A Trainer's Tale: Can He Resist A Pokemon's Charm!?

After Jeid and Igglybuff's performance, joined by Pichu after a few moments, Jeid coughed a bit to gather the attention of the ladies.

"For my gift, I asked a lot of 'people' just to be able to gift it to you," he said, pausing to add some suspense.

"I have asked Grandma Carol about this, so she should know what this gift is," pausing for a bit, he continued, "Igglybuff is now your new companion! She agreed to be your future partner!" Jeid said. He then handed over a pokeball towards Aira.

Aira was so stunned that she couldn't react for a second. The gift was so surprising that she didn't know what to say. She has been longing to get her own pokemon, even if it was just temporarily a keep.

She hurriedly ran towards Jeid and hugged him tightly. Now, she can train her new best friend and become a great pokemon trainer herself.

"Thank you, Jeid-oniichan," she said, while hugging him.

Jeid smiled and patted her back.

"Hey, come on, this is Igglybuff's pokeball. Go give her a name! I'm sure she's excited to have one," he said, urging her to pay attention to her new partner.

Igglybuff, who heard Jeid's words, started to jump up and down. It looks like she wants to receive a new name.

"A name, huh. Hmmm… name… a girly name. I know! I'll name you Selena!" said Aira.

"Iggly! Buff! Iggly, Igglybuff!" cried Igglybuff, now named Selena. It seems like she really likes her new name.

Seeing her happiness, Aira bent down and patted her head.

"Hello again, Selena. I didn't know that you don't have any parents to take care of you. Don't worry, we will be partners! And I'll take care of you from now on!" Aira said.

"Iggly?" cried Selena.

Aira seemed to have understood what her cry said and replied,

"Yes, really!"

Seeing their interactions, Grandma Carol, Jeid, and Cynthia smiled. Cynthia then sent out her Gible, which is also a keep from her Grandma, out.

This Gible was the child of Grandma Carol's Garchomp. It is quite strong, having [Outrage] as one of its egg moves.

Gible then started to move towards the two other baby pokemon and started to 'talk' with them. It seems like they got to know each other well because they started to play with each other.

Grandma Carol, Jeid, Aira, and Cynthia just let them be and started to eat the feast that Grandma Carol prepared.

It has been two years since that time. Aira is now teaching the little Igglybuff, Selena, moves that she can learn, and try to master it.

You might be wondering why it hasn't evolved after so many years? It is because she doesn't want to right now. She didn't seem like it, but she's a diligent and competitive pokemon.

"Iggly, Iggly, Igglyyyybuff!!" Selena cried as she was running around, trying to imitate Pichu's maneuverability training.

She has been watching Jeid and Pichu train like a madman in these two years, mainly Jeid, while Pichu was training on how to control her electric energy.

Jeid thought that she would be much more powerful if she can learn how to control her attacks in her form where it's the hardest to control.

The difference between controlling the electric energy in her baby form and evolved form was like, she's taming a dragon and a wild snake. The dragon is the former, while the snake being the latter.

Her training menu includes; anger management, improving her maneuverability, speed, overall strength of her body, meditation, and energy control.

She was taught how to scale different terrains by taking her to a 'stroll' on the roofs. Yes, Jeid taught her how to parkour.

Even Grandma Carol was amazed by Jeid's training menu. He's even participating in his pokemon's training. It was just the basic things though, he doesn't want to stunt their growth.

This Pichu now has a height of 35 cm and a weight of 3 kg. She is bigger and heavier than the average Pichu of her kind. What's more, she was a shiny!

Jeid didn't notice it at first because Pikachu and Pichu are supposed to be yellow, right? Then, he saw another Pichu, which seems like it's yellow is much more paler in terms of color with his own. That's why he searched for some books to explain this, and saw that his was a shiny one.

It was also said that it is easier to learn [Volt Tackle] if the Pikachu line is in their baby form. When they are already evolved, in Pikachu form, it is really hard to learn it.

Why can they learn it easily? It is because they can't control their electric energy! Pichu's are known for being unable to control their electric energy. That is why, when they use electric moves, they are also electrifying themselves, a thing that is needed to learn [Volt Tackle].

In this move, you have to electrify yourself and tackle the opponent with it. A move that Jeid's Pichu learned ever since it was born. But even then, he wants her to fully learn how to use the move.

Back to Jeid, Pichu, Selena, and Aira. They are currently heading home in a hurry. It was due to Grandma Carol calling them in their PokeNavs, a video call, to be exact.

She said that the egg that Jeid had with him ever since, is now showing signs of hatching.

All of them were excited to see what this egg contains, but Jeid was the most excited one of them all. He is about to meet his greatest masterpiece. Believe it or not, he spent more time; breeding, researching, etc, etc. just to get the ultimate pokemon.

It never had the chance to show itself on Pokemon: Genesis but, it will now show itself in the real, pokemon world!

Grandma Carol and Cynthia never left the side of the currently moving and bobbing pokemon egg. Cynthia has an excited look in her face, while she looks at the pokemon egg.

After celebrating Aira's birthday, she never left again for Hearthome City. She doesn't want to leave her family again.

During her two year stay here, she, and her sister, stuck like glue beside Jeid. She's now battling for supremacy, on who would be petted by Jeid, a contest that Pichu always wins at.

She always interjected between their fights and get the 'reward' for doing it, a thing that Cynthia and Aira noticed. It seems like Jeid hated it when they are fighting like that.

That is why, they had a 'girl's talk' and came to a startling conclusion. A thing that even Jeid was oblivious to.

Jeid and the others arrived at his and Aira's room. He then proceeded to put Pichu down to hold the egg.

'Do I have to just hold it?' he asked.

‹Yes, just hold it and try to feel the pokemon inside,› replied the System AI.

He asked the System AI what to do, and this was what it said he should do.

Trying to perform what she said, Jeid meditated and tried to 'resonate' with the pokemon inside.

After a few moments, Jeid heard a voice in his mind, similar to how the System AI talk to him,

‹Who… are… you?› asked a childish voice.

'I'm your friend. I have been waiting for you to come out of this shell for two years now,' Jeid replied.

‹You… are… that… person?› asked the childish voice. It seems like she remembers him.

'If you're talking about the person who talks to you every night, then yes,' he replied.

‹How… do… I… get… out… of… here?› it asked.

'Just try to push that shell, you'll be able to go out that way,' Jeid said.

‹O…kay›

After that, loud cracking sounds can be heard, coming from the egg. A bright light was emitted, coming from it, and blinded all of the people inside the room.

At a distance, all the Legendary beings in the Pokemon World felt it. The instinctive feeling of kneeling before the one and only 'sovereign'.
