Got his phone handed right in front of him, Jiang Sheng stunned for a second, took it back and placed aside casually. After that, he continued with the comedy show while laughing and enjoying his snacks.

Pei Siyan frowned for being completely ignored. He knew that Jiang Sheng was not afraid of him anymore, but this was only getting worse that Jiang Sheng hardly took him seriously.

‘This little prick would be afraid of me only when I choke him.”

“I’ll be on a business trip for a few days.” Pei Siyan stood there and said.

“Well, good luck with that.”

Jiang Sheng waved his hand perfunctorily as he heard that and then continued laughing at the comedy. But the next second, the TV was turned off.

“What was that? Don’t you see I’m enjoying the TV show? Who gave you the right to turn it off?” Jiang Sheng was mad and jumped to take the remote back, but Pei Siyan held the remote high above that Jiang Sheng couldn’t even reach it.

Jiang Sheng was completely speechless, “What the hell is wrong with you?”

‘Sh*t, he was fine like ten seconds ago! What’s his deal now?’

“I was talking to you, so why were you still watching TV?” Pei Siyan’s face was covered with frost and danger.

“What? Didn’t I just reply to you? Why are you even mad? I didn’t ignore you.”

‘Damn! Why would a man be such a bitch about little things like that?’

“Oh come on! Give me the remote now. I’m just getting to the fun part.”

Jiang Sheng jumped again. But he was only around 5’7 and that was a lot shorter compared to Pei Siyan who was 6’3, so there was no chance for him to reach the remote.

“Fine, I’ll listen to you now, you happy now?” Jiang Sheng pressed down his anger and put his hands on his waist, staring at Pei Siyan.

Pei Siyan just looked at him indifferently and didn’t say a word. Just as Jiang Sheng clenched his fists and was about to snap again, he opened his mouth and says, “Pei Lele”. His voice was cold and he didn’t look at Pei Lele; instead, his eyes were still locked on Jiang Sheng, also stone-cold.

“I’m here.”

Pei Lele jogged her way here as if she was treading on eggs.

“How may I help you, my brother?” She flatteringly smiled and asked in a low voice.

“I’ll be on a business trip for a few days. Keep an eye on him. If he runs away, you’ll be the one to take the blame. Understand?”

“What? Why should I be the one to look after him and keep him under my eyes? I’m.. I’m not his maid.”

Pei Lele started with an angry tone, but after being stared at by Pei Siyan, she looked down immediately and mumbled the rest of her sentence, “Fine! I’ll look after him and keep an eye on him for you!”

Pei Lele surrendered at last for she was afraid of Pei Siyan getting mad at her.

‘Crap, does that mean he still wanna control me even in his business trip?”

It was not until now did Jiang Sheng understand what Pei Siyan was talking about. His face fell for that instantly.

“It’s been pretty chaotic out there, so don’t just run around carelessly, or else you could end up worse than just being dead.”

Pei Siyan warned Jiang Sheng with a poker-face and then returned his remote back to him.

“Got it! Gosh, you are just a granny repeating herself non stop.”

Jiang Sheng was impatient. The fact that Pei Siyan treated him like a kid sometimes pissed him off.

Just as he was about to sit down, his body got pulled back by Pei Siyan; then a deep bite was on his neck.

Jiang Sheng’s eyes welled up with tears because of the pain. He pushed Pei Siyan away, covered his neck and then shouted, “What the hell was that for? You don’t have to torture me like that if you don’t like me!”

Pei Siyan didn’t explain anything. He just wiped off the blood from his lips and looked at Jiang Sheng with coldness in his eyes.

Jiang Sheng was on the edge of snapping for the silence of Pei Siyan.

‘Damn, that hurts! I’m bleeding now. Was he a dog in his previous life?’

Jiang Sheng grumpily rubbed his wound, but just as his wound was healing up slowly, a magic circle formed on the wound and was glowing in dim red light. By the next second, it disappeared.
