I'm in a lucid dream.

Yep, a lucid dream. Or I wouldn't be seeing status boxes telling me my level. I wouldn't get random prompts about what region I'm in. Yep, this has to be a dream.

I've been playing too many games recently. Maybe that's why I'm dreaming of such things. This lucid dream is very amazing though…

I've opened and closed my eyes multiple times, but I still see the same blue boxes. When I closed my eyes and kept them shut for what seemed the hundredth time, something changed.

[Meditation Mode Unlocked]

Huh? Oh?

When I opened my eyes again, My exp bar seems to be rising. There an active and a passive mode to this supposed Meditation. Active is when I actually close my eyes and relax, passive is when I'm moving around.

Needless to say, Experience Points come in slower in the passive mode.

This dream is amazing huh?

After closing my eyes and taking a nap for what seemed like an hour, my level seems to have gone up to 5. The exp is still pouring in, but it's much slower than before.

I rise up and actually observe the place around me now. Its stretch of land with radiant green grass. Its really shining with too much green

Being in such a vivid dream, I shouldn't just laze around, so I do some walking

After walking for a few minutes, another prompt popped up

[Learned "The Way of Walking(Low)" ]

Oh? I seem to be moving faster even though I'm walking at the same pace. My mind can be really innovative huh

What if I try running? I resolve myself and start sprinting. A few minutes later

[ Learned Fast Movement(Low)]

Oooh? I seem to be going really fast as I see the greenery blur around me. Ok ok slow down, walking is fine too.

Half an hour down, I seem to have met an odd looking animal on the plains. Its a level 4 beast that looked like a wolf, but its winding tail just seems too weird. As soon as it saw me though, it attacked

As I was surprised, I instinctively crossed my arms in front of me and a burst of sound was heard

[Learned "Energy Manipulation"]

Ooh? My hands seemed to be glowing in blue energy. I look at the attacker in front of me and swing down one of my glowing fists. The animal dissolved in a burst of light.

A new prompt came up, telling me that I gained experience, coins, meat, and crafting material. Oy, a single wolf dropped all that?

I take out the meat from what sees to be my inventory and its a glistening block of meat. Oh my, how good would this be when cooked? As a lover of food, I immediately had to try this

I have nothing to spice this tender looking meat, but I make a small fire by changing the form of blue energy. Just as I imagined the energy changing to a fire, a ball of flame popped up on my palms.

I roast the meat for a few minutes, dispersing the heat of the flames to reach even the inner parts of the meat without burning it before taking a bite

Oh! Oooh! My goodness, that's good! I haven't had such a good tasting steak for a while now. I'm wondering how a properly seasoned one would taste…

I grill a few more pieces of meat before making my way again, coming across various types of animals who attack me

Besides the wolf, a dog looking thing came by, a deer, and even a thing resembling a chicken. It was funny seeing an oversized chicken flap its wings and attack you, but it tasted better than the deer

All the monsters that attacked me were handled by my energy manipulation. I sometimes tried to change the energy to other elements besides fire, and it worked exceedingly well

Of course, I didn't need to use energy to freeze the meat as the inventory kept everything fresh. A cooked steak put in the inventory was still sizzling hot even after an hour

So I cooked a little more than I needed sometimes and kept it ready in my inventory when a lot of animals came in numbers, I just sat down and made a transparent earth wall around me as I aimed fire arrows towards some wolves as I chewed on the meat of their brethren

I cant get over how good they taste. I continued my walking as more and more animals came around, none surpassing level 5, as I collected meat, exp, coins, and crafting materials

One huge wolf even dropped an iron sword. Truly a game like dream.

I gained a few new skills like [The Way of Cooking(low)] [All Element Resistance(low)] [Regeneration(Low)][Defense Up(low)][Evasion(low)][Attack Up(low)] while killing the monsters and leveled up a few times.

Each level up felt like waking up for a 10-hour nap and it gave me 5 mastery points, which I could apparently use to level up skills to a higher tier. I'll save those points for now and use them when needed.

The Way of Cooking skill was the best really. I don't know how it was possible but I could give a prompt before I begin cooking and the taste of the food would turn out differently.

I put the prompt as 'spicy wings' before I began grilling the oversized chicken and when I tasted the wings, they really were spicy! Ah, the way this world works is just marvelous

After what seemed like forever, I come across some signs of civilization. A new prompt pops up, telling me I've entered into Sommara Village. Can you really call this a village? There seems to be hundreds of houses stretched out for miles, and there's some huge buildings standing out in the middle

The style of these buildings though...I've never seen something like this before. What kind of game have I dreamt up? What is this, am I in the medieval ages? Wuxia? Xianxia? Will there be demons? Zombies? Cultivators? Dragons?

For the sake of this dream, I step forward into the village.

The people I pass by all seem to be around level 2 or 3, very few are level 5 or above. Oh, I reached level 9 a few minutes ago from the passive effect of [Meditation Mode]

Most of the people are dressed in weird robes and go around their daily lives happily. The crowded streets are filled with vibrant life with a lot of vendors on the streets selling miscellaneous things

I saw weapons, food, what seemed to be potions, there were a lot of new things. As for the language, I was able to understand everything clearly. Since I my common tongue is English, that's all I heard around me. This was a truly thought out dream…

I passed by the various vendors and went into what seemed like a high class restaurant. I wanted to see what great food they had, as well as pick up some spices if possible. As the food here is very good, please don't let this just be a dream...
