Against The Other Gods

(A/N : I will use Yun Che from now on.)

New Moon City

On the same day, Yun Che arrive at New Moon City but he didn't go to Xiao Lie's place at New Moon Profound Palace. Yun Che went to an inn instead and get a room as he wait for his grandpa, Qingyue and Lingxi.

In his room Yun Che just sit on the bed with his eyes closing as his consciousness get inside Sky Poison Pearl where Jasmine still unconscious.

"Looks like it's not going to take long before her wake up." Yun Che examining jasmine condition.

Compared to when Yun Che first met her at the back mountain, Jasmine's face isn't as pale as before and her complexion already turned better.

"What a terrifying poison... it can corrode even her soul..."

After staring at Jasmine for a while, with her petite body that only wearing a white single piece dress and seen nothing else at the surrounding.

"Hmmm... I think I'll buy some clothes for her." said Yun Che as he retract his consciousness from Sky Poison Pearl.

Yun Che then walk out of the room and went to Black Moon merchant branch guild in New Moon City.

The interior of the Black Moon Merchant Guild was very spacious, and its silence carried a kind of looming pressure. Atop the enormous cargo shelves, there was a dazzling assortment of merchandise; medicinal ingredients, pellets, weapons, armors, gems, low rank profound beast cores, and even low rank profound skills….

Behind the counter, a middle-aged man staring at Yun Che and said. "Buying or selling ?"

Yun Che stared around for a while as he looking for a good dress. Towards the top left of the enormous shelf full of goods, he saw a dark red dress. It was a small, yet exquisite dress that was clearly made for a young lady.

The man looked at the dress Yun Che pointed at and his brow frowned. "Young man, that dress is 'Smoky Red Fairy Dress', the best dress that we have which is priced at 500 purple coins, or 5 million yellow coins. And you want 50 more dress ?"

"Yes, and also get me the best bed that you have and some furniture for a room... the money isn't a problem.... so give me the best quality." Yun Che said with a confident expression.

Right now, Yun Che have millions of purple coins, as it acc.u.mulated from his looting of spatial rings and also after he sold almost thousand of beast cores that ranging from Nascent Level till Earth Profound Level Beast Core. He keep a few dozens of Early Level Sky Profound Realm Beast Cores that he got from few years of hunting in Wasteland of Death.

"Yes, we will prepare it all for you... so please wait for a while..." the clerk bowed a little then walked away to get goods.

After around thirty minutes, the clerk come back with a spatial ring on his palm.

"Here is your goods costumer, please check it." The clerk hands over the ring.

Yun Che take the ring and check it. "Mmn... so how much ?"

"We will provide the spatial rings for free so, all of it will be 35.000 purple coins." The clerk said with a smile on his face.

"Okay... here you go..." Yun Che handed over Profound Currency Card as it store the money inside.

Yun Che only nodded and then walk out from Black Moon Merchant Guild.

When he back to the inn, Yun Che meditate and get inside the Sky Poison Pearl again.

He set up all the furniture he bought and lay Jasmine on the bed.

Yun Che didn't have anything better to do so he just sat beside Jasmine while directing all the purification energy to her.

After a dozen hour, around midnight Jasmine finally regain her consciousness.

"Where am I ?" Jasmine a little bit confused as she just woke up. When she wanted to move her body, she can feel her hand grabbing on something.

"Oh, you woke up." Yun Che noticed that Jasmine opening her eyes and look at him when he talks.

"Who are you ?" Jasmine's mind cleared up a bit then she saw her hand is holding Yun Che's hand, she surprised a little as she let Yun Che's hand reflexively and jump away from him.

"Who are you ?" Asked Jasmine once again.

"You saved my life... ?" Jasmine still have a little hazy memory regarding the night she met Yun Che.

"You !! You're the one who have Sky Poison Pearl !!" Jasmine finally remember clearly her hazy memories.

"How could some weak being like you have a Heavenly Treasure...?" Jasmine still can't believe what is happening.

"why can't I... ? and you're welcome..." Yun Che didn't now whether he should laugh or cry when Jasmine said it like that.

