Ain't Your Regular Girlfriend

The images on the wall seemed familiar. NO, Looking at it points directly to when Gorge Mccaunty was gifted the golden egg by the king to when Gureru's assassins got killed. Suddenly, It feels like I know the story like everything. 

Or maybe, being the first person to unlock a pathway in the cave underneath river Grindale that hasn't been used in ages triggered some knowledge, Or maybe the instruction handle somehow flowed in me, in the process. And right now, there are lots of maybe in my head.

"I think I know this puzzle". I said directly looking at the images and then began to swipe the right image to match the storylines.

Suddenly the wall creaked open, Revealing a gigantic pathway, with stairs forming and the place lighting up as the stairs formed. 

"Whoops!" I exhaled deeply and said. "I think that worked". I gasped. Steven nodded and looked at me as he smiled and held out his hand to me. And I quietly slid my hand into his as he c.a.r.e.s.sed my palms against his and pulled me into a quick kiss.

"That worked well, '' he said as we walked down towards the path down the stairs.

"Beautiful". I gasped as the word fell off. The place is calming, Filled with a chilling breeze probably from the ocean and the heights of the long walls are quiet, intimidating. "This place". I gasped. "It gives me this strange feeling". I said.

"Look". Steven said. His voice came from the other end. "I can feel the sun, I think we are one block away from chore". He said again as I walked towards him. He's right, Just standing here could tell so. The demarcation between outside is just thin, but how do we get out or do we ever get out of this place? Or will our story be included in history on how two teenagers went missing in the forest during the 2020 treasure hunt? I pondered and at the same time shuddered at the thought. 

"NO," I said out loud. We've come this far and we'll make it out of here. I said to myself assuringly as I looked around, from Steven to the entire place, and in the process, I wondered. 

"Something didn't add up, why would the puzzle lead us here if not outside directly," I said. 

"Maybe there is another puzzle behind those walls?" Steven said questionably.

"Or maybe one thing needs to be completed, just one thing is keeping us from the path that leads outside". I said as I looked around. "What could be behind that place?" I said as I pointed towards a place that wasn't lit up.

"Probably walls?". Steven said.

"Wouldn't hurt if we check it out, yeah?" I said and Steven nodded. " We'll go together?". I Said again and he nodded again. We held hands and in the hold, I could feel mine trembling.

"We'll be fine". He said and nodded assuringly. 

"We'll be fine". I replied. As we walked towards the dark area. We stopped a step before, It wasn't a wall, it was another path. Probably leading to trouble perhaps. 

"Wow". We gasped together "is that…

"I think it is, " Steven said softly as we walked closer.

'We found it? I exclaimed in a small dry voice as I made to touch it as the glow was enchanting. A thought chimed in and I quickly drew my hand back. I remembered what happens in movies when certain treasures are taken from a place and have the whole place collapsing. "Would this place collapse on us if I take this out like how they do in movies?". I asked Steven who seemed as clueless as I was.

Even if the place were to collapse there would be no place to run to, but if we didn't try we'll never know and we'll end up here stuck with no food and probably die in the process. "Gra!" I shuddered. "Positive thoughts only" I shook my head, taking in a long deep breath. 

"We go together," Steven says. "Whenever you're ready".

"Steve". I called him and he turned to me. "If anything were to happen, I want you to know that I l-love you and I am an asshole for not realizing and saying it earlier and and". He closed the space between us and pulled me in a tight hug.

"I love you too Lara, I always have and always will". He said, softly patting me on the back and I felt tears in my eyes. The love I felt was too strong and I have been shutting it off since. Telling myself how silly it would be to feel it. But right now, It feels so good, it feels so great allowing myself to love instead of shutting it. "Oh Steve, you are the best thing to ever happen to me". I said softly. "I wish I'd realized it sooner". I said as I pulled out. 

My eyes focused on him as I wondered why I didn't tell him sooner, we could have been happy. I sighed ."I'm ready. We go in count 3." I said and closed my eyes.

"Are you sure?" He asked and I nodded.

Nothing happened… I opened my eyes to smile and then something happened. The brick where the egg was crested upon shattered to pieces and loud destroying noise filled the place.

My legs, I could feel the ground shaking and threatening to open, and then, all of a sudden, the huge force from before came and pushed us out.

"Bless the heaven". I said immediately my feet touched the grass. "We made it!" I yelled and jumped on Steven as I kissed him with all my might. I pulled out and stared at him for a moment. "I meant what I said back there". I said softly.

"I know," He replied. "And I meant mine". he said and smiled.

"You're gorgeous". I said as I stood on tiptoes and kissed him with my eyes open. This time slowly as he wrapped his arms around me c.a.r.e.s.sing my back with the tip of his fingers. Somehow the thought that we just eluded death ignited in us sudden hunger for each other. 

I opened my eyes as I nipped on his lower lips slowly sliding my tongue in the areas of his mouth as my hands found their way down his zip. Quickly unzipping them as I long for his skin against mine somehow thought this was a dream.

"No, It's no dream" I gasped as my hands touched him. Gosh, so hard I m.o.a.n.e.d and pulled my lips from him to watch my hands on him. I looked at him mischievously and smiled as I pulled down my pants and took him in my palms. I slide my legs apart and push myself to him. I grind on his hardness as they rub under me just an ounce away from penetration. 

"Lara," He g.r.o.a.n.e.d quietly.

"Lara!". I heard my name. IT sounded like it was in my head then the voice came closer.

"Steven!". I didn't say that. We paused and then jumped to put on our clothes as the voice came closer.

And then we hurried towards the voice.

We saw students and everyone who came searching for us. "A search party was conducted for us?". I mumbled softly. And then I saw my dad among them. I rushed and fell into his arms. "Dad", I said in tears as I hugged him. " I thought I'd never see you again". I cried.

"Shh, My angel. You're alright now, daddy is here"..He said before I collapsed on him.
