Ain't Your Regular Girlfriend

Another school bus pulled over, immediately our own left. Followed by another. The last bus to arrive happened to be that of liberty high senior students while the other bus was St. Mary's High. Which I recalled was the same school Clara's crush Larry goes to.

"Clara, is that not Larry? You should go say hi". I said as everyone walked to meet our school teachers who were all standing with other school teachers in front of the big gate waiting for all the buses to arrive.

When they said the competition was between three schools, I didn't expect it to be those we were familiar with, I didn't even imagine the schools it would be.

"Clara?" I called as I didn't hear her say anything when I told her about Larry.

"Clara ain't here but I sure am". Steven said as he walked to me. Wrapping his hand around my waist. "I didn't see you again, what happened?". He asked as he used the hand on my waist to push me to him.

"I bet you didn't". I said softly in a small voice. While smiling fakely.

"I think I know what that smile is... Everything alright?". I quickly stopped walking and immediately turned to him.

"Everything alright? Yeah, everything is...

" Whoa!" Steven gasped followed by a student, another, and then everyone.

" What? ". I said as his attention suddenly seemed to be elsewhere. Leaving me confused.

" Welcome to Montana vile, a place of beauty". A recorded voice says as the gate pushes open.

" This place is majestic! ". He turned me towards the inside of Montana vile and moved the hands on my waist to place them on my shoulders

I was awestruck at the beautiful view. I remembered Dad describing how the place was back then, but I did not imagine it to be this "Beautiful". I quickly swallowed as the air from there felt refreshingly amazing and natural.

"This is just the outside, what happens when we are on the inside". Steven said as he nestled his head on my shoulder.

"It's Amazing". I said softly, feeling his breath against my skin, I took his hands and wrapped them around my waist. Looking at the place, all I wanted to do was to just stay this way, with Steve for how long our feet could carry. The feeling was refreshing and those last minutes were gone and it felt good to just not think about anything but to just be this way even for a moment.

"You are Amazing". He says softly. Then reality hit me "Where are the others". I gasped. We were mesmerized by the beauty of this place that we didn't realize when everyone went inside. Leaving just the two of us here alone.

" Come," Steven says and kisses my neck. We walked hand in hand inside before the gate closed on its own.

As we walked through the narrow trail, as directed by the map given to us by the receptionist whom we asked for directions. Though she asked us to sit and wait for our ride. We wanted to have a better look around the first building. Before meeting the others.

We turned as we heard a vehicle sound from behind "Lara & Steven?" a robot tour cart says from behind as it pulled over in front of us. "Hop in Lara & Steven".
