Chapter 324: His Karma

With a snap, a hand suddenly reached out and grabbed the old man’s neck.

Looking at the frightened expression on the old man’s face, Song Qing Han felt a little amused and calmly said, “It’s true that you grew up under the eyes of the python, but you might have forgotten one thing about who is the one watching this python growing up.”

No one knew when Muye rose again from the ground. He stood there looking down at the old man who was now kneeling and begging with his face full of fright, and uttered coldly, “I have a good hope in you at first, but now it seems that you never deserve my good treat.”

The old man looked reluctantly at the python, hissing hysterically in an attempt to make another command to the giant monster.

However, the python’s gaze fell on Muye without moving off, ignoring the old man’s cries.

Muye looked up at Song Qinghan, with an inexplicable smile on his face, and he then eased his voice, “Well, as you wish, I will take his organ.”

Yet to his surprise, Song Qinghan did not rush to promise but pointed at his trembling finger while saying in a leisurely manner, “It seems that your disease is going to come into effect.”

Song Qinghan gave a wink to Wu Dahu and Wen Wen Xuan, and the three of them clustered tightly together, their faces resolute as they fled in the direction of the exit.

After catching a glimpse of their movements, Muye actually ruthlessly bit down hard on the tip of his tongue, making a quick hissing sound from his mouth.

Receiving the command, the python suddenly fixed his fierce gaze onto the three of them, and its huge body swam over so quickly that Song Qinghan could even hear the sound of breaking wind.

The white powder smelt fresh, but the python twitched madly in place as if it had smelt something highly poisonous.

Muye’s face was pale and his hands were trembling, as if he couldn’t even support himself at this crucial moment, but his eyes were still fixed on the direction of the three, and when he saw the white powder spreading in the air, he said incredulously, “Where did you guys get the snake-away herb from? Aren’t all the plants eliminated by me? How is it possible?”

Song Qinghan chuckled and looked at Muye’s expression which showed that he was rather powerless yet unwilling to give up, and he answered in a leisurely manner, “The fire never burns the root of the plants, once the spring breeze blows, they grow again. Remember, not everything is completely controlled by you, just take a look at your loyal son who just betrayed you. Never be so ignorant since there is a man who is more powerful behind you.”

A mouthful of blood was spat out from the Muye’s mouth after that with his hand trembled as if he had lost his last bit of strength as he fell to the ground, unconscious.

Although the bag of powder temporarily restrained the python, they still should be urgent as the time passed by quickly. If they couldn’t rush out in time, any variables could happen, just like everything just happened minutes ago. Things perhaps would shift into the way they never expected.

But luckily they had prepared enough, having tested the effects of the snake-away herb powder with the snake pack beforehand, and having gone to investigate the movements of the burning old man over the years, so they were able to win the first place in this melee.

Even so, they still didn’t expect the old man to be so ambitious. It was totally out of their surprise that this shrewd and deep old man would have nursed an intention to steal the hard-earn achievement from Muye in the final end.

Subconsciously, he turned his head and found that the python had already escaped from the influence of the snake-away herb powder and was quickly slipping in their direction.
