"So, you two are going to wait here for your ride to Atlas then?" Yang asked Arthur and Weiss as she packed her essentials into a suitcase ready for their short two week break starting tomorrow, Yang giving Arthur a grin, her body still shivering after her fun little session with Arthur yesterday.

"Yeah…" Weiss yawned, setting off a storm as both Ruby and Blake let out their own yawns in response, each of them having small bags under their eyes. Weiss also streatching her arms out to loosen her muscles.

"You three look like you didn't sleep a wink last night" Arthur muttered.

"No, we did, it's just for some reason we still feel tired, it's like… you know when you're sick and you have to take those tablets that make you really sleepy, it like that…" Ruby yawned mid-sentence, sending another infectious wave through Blake and Weiss, "It's like that but worse" she stretched her legs and hoped off her bed to Arthur who quickly caught her princess style and placed her on the ground.

Arthur hearing this gave Yang a look, only to get a response of her whistling as if she heard nothing as she continued to pack her bag, 'Did she drug her entire team!?' Arthur shouted in his head, 'Where'd she even get something like that!?' Arthur felt a shiver run down his spine as he vowed to never drink anything Yang gave him.

"By the way, what are you doing here? It's nine am" Weiss asked, as she checked her scroll for any new messages only seeing one from someone at the SDC saying their transport would be there within the next two hours and that was an hour ago.

"No idea, Yang dragged me here, I barely had time to put my pants on" he chuckled, his laughter dying down when he saw Yang lean down to Ruby's ear and began to whisper something to her that caused her cheeks to instantly turn red as her eyes widened in embarrassment at the quite lascivious details Yang was giving her, Blake also going red as she pulled out her scroll and began to make notes once again, blushing as she compared them to Arthur.

Ruby looked to Arthur, her cheeks red as she quickly turned away in embarrassment, "Arthur" Weiss said, saving Ruby from Arthur's awkward look, "It seems the escort for us will be arriving within the hour, s if you would please get ready, I already have everything I will need at home, if you need me I will be having breakfast" she said grabbing her dress and lightly walking into the bathroom to prepare for the morning.

"I already have everything on me so, yeah…" he muttered, "Well, I'll also be at breakfast, and I promised Fairy I'd eat with her before I go" he said soon leaving the three girls to get ready.

"Mistress Schnee" A man in a black suit said as he lightly bowed to Weiss, opening the door to the small, white air shuttle similar to a high end car, just that this could fly,whilst another man was placing Weiss's luggage into the boot of the airship, the same man looking to Arthur with furrowed brows at his lack of luggage but not bothering to say anything as he opened a door at the back of the car and sat on a seat that faced backwards out of the shuttle, his hands going to pick up a rifle that was in his secluded little space.

"Thank you" Weiss said, turning around before she entered the vehicle to look to Arthur for a second before turning back arounf and entering the shuttle, not having to even lower her body as she entered it as it had enough room for even Arthur to stand up straight without his hair even touching the roof, Weiss taking a seat on the chair that wrapped around the back of the vehicles interior.

"Well, guess that's me gone for a bit" Arthur muttered as he turned back to the others who were seeing them off, first knealing on the ground and giving Fairy a tight hug, "Enjoy you're time in Patch okay?" he said, "Summer, Ruby and Yang will take care of you until I get back, okay?" his voice soft.

After saying this Fairy wrapped her arms around him not wanting to let go as she didn't want to separate from him, but she knew herself that the chances that whoever had attacked her was in Atlas, "I know…" he voice still slightly hoarse but having improved a lot since she started practicing, now being able to speak in sentences with only minimal fumbles in words and spaces between them.

Chuckling Arthur gave Fairy one last squeeze before letting her go, Fairy reluctantly doing the same grabbing Summer's hand as she offered it, "She'll be okay with us so no need to worry" Summer smiled.

"I know, I know" he laughed, the man who had had opened the door coughed into his hand, annoyed at how long it was taking Arthur and obviously not caring for who he was not that Weiss had entered the shuttle.

Rolling his eyes Arthur stood up, "Well, I guess that means it's time to go" he said, turning around slightly and sending a glare to the man, along with the other girls, minus Blake who had already left on a shuttle heading to Mistral that had left a few minutes earlier, It being one of the few that was leaving throughout the day.

The man seemed unfazed by the multiple vicious glares he was getting, as he let out an annoyed growl like that of an irritated dog, "Hurry it up kid, we don't have all day" the man huffed.

Waving the man off Arthur turned back to the four, "I should be a few days before the new term, I don't really intend on staying near Weiss's father longer than the ball, I'll also try to get Weiss to come back with me, I don't think it's good for her to be near him, or her brother either" he whispered to them, not letting the man hear what he said as he most likely had a direct line back to Jacques.

"Got it, anything else you need us to do?" Summer asked.

"No, that should be it, maybe just check in on the egg ever now and then, but it hasn't really done much and you said it only pulsated whenever I was in the room, so there shouldn't be much to worry about for that until I get back" he explained, getting another annoyed grunt from the man, "Okay I'm going now before Jacques hound bites my head off, bye" he said giving them all a farewell hug.

Starting with Ruby, Yang and Fairy whilst Summer opted to go last, "Be careful of those men, they don't feel like simple body guards…" she shivered, "They remind me of the men who… who kidnapped me, please… be careful" Summer whispered to him, her voice trembling, whilst Arthur's eyes widened, before closing slightly as he said, "Got it, I'll contact you the moment we get to Vale" he said as he separated from, her but not before she plaster a kiss on his lips.

