A woman hopelessly in Love

Shirley was roaming in the corridors when she came to see a couples picture on the wall with name written below it "Mr Albert Marshall and Mrs.Suzanne Marshall."Patrick saw the curiosity in her eyes and he spoke up " That's Senior Mr \u0026 Mrs Marshall ". Shirley said "He is the Minister everyone knows him, I met him at the hospital once." She walked by and stopped at a side table filled with pictures. She curiously searched for Michael's picture in them. Patrick started saying about the picture which ever she starred at or held her hand on. She was really happy to know that they had a great and blessed childhood unlike her.

She then said thanks to Patrick and was about to leave when she saw the pic where a small boy was standing with a plaster in his arm. She recognised him that instant and turned to Patrick and asked "This one. . who is this boy and when and where was it taken?" Patrick could sense the eagerness in her voice and replied " That's my Boss Mr. Daniel, he had taken trip to Beirut , got lost and fell and broke his arm it was a disaster." She had tears welling up in her eyes. And she asked in a even eager tone " Where is Mr. Marshall now ." Patrick replied hastily "he is in the study going over the minutes of his video conference meeting and has asked not to disturb him". Even before he could finish she replied "which way is it ?" He said "That way, 2nd door to the left .. but ma'am ..." and she just ran towards the corridor and opened the study door and saw Daniel sitting there ... She was happy and angry at the same time and didn't know what to say and tears starting flowing from her eyes... Daniel on the other hand was stunned and couldn't understand the reason why she barged into the room with tears flowing ...

He rushed to her thinking there is something wrong and said " Dr Shaw what's the matter? " , as soon as he was out through his desk Shirley got hold of a tissue box and threw it to him saying " You Moron" but she missed her throw, which made her more angry she was searching for something more before that Patrick rushed in and intervened and asked her to calm down . Daniel was astoned and gestured Patrick to leave and close the door. He tried speaking to her by coming near her but she yelled " Don't you dare come near me!" . Daniel flinche and in a low voice said " Ok , I understand but may I ask why are u crying and why are you angry with me?"

Shirley couldn't hold back her tears and Daniel took the tissue box and passed it to her she snatched it and cleaned herself up and said in a low voice... "Why didn't you leave me a message at the hospital, atleast a name would have been nice ... You left without a word and I couldn't even answer you ... 15yrs ...and when we met you didn't even say a thing.. you knew it right! you knew it was me ..." He realised the He made her sit on the couch and kneeled down in front of her and tried wipping her tears off.. but she slapped his hand off .. he sighed " I am sorry . You have no idea how sorry I am.. where should I start from .." she glared at him and he flinched. And said " I wanted to meet you but all this happened and I realised you and Michael were involved so I couldn't .." he was out of words. She could see his sincerity in his eyes she felt hurt, but was ready to forgive . And said "Is it why the whole house is filled with lilies? Is it for me to remember?." He put his head down and said " I wanted to know whether you remembered me.." she turned her head to one side and said " I never forgot."

He smiled and stood up and strtched his hand in front of her and said "come I wanna show you something". She looked at him and gave her hand without a second thought. He took her to a farther room before stepping in he told her " close your eyes " and she gave a suspicious look but closed it anyways and then he took her to the room and closed the door and asked to open her eyes. She could not believe what she saw. Her whole life was on the walls starting from her junior high , her graduation pics, her acheivements , all the news article and interview she had ever been in. she was imersed in seing all that and astonishingly said " how did you?? These too. .." As she was looking at all those he leaned against the wall and was looking at her without even blinking. The wall even had a recent pic of her earlier from the day of Michael's surgery.

She turned and asked "why? .. why didn't you approach me ? " He sighed and said " You were always with someone. And I thought you might have forgotten." He was about to say something and he was overwhelmed with emotions and stopped. She saw him and couldn't stop herself and just ran into his arms and hugged him. She kept saying and cursing him while burying herself in his chest " you are such a moron. U wasted 15 yrs .. u fool..." And Daniel was stunned and hugged her back to his heart's content. He couldn't believe she was in his arms.. that the girl he first fell for ,his first love was hugging him. They both didn't know what exactly they felt for each other but thi moment was only about reunion the other thoughts didn't matter anymore.
