"Hey wake up…"

"Hey wake up!"

"What? Who is that?!" Chong Xi Kang's loud voice echoed in the black void.

Darkness at every corner, no matter where Chong Xi Kang ran there is no end in sight.

"Hey stop running around!"

The sound of footsteps came to a halt the second Chong Xi Kang heard the voice again. "Who are you and where is this?" He asked curiously.

"I'm you but, not you."

Chong Xi Kang sat down onto the void with his legs cross and starts thinking. His first real interaction with the mysterious voice is "Then I'm you but, not you too."

"Well no, but yes, I'm your thought. You know that little voice in your head, but it is actually just you talking to yourself."

"OH, it is you. Then, this must be my mind right?" Chong Xi Kang said excitedly as he started running around again.

"Yes."

Chong Xi Kang then stopped and looked around; he let out a smile then closed his eyes tightly.

"YES IT WORKED!" A dumbbell popped out from thin air the moment Chong Xi Kang shouted.

His hands starts lifting the dumbbell, then he turned to the void and asks once more. "What do you mean by I'm you, but not you?"

"What can I expect from the physical side?"

"In a normal person's mind there is only one conscience but, in your case your muscles actually develop another conscience."

"I'm the side that controls the thought and you are the one who controls the body but we get along just fine."

"Isn't this a realistic fiction, slice of life, comedy novel? What is all this nonsense about this thing? "Chong Xi Kang asked himself.

"Heh, we failed on the comedy part on chapter one and the realistic part on chapter 7 by this point it is barely a stretch to call ourselves a novel."

Chong Xi Kang nodded and told his own thought. "Yea, the author really screwed up. I think he should go back and write The Damn Hunter."

"So why am I here?" Chong Xi Kang questioned his own thought as he materialized a barbell bench.

"You are actually asleep right now in the real world."

"So I bring you here to have a little fun!"

Chong Xi Kang stops his exercise and sat on the barbell bench looking into the darkness, he then asked. "Why am I sleeping so much recently?"

"That is easy, you know the guy sitting beside you and how yawning is contagious? That guy Lee Kai Wen keeps on yawning nonstop for five minutes straight causing you to fall asleep."

"So I bring you here to have some fun!"

A spark emerged from Chong Xi Kang's c.h.e.s.t into the darkness followed by a white flash of light revealing a whole new world to him.

Blue sky, an open meadow with a city in the middle appears right in front of Chong Xi Kang's eyes while the sun shines brightly. A perfect contra with the real world that currently is raining.

"That is where we live."

Chong Xi Kang looked beside him; a teenage boy who looks exactly like him stood by his side with a carefree smile.

Chong Xi Kang then closed his eyes tightly once more, yet this time nothing shows up.

"I know you are trying to summon your friends; you can only summon nonliving things here."

Chong Xi Kang then lets out a regretful sigh as he told his thought. "Then I'm leaving, what good is the happiest place in my mind if I only have myself."

He then extended his hand towards his conscience, with a wide smile he said. "Come let's go and play with those idiots."

Chong Xi Kang's conscience smiles back as his hand meets with Chong Xi Kang's hand followed by a streak of white light.

"I'm back, that was a nice dream."

"Ohh, muscle brain you're awake come let's beat them in a match of umbrella fighting." Lee Kai Wen said to Chong Xi Kang as he hands him an umbrella.

He looks towards the others, John Ng, Tan Han Sheng, Koh Zi Hong, and even Lim Zhen Cong is here. A smile popped out on his face as he charged forward with Lee Kai Wen.

"Let's play."