"Ahem!" Ruby coughed into her hand, Rolling his eyes Arthur leaned forward and gave Ruby her own one, immediately making her more bouncy as she smiled brighter than ever before, while at this point Fairy was counting on her fingers in confusion as she looked between Ruby and Summer, "Ma…ma's?" she muttered.

"You going to leave me hanging? Again?" Yang chuckled, but was interrupted as Arthur pushed his lips onto hers, surprising her as her legs nearly gave way.

"When'd that happen?" Summer whispered to Ruby, who immediately went red from the question after Yang had told her the details of her night.

"Las-last night…" Ruby mumbled.

"Well, I'll see you all in a week or two, enjoy the break" He said as he turned around entering the shuttle, turning around in the doorway to give them a wave but was blocked when the escort closed the door behind him, barely giving him enough time to even get his shoes in the door.

Sighing Arthur moved over to Weiss and sat next to her, "You're father has amazing taste in escorts" he said, glancing to Weiss who had placed her finger in front of her lips, and indicated to her ear then to a part of the backrest where Arthur could see a small almost unnoticeable black dot within the seam of the seat, 'Listening device?' he thought, immediately realizing what she meant.

Giving her a nod Arthur looked out the window, already finding they had left Beacon's airdock, Ruby, Summer, Yang and Fairy all waving to him, whilst Fairy quickly returned to counting on her fingers.

Once they had gotten far enough away from Beacon that it began to look like a small speck in the distance Arthur looked to Weiss, "So, excited for the ball?" he asked, trying to make small conversation.

Whilst Weiss tried her best to remain silent, not wanting to risk saying something that could set her father off. To this Arthur rolled his eyes, "Humour me" he said.

After a few seconds of silence Weiss let out a sigh, "Yes, it is one of the more exciting events my family organizes, I often attend it in person, although this year I had intended on remaining at Beacon and continuing my studying" she said, her hand resting atop her palm as she stared out the window of the shuttle across the emerald forest they were just about to fly over.

"So the Schnee's organize the ball?" he asked to little response, looking to Weiss Arthur saw her eyes had shut as she rested her head against the window, having fallen asleep due to her unusually tiring rest from the previous night.

Smiling at this Arthur shook his head and turned to looking outside his window once again, his eyes also slowly drifting to a close as he also soon quickly fell asleep.

"So this is Solitas?" Arthur muttered as he stared over the frozen forest below them, "I was expecting a more tundra like look, this is just arctic" he said.

"Well, what did you expect, Solitas is the highest on the globe than any of the other continents, we do not get much warmth up here…" her words trailing off as her eyes scrunched up as she looked outside analysing the horizon and landscape, "Where are we…?" she mumbled loud enough that Arthur could still hear her.

"Something wrong?" he asked her, an ominous feeling beginning to fill his c.h.e.s.t as he remembered Summer's words about the two guards.

"Yes, we should have seen Leid by now, we're supposed to stop there for refuelling but this looks more like the Schreien forest, that's miles away from Leid, let alone Atlas, its far to the east of both, we shouldn't even be anywhere near here" she explained, her eyes locking on a small flash of light in the distance.

Arthur also saw this flash, but his attention was brought away as he heard two slams that drew his attention out his own window where he saw the two escorts were falling towards the forest, their hands gripping on a cord as they pulled it releasing a parachute that slowed their descent.

Arthur's eyes widened as he turned back to Weiss who had already left her seat and began to take steps back towards him, "Open the door!" she shouted when she saw a bright orange bolt of light shooting towards them, getting closer by the second.

Arthur quickly grabbed the handle of the door, tugging it with all his might, only to be greeted with a 'Click' as both his and Weiss's doors were locked, "Crap!" Arthur shouted as he grabbed Weiss's shoulders and pulled her into his c.h.e.s.t while turning his body in such that the incoming blast would only affect him.

"What!?" Weiss yelped in surprise as she processed what Arthur had done, "Release me!" she tried to struggle but was kept tight in Arthur's embrace.

"Just shut up" Arthur muttered as he heard a loud 'boom!' causing the entire shuttle to burst apart and sending an explosion against Arthur's back, breaking through his aura and charring the skin on his back as well as sending both him and Weiss bursting through the shattered door of the shuttle into the frigid air of Solitas, the wind only helping to make it even colder.

Arthur felt his vision growing hazy as pain racked his entire body, but before he could collapse he was able to turn his head back to where the shell that had come from, seeing far in the distance the rough silhouette of a large figure, but unable to make any fine details from this distance, his hazy state of mind not helping in the slightest as he soon blacked out.

"Is it done?" Jacques asked from his seat behind his desk within his study.

"That is correct master, the mistress as well as Arthur Fielder are now within the forest, the Kreischen are currently combing the forest for them, everything is going as planned" Nacht, Jacques personal butler, the same one that had attacked Fairy just a few weeks earlier.

"Good, I want the boys production methods, I care not how you get them, I have been told he has successfully created a dust capable of at the least short range teleportation… without needing a semblance, oh, and please do remind those barbarians that I care not what they do with Weiss, but she is to be unharmed, I will not tolerate it if I lose another heir due to your negligence, Nacht" Jacques fingers rapped against his chair's armrest.

"I will be sure to inform them, Master" Nacht bowed to him, "But before that, I would like to ask what is to be done with the Eisen girl, the two Kreischen said that they saw her along with Summer Rose and her two daughters, all of which seem to be particularly close the boy, Arthur Fielder" Nacht asked, causing Jacques to freeze for a second, as anger filled his eyes.

"Another of your failure comes to haunt me" Jacques mumbled, "Leave her, we can deal with her another time" Jacques answered, "Now leave, Ironwood is arriving soon to beg for more dust no doubt it… that reminds me… how goes the investigation into Polendina's latest work? I hear he's adopted a child…"
