"Fairy!" Arthur screamed as he came upon the still burning orphanage, outside of which numerous children could be seen huddled up together all covered in ash and weeping as some of what Arthur assumed were caretakers in the orphanage were trying their best to calm them down, as they stared in shock and tears at the scene while more onlookers stood at the side all holding their heads in shock.

Arthur ran to the group and searched the huddled up children for Fairy "Come on, please don't be in there, please" he begged but not seeing her he turned to the nearest caretaker and grabbed her shoulders "Where is she!? Where is Fairy!? Where is Silky!?" he screamed

The caretaker didn't even have time to respond as two more people appeared behind Arthur, these being Coco and Velvet also staring in horror at the scene but quickly turning to Arthur who was looking into the flames with determination.

"Arthur, no" Coco said jumping in front of him, holding her hands up to stop him while Velvet went to the side of the caretakers and began to inspect any of the children for injuries while also keeping her eyes on Arthur.

Yet Arthur's determination was set and as a part of the orphanage collapsed distracting Coco enough that she turned around and covered her eyes to see if there was any potential danger that Arthur bolted past her and into the flames.

"Shit, Arthur!" Coco screamed turning to Velvet "Velvet get us an emergency evac for us and the children, I'm getting the idiot" she said before dashing into the flames to follow Arthur.

"Coco!" Velvet screamed

"Well, little miss, no more distractions" the man said as he kicked the body of a man to the side, the mans weapon falling just short of where he landed.

"Do you have any idea how much of a hassle it was to find you?" he said taking a step towards Silky who was clutching at her left leg, or what remained of it as everything bellow the halfway point of her t.h.i.g.h was missing, her body keeled over as her sight grew blurry from the blood loss.

"Nearly eighteen months I've had to search for you, do you know how much trouble that has caused for me? The master's trust in me is waning after my failure to exterminate your family, and I really can't be having that" the man said as he loomed over Silky as she collapsed onto her side gasping for air. "Honestly, I would just leave you like this; let you bleed out in say, five minutes? But you and your family have a tendency of not dying, so, please do say hello to the mistress for me will you?" he said as he pointed his finger at Silky as a light grey orb appeared at the tip of his finger.

"Goodbye, and good riddance" the man said as the orb grew larger before compressing back down and launching forward towards Silky.

Silky could only helplessly stare up at the blurry visage of the man in fear, her eyes beginning to burn as she strained them to stay open or that's what she reasoned in her delirium, yet her eyes kept burning even as she closed her eyes. Yet the burning kept getting more and more intense until just as the orb was about to hit her that her eyelids burst open and a white flame enveloped her eyes. Sending a wave of energy out in a circle around her, the energy dissolved the grey orb that was in it's path.

Until the circle of force was nearly a three meters in diameter around her that it then began to exude an unstable red and orange glow that quickly burst into the sky in an explosion, creating a pillar of fire while incinerating everything around her.

"The man, of course having felt the danger quickly jumped backwards before the flames could reach him, yet his reactions were too slow as the explosion crashed against his body sending him flying back and through the wall of the meeting room and into the hallway, his body buried in a pile of debris as fire enveloped the orphanage.

"Fairy! Come on! Fairy! Where are you!?" Arthur screamed as he made his way through the infernal flames, shielding his eyes from the blinding glow of the orange flames surrounding him.

"Arthur! We need to go!" Coco screamed her throat now hoarse and dry from the heat.

"Go then! I'm not leaving without her!" Arthur retorted as he rammed his body against a still standing door, now charred from the flames surrounding it but luckily having not caught flame just yet.

Just as his body impacted the door it fell from its hinges sending him and the door to the ground. Yet Arthur didn't let it faze him as he quickly stood back up and looked through the room which looked to be the epicentre of the explosion judging by how everything was thrown against the walls as well as a large hole in the wall which lead into the hall way that Arthur had come in from, the hall having been blocked by smouldering debris leaving this as his only other path.

Arthur's eyes eventually locked onto the body which he recognized as Jazz, except her body badly burnt from the flames, making her almost unrecognizable as only her back was badly damaged leaving her front only mildly burnt, yet, none of this was what Arthur locked onto, the first thing he saw was a bright red pool of blood surrounding her head where he could see a hole the diameter of a coin going through her temple.

