A Traveler's Legend: Leisurely Living My Life In A Normal World

Chapter 27 - Omake Episode 2: Haniel's First Day Out, Shopping, And First Heaven's Ric.h.e

It was the start of a new day for the inhabitants of the First Heaven, the place that most Angels dubbed as the frontier. However, there is no semblance of unrest, conflict, or war that you should normally expect from a place that is known as a frontier.

That is because, ever since the Three Great Factions have stopped their war and formed a Non-Interference Pact with one another, Heaven has experienced some peace. No devil would just fly up and blast the skies with area of effect(AOE) spells from time to time and no Fallen Angel would come up and throw a light spear at them.

This is a new era and everyone is loving it. There's no war and just peace. Everyone can now settle down a bit and start improving their livelihood. Angels are normally some kind creatures due to how the God of the Bible created them.

However, their peace was disturbed when the Great War happened. Many Angels died, fell from Heaven, and lost hope. They no longer believe that peace would come once again to their land. However, who would've thought that this said peace would actually come.

Staring at the sunlight that is slowly creeping out from the horizon, Murielle couldn't help but smile sweetly. A new day has come and this is the day where she would go shopping at the Heaven's Shopping District.

"Han-chan~! Do you want to come with mother to the market?" Murielle asked her youngest daughter who is currently eating her breakfast quite happily.

She's quite sure that this baby daughter of hers will certainly agree as she is quite the adventurous one. However, she only had the chance to roam around the vicinity of their house so her curiosity about her birthplace was never sated.

"Un! Han wants to go to the mawket! Onii-tama said that the mawket is full of delicious things that Han can buy!" Haniel replied.

Sure enough, Haniel was excited. This will be her first day out and she couldn't wait to see what Heaven is like, away from their house.

"Alright, Han-chan should finish her breakfast first, then. After you're done, we will go to the market," Murielle said.

"Un!" Haniel replied.

After going out of the house, the mother and daughter pair started to walk towards the Shopping District. Murielle didn't want to fly because Haniel still haven't learned how to.

On their way to the market, Haniel would ask one question after another, showing just how curious a child can be. If a child was curious, they would even ask how the world or the Universe was created.

Unlike those irritable parents who would just brush off their child's question, or worst, even scold them, Murielle patiently taught her daughter about the things she wanted to know. This is a delicate period where the child begins to be curious about the world and start to develop their own interests so she didn't want to dampen their enthusiasm by yelling at them.

When they arrived at the market, Murielle continued to entertain Haniel's question while picking out some ingredients that they would need. Then, they saw someone who both of them know of.

"Umm... Sebastian, what do you think would be good for our dinner? Father and Mother is not gonna be home today so it is only us and the maids today," a little girl said.

"Oujou-sama. Why don't we just go to the Tenma Family after leaving some food for the other servants?" a man called Sebastian replied.

"Okay! Let's do that! Then, why don't we buy... Umm... This, and this... Also this! Oh, this looks like something that Joanna-san will like so buy this also! This... this..." the girl went on as she picked out items while the butler, Sebastian, expertly took note of them and handed the list to the dumbfounded stall owner.

"We will buy this, mister. Please do deliver it at the Shiraha House," Sebastian said while handing over the notes.

"Y-Yes!" the stall owner said.

Meanwhile, back at the mother and daughter pair, Haniel is looking at her Raphi-oneechan and asked her mother,

"Mama, is Wahpi-oneechan... u-u-ummm... rich?"

Murielle just smiled at her daughter's question and said,

"Yes, very much so. They're one of the ric.h.e.s.t people in Heaven. If I were to rank them, then they should be at the second place."

"Eh? Not fiwst? Then then, who's fiwst, Mama?" Haniel asked.

"Fufufu, that's mother's secret for now, Han-chan~!" Murielle replied playfully.

"Eeehhh~! Mama is so unfaiw~!" Haniel complained.
