Ain't Your Regular Girlfriend

Chapter 92 - [91] WHAT A MONDAY MORNING

I popped my eyes open at the sound of the alarm clock that happened to be ringing nonstop all night. Or maybe my head was the one ringing after the tremendous night I had. Which all my efforts to uncover the mystery behind everything that has happened, happened to be all for nothing.

The whole plan was stupid so does the shitting impression I had to put on just to see the whole thing go smoothly. Turns out the phone I stole was locked, which I stayed up all night trying to crack. His wallet was useless, only filled with pills and shit. Oh! Before I forget, it turns out Aaron's real name is Hilton jerkins. A junkie who has been in prison almost his whole life. The wallet turns out to be useful after all. (oops)

"Ugh!" I picked up the phone that was beside the alarm clock, looking at it closely somehow praying for it to just unlock on its own then a thought chimed in. "Steven cracked Christy's laptop, he might be able to help!". I yelled. Speaking of Steven today is the school trip day OMG!.

"Magritte!!". I yelled as I scrolled through the drunk conversations I had with Steven earlier this morning. He called to remind me of the time and I sleepily texted him that I was on my way. Holy shit!.

I hurried into the bathroom as Magritte rushed into my room. "Magritte, you didn't wake me up!". I yelled from the bathroom.

"You said not to, plus the do- not-disturb sign you left hanging on the doorknob". She replied hastily while helping to select my outfit for the day. "So I thought maybe you and handsome boy got into a fight".

"I did? No we didn't! ". I peeked through the curtains. "Oh, shit! It's almost 9:40, and the school bus leaves by 9:55! Shit shit shit!". I berated myself as I hurried out of the shower with a towel wrapped around myself to dress up while Magritte hurried to get breakfast. "Am I supposed to eat now? You should fix it in a lunch box. please". I said almost tripping on my pants as I pulled them up.

"OK, OK... Just so you know, there's no traffic. So I'm sure we will make it on time." Magritte said as she hurried out.

"How'd you know that?". I asked and picked up my backpack shoving the evidence from last night into it. "Magritte! Where is my other bag".

"In the trunk! Hurry up".

...

Minutes later, Magritte happened to be right as there was no traffic and we made it two minutes before the fixed time. "Here". Magritte says as she hands me the lunch box. "Eat in bus". She smiled.

"I'm sorry for yelling earlier". I smiled and waved as she drove off.

"Hey". Steven pulled me by the bus and kissed me "You made it finally". He smiled.

"Yeah, I did". I grin. "I thought we were supposed to leave before 9:55? ".

"Yeah...but the principal and the teachers are kinda having an urgent meeting". He took my hand and kissed it. "Come, I saved us a seat". He said as we walked into the bus.

"Wait... There's something I need your help with". I said with my lips twitched. It's kinda weird asking him to help unlock a phone that isn't mine. Though I should have flashed it but flashing it would mean wiping everything.

"And what's that?".

"Could you like, help me to unlock this phone? ... Please no questions now... Will explain later."

"Uhm, Aight. Will see what I can do". He placed a quick kiss on my lips and led me to the seat he saved.

"Have you seen Clara?". I asked as we sat.

"Yeah...I saw her.. Oh she's right there". He pointed at the two sit before the one he saved for us.

"Thanks" I stood up, walking to where Clara was seated with her earphone plugged in ." Hey, are you alright? ". I asked. She removed the earphones.

" Yeah... I'm good".

"But you don't seem good, you seem weird?" I said and watched christy dramatically walk in with her pairs. They occupied the four empty seats that were somehow saved for them.

"Here comes the bitches". Clara said quickly and I turned, surprised as I've never heard her use that term to describe the DMGIRLS.

"Are they toying with you again?" I asked.

"N-ho". She laughed. My smile faded as Christy walked and sat on the seat that was left for me, nestling against him. "Are they f.u.c.k.i.n.g?".

"Hey! They were never f.u.c.k.i.n.g before?! Do you think they have ever f.u.c.k.e.d?" I shuddered not wanting to think of it, talk more of imagining it. "I don't know? You? ".

"Hey! I don't think so". I said as she scoots over for me to sit. "Guess I will be sitting with you after all". I huffed and felt my throat dry.
