Some are asking about this a lot of times so let me just put it here to answer your question. According to the fandomwiki of Highschool DxD, here is the description about Youkai;

'Depending upon their specific species, Youkai have a plethora of different forms, ranging from the fox-like kitsune (such as Kunou and Yasaka) to the cat-eared Nekomata (such as Koneko and Kuroka). However, MOST YOUKAI EITHER POSSESS a HUMAN-LIKE FORM with animalistic accents or have to shapeshift to assume such a form.'

Elemental Foxes are like kitsunes but with a much ancient lineage. They're the kitsune's ancestors in this novel, to be exact. So, it isn't wrong to say that they are youkais. He said that he's part Youkai to form an excuse about him being able to wield a sacred gear.

PS: I'm putting it here also so that everyone can see it. That's because I know that some are skipping the notes I put.

After his talk with his family, they all decided to just let Shin decide whether he would want Yuki to stay outside. For them, it is par for the course to let her live outside of the sacred gear. But, it seems that the person in question wasn't so fond of the idea.

Her reason was that, she can't control her strength. In fact, she even destroyed some utensils while eating. According to her, she would go out more once her problem was solved.

"If that's what you want," Shin whispered.

He is currently laying down on his bed as he is getting ready to sleep. Haniel is sleeping with Murielle and Daniel today while Gabrielle already have her own room. She would often sleep over his room but that's not the case today.

Haniel immediately fell asleep on the bed for her to complain about not being able to sleep with her Onii-tama, anyway. She was too tired after frol.i.c.k.i.n.g around with Shin, playing different games that she likes.

『Right, I forgot to tell you that you received a reward. After unlocking me, you received a new skill. This skill will be integrated with the system on the sacred gear and it can be upgraded by performing some missions!』 Yuki said.

『Hmm? Really? Then, what's those rewards?』 Shin asked.

Seeing the contents of the mission and his rewards, Shin was completely dumbfounded.

'Are you kidding me? If I didn't make it my priority to awaken my sacred gear and took my time in awakening it, not only would I be unable to awaken it, ever, but I also would've died?' Shin thought while a drop of cold sweat came down from his forehead to his cheeks.

『Right, you would've been dead when the time came. Housing me inside your body is not something that an ordinary being can do, you know? As expected of the mutation of that already absurd race,』 Yuki said.

Right, Shin is just completely absurd. He can get back his stamina, mana, or whatever energy he needed every second. And, as if that's not enough, he can also heal himself fully while removing the negative effects placed on him by the enemy.

『As far as I know, you're an anomaly. The only race that I know of who compare to your healing technique is the Mystical Snow Spirit Fox who is known for their supposed 'immortality' due to their healing technique. But, they're also known for their lack of attack power. Aside from your Self Energy Recovering Technique being better than them, you are a member of the race that are well known for throwing forbidden spells like it was some normal [Fireball] spell,』 Yuki added.

『I am in complete agreement. I'm really fortunate to have such a broken mutated race, huh,』 Shin said.

『Anyway, you should check your status. After this, you will be too busy to check it,』 Yuki advised.

『Mm, I understand. When I start training, I will also teach you how to control your element. Is that okay with you?』 Shin asked tentatively.

『Mn, I don't think you would allow me to refuse, no?』 Yuki replied, her tone sounding like there's a bit of resentment mixed within it.

Hearing his words, Yuki just stayed silent. Feeling that Yuki wouldn't speak to him for now, Shin just smiled bitterly and took the skill cards out of his inventory. He just have to will them to appear so it's quite handy.

'I wonder if it'll hurt if I use it now?' he thought.

If it's a normal person, he would've opted to use these cards when he's sure that it's safe to use. Well, Shin is not exactly what you call a 'normal person'. Within the memories of his 'past life', his only source of income is the money that he gets from streaming on online platforms.

His game IQ is high and his adaptability in certain bad or clutch situation is superb. Besides that, his hand-eye coordination is flawless and his reaction time was almost very near instantly. At that time, he didn't know that he was already exploiting his bloodline.

Even though Shin would spend most of his time watching anime and reading some mangas and novels, many are still willing to wait for him to come online and stream. During those times, his donations would soar through the roof after the viewers see his amazing plays that could make them jump and down in front of their screens in excitement. CS:GO, DOTA, Siege, and PUBG, those are the games that he mostly played.

There's also a saying that states, "There's a thin line between 'genius' and 'stupidity'". As if he wants to prove that this saying is right, Shin immediately used the three cards one by one. Yuki, who chose to remain silent earlier, was left gobsmacked at his actions. She even felt stupid for being the only one who felt hesitant for him to use those cards while the person in question just used it so nonchalantly.

After getting the information about the skills, Shin proceeded to view his status that he didn't get to see earlier.

Upon seeing his status, Shin couldn't help but gasp in amazement. There's an SSS rank skill that went over and beyond the S rank max.

'There's also that 'The Sloth' skill which isn't even in the skills column. I can see its effects, though. I guess it is now combined with my sacred gear,' he thought.

