Following the excited voice of Ruby, Arthur eventually came to the stairwell that was right next to the kitchen if what he remembered from the show was correct. Stiffly walking down the stairs while clutching the hand rail he made his way to the ground floor and continued towards what he assumed was the lounge, mentally noting that the house was bigger than he remembered from the show.

Once he got to the lounge he saw Ruby bouncing around as she recited her fight with Torchwick to Summer and Taiyang. Leaning against the door frame he stared at Rubys excited expression as she got to the part where Ozpin had offered for her to come to Beacon two years early.

Deciding to speak up Arthur fake coughed, causing Ruby to freeze as he said "Looks like someone had a fun night" As Ruby mechanically turned towards him with a smile that scared him, especially when she took out Crescent Rose and revealing her in all its glory. "You saw nothing." She said. "I saw nothing" Arthur said complying with Rubys blatant demand which caused both Summer and Taiyang to laugh. Once Ruby was satisfied she returned Crescent Rose to her hip and asked "Shouldn't you be resting?"

To which Arthur responded "Probably, but my wounds should be mostly healed by now as Summer had unlocked my Aura this morning, though I am still a little stiff everywhere." Getting a wide smile from Ruby. "You must be Taiyang, as I'm sure you already know I am Arthur Fielder. I thank you for your assistance during my time of need" Arthur said as he bowed at a fifteen degree angle to show his thanks. During his three years with Ashe, she had forced Arthur to learn about etiquette from her homelands of Japan and would always berate him if he ever refused to show proper respect to anyone.

Standing up Taiyang walked up to Arthur and looked him directly in his white eyes causing sweat to drip down his back even more than when Ruby brought out Crescent Rose. "Hmm… You seem like a good kid. It's good that your back on your feet. Any plans for after your healed fully?"

Arthur had to think for a moment before shaking his head and saying "I don't really have any plans, I was exiled from my home and have just sort of been wandering" His words sending a small tremor through Rubys body when she heard he was exiled, but decided to not ask about it.

Taiyang was about to make a comment but was interrupted when someone knocked on the front door. "I'll get it" Ruby said as she disappeared into a flurry of red petals. The front door could be heard opening and Ruby saying "Professor, Ozpin? What are you doing here?" confusedly.

"Ah, Ruby, hello again. I am here for your mother, she asked if I could come over and inspect something, she said it was urgent." Ozpin said as Summer appeared behind Ruby with a smile on her face. "Hey Oz come in. Let's get straight to it." Summer said as she led Ozpin and Ruby back towards the lounge where Taiyang and Arthur had begun to chat.

Entering the living room Summer led Ozpin towards Arthur and introduced the two. "Arthur, this is Ozpin. He is the headmaster of Beacon Academy. And Ozpin, this is Arthur Fielder. I found him unconscious in the forest yesterday after he decimated a pack of Beowolfs"

"Hello" Arthur said as he stood up and did bow at forty-five degrees to show his respect.

"Good day…" Ozpin said as he squinted his eyes as he began to analyse Arthur. As he asked Summer "Is he what you wanted me to inspect?" getting a nod from Summer as she began to explain. "Yeah, there are two reasons actually. The first is his aura, Arthur could you try to show your aura please" She requested getting a small nod from Arthur as he closed his eyes and began to try and manifest his aura, but with his new found 'Aura Control' skill he was capable doing it within a few seconds which surprised Summer as she had just unlocked it this morning.

Arthurs body began to glow both black and white that had intermingled but not combined as it wrapped around his body. Seeing this Ozpins eyes squinted even more as he muttered "I see… and what was this other thing you wanted to show me?" he said as both he and Arthur turned to look at Summer. "Arthur, show him your arm" She said getting a small sigh from Arthur as he began to roll his right sleeve up, showing his course red arm where his Innocence was before holding it up towards Ozpin as he also got a worried stare from Ruby and Taiyang didn't seem to react, probably because he had seen it while helping Summer tend to his wounds.

Ozpin inspected his arm, particularly around the 4 small green gems on the back of Arthurs hand "It is certainly an unusual malady, but I do not believe that is what you wanted to show me" He said as Summer turned to Arthur and gave him a nod, getting one in return from Arthur as he started the process of awakening the Innocence.

The moment Arthur had gotten confirmation to go ahead, his arm began to glow slightly as it transformed into its awakened state surprising both Ruby and Taiyang who jumped backwards in surprise as Ozpin stood still just staring at the large, black arm with five menacing claws on it. "Now you see why I wanted you here?" Summer asked.

"Yes… I see, I can also predict why this was so urgent." Ozpin replied as Arthur changed the cross back into its dormant state. "Young man, I do not wish to mince words, would you like to come to my school?" Ozpin asked as Arthur froze at his question and looked at him dumfounded as his assumption had been confirmed.