'Well, I really am far weaker if compared to her though.' Thought Yun Che.

"So, how are you... can you manage the poison ?" Yun Che asked.

"Yes, as long as I didn't use my energy the poison won't break out of control." Jasmine's face turned serious when she talk about the poison that inflicted to her that even invaded her soul.

"That's good... but, I'm sorry that you have to lose your real body, so you can only have a semi-etheral body form." Said Yun Che with a concerning expression.

"You don't need to tell me that, I'm not a fool so I know it already... it's much better than losing my life." Jasmine said with a cold expression.

"Wait... what is your name ?" Jasmin asked suddenly.

"My name is Yun Che." Yun Che answered with a smile.

"Kowtow to me and recognize me as your master." Said Jasmine as she stand up on the bed with a face without expression.

Hearing that Yun Che got dumbstruck for a few seconds.

"Pfftt... hahaha... really ? You said things like that out of the blue to me... hahaha." Yun Che can't hold his laugh as he see Jasmine act like that so suddenly.

"Why are you laughing... do you think this princess is joking ?" Jasmine squinted her eyes and said coldly

"It's not that... you talk like that to me, someone who saved you life and you don't even said thanks to me first... hahaha" Yun Che really find it funny about Jasmine logic.

Jasmine said disdainfully "Even when the experts of this continent knelt down in front of this princess for ten years, this princess will not even look at them. This princess is now giving you a favor by offering to be your master, yet you still want to reject?"

"Yeah, yeah... I believe what you said oh my princess... I will do as you wish and recognize you as my master... but I will not kowtow to you."

"You said that by offering yourself to be my master is you giving me a favor, but you asked me to kowtow to you isn't one. Why should I kowtow to you when you are the one who debted me your life ? Is that how you said thanks ? By making your benefactor kowtow to you ? Are you kidding me ?" Yun Che mockingly let out his thought to Jasmine.

"You...!!" Jasmine can't said anything regarding Yun Che's retort.

Facing the Yun Che, Jasmine's anger finally died down bit by bit, she coldly spoke: "alright, I will let you be my disciple without you have to kowtow to me, but it's only because I don't want to teach the ways of the Profound to a random person for no reason and you have to make sure that you regards me as your master !! To be able to become my disciple, it's the biggest fortune you'll have in your entire life. From now on, it is absolutely necessary for you to always address me as your Master."

"Okay, okay... but can't you even have a basic manner by telling me your name first ?" Yun Che asked.

"You can call me Jasmine." Answer Jasmine without much thinking.

"Then, jasmine..."

"Call me master !!" Jasmine cut Yun Che's words.

"Okay, okay... that's right, Jasmine I have..."

"Master!!!" Jasmine interrupt him again.

"Here, I have bought you a few clothes..." Said Yun Che as he show her the Smoky Red Fairy Dress.

"You are beautiful like an angel, so I can't let you just wear that plain white one piece clothes." Yun Che smiled to Jasmine.

"Okay, I'll go now." Yun Che get out of Sky Poison Pearl right away without waiting her to react about his words.

As Yun Che already out of Sky Poison Pearl, he let out a sigh of relief knowing Jasmine not acting cold towards him.

"Now let's rest for now, I didn't get a sleep for a few days already as I busy having my quality time with Qingyue." Yun Che unconsciously smiled when he remember his 3 days straight battle with Xia Qingyue.

"Within my body there is her V.i.r.g.i.n Vital Yin, that containing her Earth Profound Realm energy, the Frozen Cloud Art and Frozen End Divine Art, but the most important thing is the seed of her constitution. The Nine Profound Exquisite Body Constitution seed. I hope Jasmine willing to give me the Immortal Blood of Evil God as soon as possible. Then I can refine the V.i.r.g.i.n Vital Yin to help increase my cultivation back the longer I didn't refine the V.i.r.g.i.n Vital Yin, the weaker energy that it contains."

Yun Che smiled wryly. "But I can't just ask Jasmine to give me the Evil God's inheritance just like that can't I ?"
