some territory. From there, they discovered the techniques of this world and rapidly made advancements.

Thousands of years went by and they conquered half of the world. Seth was scouting the territory of the humans when he discovered a sect by the name of Deathly Hallows. Easily defeating the guards of the sect, he decided to search around the sect when he spotted something strange.

There was a human sitting down in a classroom ignoring everything around him. The human couldn't be more than nine years old. Seth tried calling out to the human multiple times, but he received no response. As he watched the human, he began to have a strange feeling and approached the human's direction before sitting down in front of the human.

Hundreds of years went by where Seth just stared at the human. His never aging green eyes, black hair, and noble-looking face became deeply imbedded into his memory. He would have sat there forever, but one day he heard a strange noise.

[Illusion detected, would you like to escape?]

Seth was stunned. Where did this strange noise come from? Did it come from the human in front of him? Hesitantly, he reached out to the voice and said yes, and the entire world began to crack. Panicking, he began to run as far and as fast as he could but the cracks kept following him. Eventually, he had nowhere left to run and he was s.u.c.k.e.d into a crack.

In the real world, Seth opened his eyes.