"Dammit… where are you?" he muttered as he ignored the dead body of Jazz and kept looking around the room his eyes locking an a small charred foot peeking through some of the fallen debris "Fairy!" he screamed running to the debris and beginning to dig through the charred wood, ignoring the agonizing feeling of the flesh on his hands burning off him, his efforts only proving fruitless as what he found was not Fairy, but her disembodied and charred leg.

"Arthur! Over here! Coco screamed, as another crack resounded throughout the building sending a flaming beam falling towards her, where she quickly rolled out of the way of, then running a bit more to the side to avoid the small debris it sent out around it.

Arthur quickly looked up to where Coco was, his eyes immediately locking onto a small purple clad figure laying amongst a small crater at the edge of the room. Arthur immediately shot up and began to run towards the purple figure, stumbling over himself due to him not keeping track of where he was stepping.

Yet, just as he had gotten halfway to her he saw the debris from the hole in the wall begin to shift as a figure stood up from the debris and walk a few feet forward once he was free from the debris.

"Ahhh…" the man g.r.o.a.n.e.d "A miscalculation, I should have expected her to be the new maiden…" he sighed, cracking his neck, his eye's locking with Arthur's as he looked around the flame filled room, his eyes opening in surprise for a moment which was soon replaced with a slasher smile.

"Why, hello there! You're the boy the little miss was with this morning" he said with a venomous tone, "You should have just left her alone, now you have to die" he said lifting his hand and pointing his finger at Arthur, holding them as if they were a gun, a grey orb appearing at the tip of his fingers which was quickly shot out to Arthur, who quickly rolled to the side, avoiding the grey bullet.

"You! You're the one who did this!?" Arthur screamed

"Hmm? Oh, nonono, that honour goes to the little cur behind you she just had to awaken her powers before I could finally rid this world of her." The man sighed as he swung his cane around in circles.

"Arthur, she's not doing well!" Coco said, as she kneeled next to Fairy's unconscious body, having ripped off the sleeves of her blouse and using them to make a field tourniquet as well as to cover the stump of her leg.

Arthur didn't react to her, his eyes instead locked on the man standing across the room from them his expression turning more fierce and angry by the moment, his hair and eyes slowly turning black as he grew more furious.

"She's a child" Arthur screamed as he willed Cross to awaken, transforming his right arm into a giant black claw.

"Hmm? Interesting…" the man whispered as a small glint appeared in his eyes.

"What the…" Coco muttered her actions stopping as she stared at the sight of Arthur with an oversized claw for an arm that was nearly as tall as him.

"Why do this to her!?" Arthur screamed as he charged at the man slashing cross down, diagonally over the man, yet his claws didn't meet flesh and were instead met with a metallic 'Clang!' as the man had blocked Cross using his cane, not even stumbling in response to the force.

Letting out a disappointed sigh the man said "Haaa… It seems that this weapon of yours packs no punch, how disappointing. And to answer your question, because, I was tasked to, she and her family are a threat to my master, therefore, I am here to exterminate her once and for all." He explained "And now you and your little girlfriend there are on the list, can't be having you go, now that you've seen my face" he smirked as he pointed his free hand at Arthur "Now please, would you kindly just perish so I can deal with the little miss?" And fired off another aura bullet at Arthurs stomache, which threw him backwards and into the air.

As he flew backwards Arthur threw the claws of Cross into the ground, using them to stop his momentum, eventually ending with him kneeling on the ground, blood dripping onto the ground from the new hole in his stomach, his now pure black hair hanging over his face as he stared at the ground.

"Ah! Your still alive it seems" the man commented "Interesting, normally that kills them outright" he murmured "Well, either way" he pointed at Arthur once again, converging a new aura bullet at the end of it, but he didn't fire as his eyes widened at the peculiar sight of a dark mist exuding from Arthur's body, while the small pool of red blood turned pitch black and began to steam as well.

Arthur pushed himself up from the ground until her was standing, his body still hunched over as cross laid against the ground while his left arm dangled in the air, at the same time the dark mist that was exuded from Arthur rapidly burst out in every direction around him, turning every flame it touched into a strange black colour that let off a white glow instead of the regular orange that was associated with fire.

Both Coco and the man looked around at the flames, Coco in awe while the man was intrigued as to what else Arthur had up his sleeves.

Outside the orphanage everyone stood in awe at the sudden change of the fire as it changed from the infernal red and orange flames into fire as dark as the abyss, yet these flames also lit the area around it in white, the sky also clearing up as these strange flames didn't seem to create smoke.

"Coco… Arthur…" Velvet muttered "Please be okay…"
