Chapter 1 Prologue The defection of Ira Alcaraz

In the territory of the imperial capital, the mansion of Alcaras.

This place was bestowed by the Queen herself on the family of the Chief Consul [Ira Alcaras]. It was supposed to be the place where the heroes of the Empire lived, but now it is surrounded by groups of Imperial soldiers.

The atmosphere is solemn, and the wind and rain are coming, just like the thorns planted on both sides of the street, fluttering in the wind.

"Mr. Campbuik, please inform the chief executive officer that the vacation has ended early."

The seemingly high-ranking general of the empire reported this to a middle-aged man who was waiting at [Alcaras]’s house.

   "..."

But the man named Campbuik just stopped in front of the mansion, saying neither humble nor overbearing:

"Master Yila is not in the mansion, Lord Yila has left the mansion three days ago."

The general made the request with the same polite attitude:

"Please make way, Mr. Campbuik Alcarras; the frontline battle is tight, and the support of the Chief Executive is needed. This is an order from Her Majesty the Queen."

Naturally, Campbuick would not believe the words of the general leading the soldiers—

Frontline War? The front lines are almost at a truce!

"Master Yila is not in the mansion." He just said so.

And for this gatekeeper who didn't listen to advice, the general had nothing to do.

Although he was acting according to the order, they were not qualified to break into the house of the consul before the order officially arrived.

  The atmosphere became depressing...

Even a child in the capital can sense that the wind direction has changed recently.

So the attitude of the gatekeeper undoubtedly falls into the category of pretending to be stupid.

When the general was frowning, the soldiers behind him dispersed, and a man with circles of patterns on his neck passed through the soldiers and handed the general a piece of parchment: "Mr. Nathan , this is a search warrant."

   "Thank you, Mr. Consul."

Responding to this man in his twenties, whose neck was covered with black spell-like patterns, the general glanced at the inkpad on the parchment...

There seems to be something wrong with the pattern.

"Master Consul, this search warrant is really from Her Royal Highness the Queen herself..."

   "..."

But the only response to him was a silent gaze.

"I see."

The general said this, he took a deep breath, and announced loudly: "This is a search warrant! Her Majesty personally drafted an order to thoroughly investigate the Alcarras family! Arrest the criminal Ira Alcarras!"

I thought the gatekeeper in front of him would firmly stop him, but what General Ling didn't expect was that the other party would take the initiative to step aside. He added very unwillingly: "Obey..."

Speaking of this, the old gatekeeper named Campbuik has become tearful, but he still said firmly: "But Lord Yila, absolutely did not miss anything."

But in fact, even a three-year-old child in the empire knows this.

   "..."

After a moment of silence, the general waved his hand, directed the soldiers behind him, and said, "Search! Thoroughly investigate the Alcaras family, and protect the family of the Alcaras family under the Queen's order."

"yes!!"

"yes!!"

"yes!!"

In the unanimous response, the empire also ushered in the largest anti-revolutionary campaign. The former chief executive [Ira Alcaras] was wanted by the empire at the highest level.

Having spent half his life fighting for the empire, the first [consul] profession, almost single-handedly changed the situation of the [Empire and Monster Battlefield] from a disadvantage to a balance of power, and then vaguely began to dominate the legend—

  Ira Alcarras.

  …

Was declared a defector by the empire!
