"That is… holy…" Jaune muttered in shock, his eyes wide open in horror at the tale he had been told. The same expression could be seen on the rest of his teammate's faces. Ren was silent his eyes closed as a sombre Aura radiated from him. Nora was unusually quiet and was staring at the ground lightly kicking it sadness evident in her expression. Pyrrha had covered her mouth with her hands muttering 'How could someone do that to a child!' through her hands, evidently horrified at what had happened to Arthur.

"I do not know..." Arthur lowly mumbled in response "Greed, power, wealth, hatred? There's so many to choose from it's to choose just one." His words trailing off as silence took hold, neither team saying anything until Pyrrha voiced out.

"How, how can you be so calm? After all that? How are you so calm? You could have died!" she asked her voice getting more desperate as she spoke.

Arthur turned his eyes to the sky as he began to think about what to say "I don't think I did 'live' after that. I locked myself in my room at the orphanage for three years, only coming out to for food if I ever decided I wanted to eat something, which wasn't that often." He spoke "I starved myself because I was tired of throwing it all up, I couldn't sleep at all because of the nightmares. I was slowly rotting away in a room, hiding myself away from the ridicule and hate that the world brought my way. So, I guess you could say, I did 'die', because what I did certainly wasn't 'living'." he finished, shutting his eyes as he felt a gentle gust of wind blow against his skin, imagining the wind taking his troubles with it.

Letting out a sigh Arthur opened his eyes; only to have the wind knocked out of him as someone tackled him into a hug, as he felt something… soft hug his right arm as he. Realizing what this soft sensation may be Arthur quickly opened his eyes and turned his head to see Ruby wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

As he was about to say something he felt another set of arms wrap around his head and pull him into another soft sensation, sending his eyes even wider open and his face turned red. He could her in the background a whistle from Yang who was watching Ruby wrapping her arms around Arthurs neck trying to reassure him, her eyes also widening with a grin as Pyrrha hugged Arthurs head into her bosom.

"Girl's love a tragic backstory don't they, Casanova?" she called out to Arthur, not getting a response as Arthurs mind was overloading at the current situation. Arthur, while his mind was overworking itself to understand his current situation slowly began to realize that Ruby and Pyrrha were trying to reassure him.

"Oh, mom is going to love this." Yang commented as she took out her scroll and took a picture of the scene.

"I'm going to love what?" Summer asked as she walked up to the group that was huddled around the tree. Yang didn't speak as she turned to her mother with a wide grin and pointed with her thumb towards the two girls who had wrapped Arthur in their embrace's "Ohhhh…" Summers eyes widened in realization as the same smirk as Yang's appeared on her face.

"He works fast, doesn't he?" Summer commented.

"Oh, yeah. He can't seem to keep his hands to himself can he?" Yang returned

"I can see that, two don't seem to be enough for him" the mother added

"You should have seen Weiss this morning, after her talk with Casanova last night she slept with the widest smile I had ever seen on her face." Yang told her mother. Weiss hearing this flushed slightly and coughed into her hand

"Oh, really? He's quite proficient… oh and let's not forgets Kardia, I have never seen her that interested in her 'research' ever" Summers added.

"Are-are they okay?" Jaune whispered to the leftover members of both teams.

"I do not know." Ren commented

"Oh oh oh! Did that really happen!" Nora shouted as she bounced up next to mother and daughter duo after hearing something interesting.

"Let's not forget about Blake, mom, you have got to read the things she has written in her notebook." Blake froze as her eyes darted to the Blonde brawler "My, god, she's writing a smut about Ar…"

"Shut it!" Blake screamed, jumping in front of Yang while forcing her hands atop her mouth in an effort to shut her up. Her face beet red as she saw the judging looks lock onto her sending a shiver down her spine.

"really now~" Summer sang sending an even bigger chill down Blake's spine. "I know a good publisher" Summer whispered into Blake's ear causing her eyes to go sharp and lock onto Summer who simply put up a thumb to her, causing Blake to slowly gain a wide toothy grin.

"Okay, now that is just creepy" Jaune commented, shivering at Blake's sudden emotion flip.

"Yeah, that is concerning." Ren added staring nervously at Nora who was casting him strange stares.

'Holyshithilyshitholyshit!' Arthur was chanting in his head, he felt his face burning as he tried to keep his mind off of the two soft sensations on his arm and head, specifically the on one his head 'Calm down Arthur, they mean nothing by it! it's just a friendly gesture! Yeah, that's it…' he argued in his head 'Though it is strangely calming…' he thought, shutting his eyes and letting the soft rhythmic sound of Pyrrha's heart fill his mind.

This didn't last long as he realized that he was hearing Pyrrha's heart… from her c.h.e.s.t 'Goddammit Arthur!' he screamed in his head as he began to try and figure out how to get out of this.

"Uh…" his voice was unsteady "G-girls?" he said aloud "P-please let go, this is, uh..." he asked his voice faltering.