"That aside, I guess I should start collecting these daily log in bonuses from now on? I don't have a use for the gacha coupons right now. Guess I have to wait for a mission," Shin said.

'I guess... After I become strong enough, I could probably go on an adventure? See what the world has to offer. I now want to experience... what it's like to see those amazing sceneries myself... I no longer want to see them on a screen... just like Yuki,' Shin thought.

Even though he was brought here too abruptly, Shin now have other goals, other than battling Ddraig and Albion. Aside from helping Yuki, an objective for himself is now set in stone. After thinking about these things, Shin began to doze off. He was too tired from all the things that happened today and he's not one to refuse a good night sleep. Unknown to Shin, his two parents are looking at him from the slight opening of his door.

"What do you think, dear? I already thought that he was unique ever since I saw him but who would've thought that he will be the host of that frightening dragon?" Murielle said to her husband.

"Mm, that's true. I think he will be applying for an early graduation in the school tomorrow. You think he'll train under that human called Vasco Strada?" Daniel asked.

"I think so. He's always been fond of swords ever since. I guess he practiced himself to be ambidextrous because of this?" Murielle replied.

"Let's just watch over him. For now, we need to help him prepare his two clingy siblings from separating from him for a long time," Daniel said.

"That's the plan. Let's go, we can't have him wake up. It looks like our only son is quite tired now," Murielle said as she dragged her husband with her.

After that day, Shin began to prepare for leaving Heaven for some time. He had already talked with his Big Sis Zelel about informing Griselda about his request.

Also, his parents helped him to apply for the early graduation while he's figuring things out with his sacred gear and newfound skills. In fact, he wanted to try it out so badly but held himself back a bit.

It isn't the time to do that, anyway. Even though he has advanced study, Shin still opted to study more, burying himself at a mountain of books, books, and more books. He never stopped studying as he didn't want to fail the exam.

He didn't bother training or trying his new skills out, opting to spend his time with his loved one's. Knowing himself, he knew that he'll be swept by the flow of things and be distracted. Now that he's planning to leave for training, he might be away for a year or two so he wanted to give his full attention on spending time with his parents, siblings, and friends.

He celebrated Halloween and Christmas with his family, spending 3 months until he decided that he was ready to take on the test. During those times, Gabriel and the other Seraphs never made a visit. Zelel, who rarely go home, said that they are too busy talking about political stuffs and studying some doc.u.ments.

'It will almost be January so I will go to the Vatican once that occasion has passed,' Shin thought inside his mind while heading towards the Angel School.

Today, he's gonna tackle the test that is prepared for him for his early graduation. He believe that he will be able to pass this, walking in big strides that honestly made him look so cute in the eyes of the passersby.

A few hours passed after Shin entered the Angel School, Shin went out with a worn out look on his face.

'*sigh*, Who would've thought that the exam would be that easy? Did I just waste three months of my time? No! That's not wasted time and effort! At least I got to spend quality time with my loved one's!' Shin thought.

Then, when Shin's thoughts went into that direction, his expression changed into that of worry.

'I just hope that Haniel, Gabrielle, Raphiel, and Tapris wouldn't make things too difficult for me,' he thought.

Time passed quickly, a few days passing by in a flash. In no time, Shin's date of departure finally arrived. Right now, he is standing in front of the Tenma house. Daniel, Murielle, Gabrielle, Haniel, Raphiel, and Tapris are here, seeing him off.

Facing his two adopted siblings and his two friends who now have the potential to open up a waterworks, Shin first approached his precious baby sister who is crying her heart out at the moment. He knelt before her and gave her a big bear hug.

"Mmmm, Onii-sama will miss his cute baby sister Haniel, you know?" Shin said after breaking the hug.

"Uuuu... *hic*... Onii-tamaaa! Han is... Han will miss Onii-tama sooo musshh... Uwaaa!" Haniel said between her sobs.

It breaks his heart seeing this cute sister of his cry like this. Shin cupped Haniel's cheeks while brushing her hair to the back of her ears as it already stuck on her skin because of the sweat and tears. He then kissed her forehead gently then poked her little nose.

"Onii-sama will come back after 2 years, okay? When Onii-sama comes back, Onii-sama want to hear from Mom and Dad that Haniel has been a good girl while Onii-sama is away, okay?" Shin said while smiling as gently as possible.

"Y-Yesh! Han will be a good giwl!" Haniel replied with a determined expression on her face.

"Good, Haniel is such a good girl. Onii-sama will bring lots of toys when he comes back, okay? Onii-sama will give it as a present if Haniel is a good girl," Shin said.

"Y-Yesh! Han will do her best!" Haniel replied.

"Mm, Onii-sama loves you~!" Shin said as he gave his baby sister one last hug.

"Han also loves Onii-tama!" Haniel said as she lets out a cute giggle.

Giving her a few head pats, Shin left her to his parents who held her hand. She didn't cry as she had a big smile on her face. Such a sweet Angel.

He went towards Gabrielle who is currently sobbing quietly. He's always viewed her as a quite energetic girl in her own right. This is the first time, aside from when they cried from losing too much, that he saw her cry, same for Tapris and Raphiel.

