A woman hopelessly in Love

Back in Beurin, Shirley was in Alex's arms as he walked into the house. Mrs Shaw rushed to them asking " Did she get giddy again? Why don't you understand these small things and take care of yourself .. this girl is always making me worry." Alex chuckled and laid Shirley on the sofa. Shirley punched Alex on his arms. He screamed in pain and that made Shirley worried and she caught him to check but he started laughing again which led him to be ultimately be beaten by her. Mrs Shaw intervened saying "You guys! behave we have guests. Mr Patrick please don't mind they are like this since young."

Alex didn't care much and gave out a stare towards Patrick and walked inside towards the corridor while Shirley searched for her mobile phone and then he came back with a towel over his shoulder and one in his hand. He walked right past Patrick saying " Hi I am Alex.. and you are Patrick , Mr Marshall's assistant right." Patrick was stunned and watched in suprise while Andrew sat on the table in front of Shirley and started drying her wet hair softly while she sat there with her starring and typing on her phone. Patrick became a bit uncomfortable with what he saw and returned the greetings " Hello Sir. Nice to meet you "

Shirley was typing a message very keenly to send it to Mr Marshall. She thought carefully and wrote it down and edited a thousand times before she finally send these words "'You have done a huge favor for me. Thanking you with words are not enough ... But still 'Thank you for all your help'" and she hit send. And then looked towards Alex and she gestured him to sit down in front of her on the floor. And he did as said then she took the towel from his shoulder and started drying his hair with it and spoke to Patrick " If you are here then who is managing Mr Marshall's work for him then?"

Patrick was in awe of things happening in front of him it took him some time for him to take it in, so he replied a bit later saying " Betty Joseph.. the girl you spoke on phone on the plane." And she was reminded of the embarrassing moment so she just smiled and made a poker face. Mrs Shaw got some tea and snacks for us to have, she gave tea to everyone and sat besides Shirley and pased the snacks. Shirley asked Patrick to give the driver some tea and ask him to come in as it's raining. So he went out and got him.

Shirley got up after finishing her tea saying " I'll go change and come I am all wet." Alex got up and followed her saying " I have left a pair of clothes at your place last time .. let me get those I am also soaking wet." Patrick's eyes widened on which Mrs Shaw repiled "They are best friends since college, he stays here whenever he comes by. There family home is just opposite to ours but he likes staying with me. He is like a son I never had." Patrick's expression soothened. She offered him more snacks. Patrick got a call and he excused himself. He went out and answered the call after finishing he turned to find Alex standing behind him . Patrick got tensed and said "Mr. Alex is there something?" Alex cut him off and sternly looked at him and asked " What's in this for your Mr Marshall ? It's out of character for him to help... he never helps without any reason or perks in anything"