"Can I? I haven't even gone to any combat school." Arthur asked not hiding the excitement on his face. "I don't see why not. You were capable of dealing with a pack of Beowolfs on your own from what I've heard, even if it does seem you were wounded, and quite heavily at that." His words making Arthur grimace as he placed a hand on his side where he had opened his wound the previous night. "But that is something that can be fixed with training. So, do you accept?"

It barely took Arthur a second before he blurted out "Yes!" before covering his mouth and blushing slightly as he coughed and calmed himself down before saying "Yes, I would be honoured to attend Beacon" and bowed in thanks.

"Did, that just happen?" Arthur asked as he watched Ozpin walking away from the Rose/Xiao-Long house.

"That's great!" Ruby shouted, loud enough to cause both Taiyang and Arthur to wince in recoil "Now I will have a friend in Beacon!" She said, bouncing up and down. To which Arthur responded "Isn't your sister going to Beacon?"

"Yeah, but that's not the same." She added as Summer then said, "well anyways. You two should get some rest for tomorrow, the bullhead leaves at twelve tomorrow." Complying Ruby disappeared leaving Petals in her wake as Arthur began to ask Summer "About that, I doubt my clothing is usable after yesterday…"

"That's fine, you can use some of Tais old clothing, and Ruby can take you shopping for clothes after you both are settled in at Beacon" Summer said getting a nod from Arthur. Who then headed towards the room he had been staying in for the past two days and soon fell asleep.

"Oh, I can't believe my baby sister is going to Beacon with me! This is the best day ever!" Shouted the bonde bombshell known as Yang Xiao Long as she hugged her little sister who was gasping for air muttering "Please stop."

"But I'm so proud of you!" Yang continued completely ignoring Arthur who was watching the familiar scene of Yang and Rubys conversation about 'Bee's Knees' and 'Normal Knees' from the window next to the two girls. "Of course I'm excited… I just… 'sigh' I got moved ahead two years. I don't want people to think I'm special or anything." Ruby said while looking downtrodden as her sister gave her a one armed hug and said "But you are special." Before their attention was brought to the screen with the newscast on it showing a mug shot of Roman Torchwick on it before cutting off to show a hologram of Glynda Goodwitch.

"Hello, and welcome to Beacon!" Glynda's hologram said while Yang aske "Who's that?" But was quickly answered when Glynda's hologram introduced herself. Getting a small "Oh" from Yang before the hologram continued with the familiar introduction speech from the show.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Arthur asked as he stared out the window in his mismatched assemblage of clothing that he had borrowed from Taiyang until he could get his own. "You can even see Patch from up here" he stated, getting both Ruby and Yangs attention. Ruby commenting "I guss home isn't too far after all!"

Getting a small smile from Arthur as he said "We'll be living at Beacon for a while Ruby. That's our home for now." He then noticed the figure of Jaune on the verge of puking. "You may want to move a bit to your right, he looks like he's about to throw up. And personally I wouldn't want to be in the splash zone." His eyes following Jaune. Yang successfully dodging the splash of vomit that almost landed on her shoe.

Once she was out of the danger zone Yang turned back to Arthur and said "Thanks for the warning. Now, who are you and how do you know my sister. I know all of her friends… you, are not one of them" cracking her knuckles, sending a shiver down Arthurs back as he turned to Ruby with a pleading gaze, asking her to save him from his impending doom.

Ruby not noticing his gaze as she jumped in front of Yang with her arms up blocking Yang from proceeding as she yelled "Stop!" This of course had a different effect than what Ruby intended as a mischievous smirk appeared on Yang's face as she commented "Oh hoho, Rubys protecting a boy~ how sweet~" Causing a blush to appear on both Rubys and Arthurs face.

"Wha!? No, wait waitwait! It's not like that!" Ruby said in panic only causing Yangs smile to widen as her gaze towards Arthur only hardened even further.

Coughing lightly Arthur decided he would help Ruby by explaining what had happened the last two days. "Ahem. Before this gets anymore awkward for us, let me just say I met Ruby yesterday. When Summer saved me from dying, and let me rest in the guest bedroom until I was healed. Ruby helped change some of the bandages when I accidentally opened one of my wounds." Arthur explained as succinctly as he could.

"Uhhuh…" Yang muttered her gaze still sending shivers down Arthur's spine. But this alleviated when Yangs gaze softened as her malicious grin turned more chipper as she held her right hand out for a handshake with Arthur obliging by raising his own right hand that was covered in a brown glove, only to quickly regret it as Yang clenched down, Hard, on his hand as she pulled him close to her and whispered to him "You hurt Ruby, and I will END you" before releasing him as he clutched his hand in pain as he frantically nodded, Ruby not really reacting apart from an exasperated sigh as she began to introduce them to each other.

"Yang, this is Arthur. Arthur, this is Yang. Don't mind her, she won't actually kill you… I hope…"