Shin went in front of Gabrielle, spreading his arms wide.

"Come here," Shin said.

"Uwaaaa! Shin! Shin! Shiiiinn~!" Gabrielle said as she ran towards Shin.

She hugged him so tightly like she don't want to let him go. Seeing this, Raphiel and Tapris couldn't hold it in anymore as they also ran towards Shin.

"Shi-chaaan! Why do you have to leave? Sebastian knows how to use swords, you know!? D-Do you want me to ask D-Dad and M-Mom to hire a great swordsman? Please! Don't leave!" Raphiel said.

"Shin-oniisamaaaa! Y-You promised that you will help me to one day fix Heaven's system, right? Why are you leaving? Uuuu..." Tapris said.

Shin didn't give any reply to them for a moment as he waited for them to calm down. This is why Shin hates saying goodbye the most. He's just leaving for a year or two at most but they get this emotional. He also have to say goodbye to his friends back at Kuoh Town and other places but he already feels so tired just saying goodbye at the very first stop.

After the three girls calmed down. Shin gave them each a kiss on their foreheads and some head pats. Then, he said to them,

"You all know that I will go back after a year or two, right? It's not like I will disappear forever," Shin said.

The three girls just nodded at a rapid pace as they looked down. Shin didn't know what they're thinking so he just didn't bother thinking too hard about it.

"I will be studying hard there so I want you three to do the same! Gabrielle, you were named by Heaven's most powerful and outstanding female. I know that this is a lot of pressure for you but I just want you to do your best! BUT, remember to also rest. Raphiel, I also want you to do your best, okay? I know that you will be a great Angel in the future! You got this! And, Tapris? When I get back, we will do our best to fix Heaven's system so you have to wait, okay? I knew that you love to study so I hope that you keep it up, okay?" Shin said.

After that, he gave them one last squeeze. He then broke the hug and went towards Griselda who is waiting for him. Gabriel wasn't here as she is still quite busy. She promised to visit Shin after she's done with all of her work that piled up. She said something about not wanting something like this happen again. It seems that she was quite frustrated that she let her work pile up this much and not having the time to visit.

"You ready now? We still have a few destinations to drop by," Griselda said teasingly.

"Yes!" Shin replied.

He then turned around and waved at his family and friends.

"Bye! I will see you all again after some time!" Shin said as he waved.

Both of Shin's parents, Murielle and Daniel, just gave him a warm smile as they waved back at him. As grown a.d.u.l.ts, they understand why Shin wanted to go to the Vatican. And, based on how monstrous their son's learning capabilities is, they knew that he will be back in a jiffy.

After that, Shin and Griselda was enveloped by a bright light. The next second, they were gone from their previous location.

After a tearful temporary farewell with his friends and family in Heaven, Shin still have to say his goodbyes with his friends on the human world. It almost took him a little over half a day until he was done with those farewells.

After they arrived in the Vatican, Shin just told Griselda to show him his room as he was already so drained. His mental fatigue isn't something that his energy recovering technique can recover.

Shin only woke up a day later. Thanks to his new skill, he is now feeling quite refreshed. After a few stretching routines, Shin went out of his room. He wanted to go and meet Griselda.

Just as he went outside, he came across a blonde haired and green eyed little girl. This girl is about the same age as Shin, around 7 years old. She's also holding a small tray which contains some egg, bacon, and rice. This meal seems to be for himself.

Her hair flows all the way down to her back, with split bangs over her forehead and a single strand sticking out from the top and sloping backward. It should be the thing that is called an ahoge. She still looks like a child but there is no doubt, this is Asia Argento.

This is one of the butterfly effects of Shin being in this world. She was brought here by Griselda after hearing about the news of her being able to heal someone. Instead of letting her stay on a church that has little to no security, Griselda swooped in and took Asia under her custody. This all happened in the middle of their investigations.

Due to him looking at her for a long time and not saying anything, Asia began to fidget shyly. Sister Griselda told her to bring some food to the new addition to their training. She didn't expect that she would meet this new addition in front of his room. She also didn't expect it to be a boy, not to mention that he's a very cute one.

"Anooo, is t-there... something on m-my face?" Asia asked nervously.

Hearing her question, Shin finally stopped staring at her as he began to scratch his cheeks and apologize sincerely.

"Sorry about that. I spaced out for a bit there," Shin said while bowing.

"N-No! Please rise! Y-You don't need to bow or anything," Asia said.

"Mm? Really? You forgive me?" Shin asked while looking up.

This action can only be labeled as deadly for the young sister-in-training as it was just too destructive.

"Y-Yes! Please, it's fine!" Asia said.

"Thank you. Anyway, let me introduce myself. My name is Shin Flammia Tenma," Shin said as he once again bowed gracefully.

"M-My name is Asia Argento! N-Nice to meet you too!" Asia replied, a bit agitated.

And so, this marked the first meeting of Shin and the young Asia Argento. What's in store for them in the future? No one really knows but, there is something that we all can be sure about. It's the fact that Asia Argento is such an Angel.
