A Trainer's Tale: Can He Resist A Pokemon's Charm!?

Hearing this, Jeid and the other kid's ears perked up. A pokemon match, a Pokemon League! Simultaneously, Jeid, Aira, Cynthia, Dawn, and Lucas shouted,

"""""WE WANT TO WATCH IT!!"""""

This will be the first time Jeid will be able to watch a pokemon battle in person. The thought of watching a pokemon fight makes his blood boil. For a pokemon fan, this is definitely a dream come true!

Johanna, who heard the enthusiastic replies of the kids, smiled and said,

"Ara, looks like the kids are rearing to go. You will agree to them going there to watch, right dear?"

Before Alfred could even say a word of disagreement, Johanna beat him to the punch.

Grandma Carol was amused to see this spectacle as she started to reminisce about her past.

'I remember the time when my husband doesn't dare go against my wishes. Ah, the old days' she thought.

It looks like Johanna and Grandma Carol would get along just fine.

After having a hearty meal with Dawn and her family, Jeid, Grandma Carol, Cynthia, and Aira decided to call it a day.

They separated from Dawn and her family after deciding when should they meet up next week.

Alfred wanted to voice out his own opinion but got shot down by his wife. It is definitely his fault for ignoring them and focusing on their research for months.

After that fun day, Jeid, Aira, and Cynthia continued with their daily routine. Waking up, eating, going to PokeSchool, training, eating, then sleep.

A few days past and the day they have been waiting for has come. They don't have to worry about going to PokeSchool this day since today and the whole duration of the Pokemon League is a holiday. Due to this, Jeid couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear.

'The Government is pretty generous, alright. I guess it is their way to kind of teach the new generation about pokemon and such,' he thought.

He is happy because he can learn something in this trip. Definitely not because he was too bored at the school lessons and it was a blessing in disguise that he doesn't have to deal with it.

Just as he wanted to get up from his bed, he suddenly remembered that there are clingy creatures that thought of him as their body pillow surrounding him from all sides.

Looking at his right arm, Jeid couldn't help but smile. There lay a pretty blonde girl with disheveled hair. Her bangs, which covered the left side of her face most of the time, were swept up, revealing her pretty and unblemished face.

This week, Jeid is now officially surrounded by girls all around. Pichu on top of his head, Eevee in his c.h.e.s.t, Aira sleeping in his left arm and Cynthia, now occupying his right arm.

Even since she got 'influenced' by his [Friendship] skill, Cynthia became like Aira. Although she was not clingy when in public, she was thoughtful enough to be extra clingy when there's only the two of them.

He doesn't mind, though. He finds it cute when she clings to him and asks for head pats.

'Never, in my wildest dreams, would I imagine that there would come a day when Cynthia would hug me to sleep,' he thought sagely.

'God, in my past life, I never believed that there was one. But now, you have my heartfelt thanks! This is definitely more than I deserve!'

After a while, Jeid decided to wake up the girls, or else, they will be late. It would be bad if they come at the Pokemon League late.

They still will have to travel towards Sunyshore City and ride a ship from there towards the Victory Road. There's still a long road ahead, that's why they need to leave early.

Struggling to take his arms away from the two girl's heads, he pinched their cheeks and said softly,

"Wake up Aira and Cynthia, Grandma Carol should be waiting for us to wake up downstairs."

In response, Cynthia just curled up and snuggled towards him while cutely shaking her head with a smile and Aira saying,

"Uuu, five more minutes please~" while taking his arm and hugging it.

Jeid just sighed at their antics and said,

'If you don't get up in three seconds, we will leave you here so you can sleep more."

Hearing this, Cynthia and Aira immediately got up and said,

"We're up! Let's go!"

"Okay, okay, you guys go ahead, I still have to wake up this two," Jeid replied while pointing at Eevee and Pichu.

The two of them went out and ran towards the living room to help grandma in preparing for breakfast.

Jeid then proceeded to wake up Pichu and carried his partners in his arms.

'Oh yeah, I haven't given them a name yet. I guess I will give them a name when they asked for it. It seems like they are content with this right now anyway,' Jeid thought while looking at Pichu and Eevee who are snuggling close to him like two spoiled children.

After eating breakfast with Grandma Carol and the girls, they went towards Dawn's house.

It has been decided that Johanna and her two kids would come with them while Alfred decided to continue his research, it seems like he got some inspiration from his conversation with Jeid last week.

Arriving at Dawn's house, Jeid was greeted by a tackle, enough to make him take a step back from the strong force.

"Jeid! I missed you!" said the unknown creature who tackled him.

Seeing who this unknown creature was, Jeid smiled and said,

"Dawn, you trained with us yesterday. How can you miss me already?"

"Hehehehe" Dawn didn't reply to his question and just laughed.

Johanna watched them with an amused expression on her face before saying,

"Alright, let's go to the terminal!"

"Sounds good, let's buy some snacks while we're at it. It will be a long journey," Grandma Carol said with an amiable smile on her face.

Johanna took her son's, Lucas's, hand, who is standing beside her. She thought that this son of her is just shy.

And so, the group's journey to the Sinnoh League begins!