Pyrrha was the first to realize what he meant by that as she stared down at him, her eyes locking with hers for a moment, seeing the bright red hue his face had taken on she quickly caught on to why his face had taken on a bright red hue as she realized she had pulled him into her c.h.e.s.t. Realizing this she quickly let go of Arthur and took a step back, her face turning to a serious expression as she forced her face to remain its usual colour, although successful a slight tinge of red could be seen on her cheeks.

Ruby on the other hand, knew full well what she was doing as she kept hugging Arthur for a few more seconds before letting him go and saying "then I guess you'll just have to live now." She said with a heart-warming smile.

Arthur's mouth hung slightly but he quickly closed it as a small smile came upon him as he responded "I guess I will" tilting his head slightly as he looked into Ruby's eyes. Before turning to look at Pyrrhawho quickly avoided his gaze "Pyrrha… thank you, I needed that." He said.

Pyrrha stilled her heart and gave Arthur a smile "We may have just met, but I will be here for you should you ever need any help, or someone to talk to." She said placing her hand above her heart while bowing her head slightly to him.

"Thank you" he said once again "To the both of you. Now…" His voice turned serious getting the attention of the two girls "Should we just leave them? I don't want to get involved in that…" he commented as Ruby and Pyrrha followed his eyeline to a group huddle of Yang, Summer, Nora and Blake as unnerving laughter could be heard coming from them, Ren and Jaune had heir backs to the three as they stared nervously at the huddle.

Pyrrha, Ruby and Arthur shared a glance before nodding quickly and standing up, Pyrrha sneaked up behind Ren and Jaune and tapped them on the shoulders to which they turned to her and saw her indicate for them to leave and placed her finger over her mouth to indicate 'Quietly'. Jaune and Ren took one last look at the four women and quickly turned around and followed the escapees.

Once they were far enough away Arthur spoke up "So, now that that's done. How long till our next lesson?" he asked.

"Ten minutes, we have to be back in the combat hall for team duel's" Ren answered.

"Aka, not me, Got it. I'll probably just be an observer then." Arthur said getting nods from the other's

"Nope" said a familiar voice from behind Arthur sending him jumping in surprise as he landed and saw it was Summer.

"Summer! Don't do that! You almost gave me a heart attack!" he w.h.i.n.ed as he patted his c.h.e.s.t trying to calm down "And what do you mean by 'Nope'?" He asked cautiously

"I have taken it upon myself to be your personal combat instructor" She proudly stated puffing out her c.h.e.s.t in the process.

"You're my what now?" Arthur stated incredulously

"I'm your personal combat instructor!" She once again stated

"I heard that, but why?" his voice not hiding his caution.

"Because you can't fight, and I don't want to see you injured. Again." She bluntly stated.

"I- …Can't argue with that" he wanted to retort but quickly found anything he would say could be picked apart easily "So what does that mean then? Am I now like your disciple? Please tell me I don't have to start calling you master. And is this even allowed?" he asked

"Well, it means just that, from now on I will be teaching you how to fight. I guess you are my disciple now, and if you call me master, I will skin you." Her threat being met with a rapidly nodded head from him while sweat permeated the others backs at the killing intent Summer leaked out at that moment.

"And yeah, I spoke with Oz about that during lunch. He gave me permission to alter your schedule. Apparently he expected that I would do that… I have no idea how he always seems to know, he just does, even before the thought comes to the persons mind." She explained murmuring the later part.

"Also, it does happen where Huntsmen or Huntresses will come into academy's searching for a protégée, normally they are the soon to retire type or they have been decommissioned due to some form of injury, and want to pass on their techniques to the next generation." She explained.

"That, makes a lot of sense, so when does the training start then?" Arthur asked

"Now, I'll start you off with normal muscle building exercise's for today and tomorrow we will spar so I can see everything that needs to be fixed or improved." She stated "Now Ruby, Yang, I love you both, but I will see you later, Bye!" she shouted as both she and Arthur disappeared into red and white petals.

Ruby and Yang remained silent as they stared off into the distance with pity on their faces.

"It was nice knowing you Arthur." Yang solemnly stated wiping a tear from her eyes.

Ruby remained silent as she stared at the slowly disappearing petals in concern as she remembered her own training with her mother, which more often than not led to her being unconscious by the end of it sending shivers down her spine in the process.

Seeing their expressions Jaune nervously asked "Will he be okay?"

"He should be?" Ruby answered

"You don't sound so sure of that." Jaune quickly pointed out.

"It's just, mom has a tendency of not letting up in her training, she's even more brutal than uncle Qrow, and he tossed Ruby into a forest filled with Beowolves and told her not to return until she had killed an Alpha." Yang explained

"T-that sounds as bad as it can get, Right?" he looked to the others, many of which nodded in affirmation while Ruby and Yang sighed.

"Mom, would toss you into the forest with your hands tied behind your back and told you to run until you passed out. We love her and all, but there's a reason we chose uncle Qrow over her when it came to training." Ruby explained as a solemn expression took over her while fear trickled through the minds of both teams.
