Hunter stood up, "Well, we should get going, or your father will start sending his men after us."

Kyle growled as he got up, "I wish he wouldn't, besides he is more worried about you rebounding and joining the Faremin forces with a new alias."

Hunter laughs softly, "I don't think that would happen, but who knows. I am unsure what to do?" Kyle touched his shoulder before they headed back to the house.

They walked up to the door; Kyle reached for the handle when his father's voice caught his attention. He could hear he was talking to someone on the other side but could not place who it was. Hunter stared at him, seeing Kyles' face stiff. Hunter knew that Kyle was trying to listen to what was going on. He moved away from the door waiting for Kyle to open the door.

Kyle leaned against the door, trying to hear who his father was talking to. "Kora, are you sure to send them there?"

"Yes, I am sure, Gotama. I wish for you to meet Lovell and see for yourself." Kyle could tell it was a woman's voice but did not recognize her.

"When are they leaving?" Gotama's voice strained.

"They leave in a week, and it should take them about ten to eleven weeks. So, you have time to gather what you need and more."

"Very well, I will get ready to see him. I have wanted to see how that pup was doing since the last we met." Kyle headed his father walking towards the door. Kyle pulled away as his father opened the door. Gotama stared at Kyle, then turned to Hunter. "So, you two have returned already?"

Kyle stared at him, "Father, who were you talking to?"

Gotama sighed as he walked back in. "Both of you follow me, I am going to tell you what my—no, that woman had to say." Hunter looked at Kyle as he knew that something was up, but Kyle did not respond as they walked in. Gotama walked into the kitchen and began to make dinner. "That woman I was talking to, contacted me by a whim. She is known as Kora or Kana from time to time and is Lovell's grandmother. The last true Krisnik."

Hunter raised his brow, "Why does she have two names?"

"Because of her full name being Kora Kana Krisnik, and people either call her by her first or middle name."

Kyle sat at the table, he looked at his father, "So, why does Lovell have the last name of his grandmother over his Father's?"

Gotama places a lid over a pot. "Well, Terrance used to go by his mother's before—well you know—and that's what stuck with Lovell when he was born. To his parents, it just felt right since he was a theyan."

Hunter grabbed a chair and sat opposite of Kyle, "So what is Terrance's real last name?"

Gotama stared at Hunter, "Many think it is Wild or Wolf, but it's really Lupin."

Kyle leaned forward. "Really? That's weird, then who is Lord Demora then?"

Gotama turned away, "I never met the real Terrance Lupin the first, but Kora did, and she found out he was a farmer that had some grudge against Lunatica. I don't know the details, but she somehow was able to see that side of him and took pity. Her partner died shortly after losing her first and only child with him. She felt the same, and that's how they connected and had Terrance."

Hunter stared in shock, "So he was a nobody that has lived over six million years!? How the hell did he survive that long?"

Kyle stared at his father and saw his face stiffen, "Its whenever Lunatica's reincarnation was killed, he did something to stop himself from ageing? Am I right?"

Gotama nodded, "Yes, he was able to cast some sort of spell that takes her life force from her every time she is killed. So, in theory, if she were to live to old age and die, his fountain of youth would end."

"So, that's how, how deplorable." Kyle turned away at the thought.

Hunter looked at his hands, "Yet, out of all those years, no one was able to stop him?"

Gotama sat down with them, "Yes, Demora founded the kingdom about two thousand years ago, after he decided to build an army of followers, to do the killings for him and find Lunatica's reincarnations. He was originally over those years prior, a hermit."

Kyle got up to take care of the food, Hunter swallowed hard as he stared at Gotama, "So, in a sense, Demora formed the Faremin kingdom as a kingdom of assassins?"

Gotama nodded, "Yes, at first, then as then he grew greedier and more wanted more. Yet with each killing of Lunatica, the world became more and sicker."

"How?" Hunter felt a chill run down his body, unsure what he was going to hear.

"Well, the souls of those who have died are unable to return to the spirit realm or world. In results, the spirits here are dying or try to force reincarnate, which results in children dying young or never taking their first breath." Hunter's eyes filled with horror as he sat staring at Gotama. "The world's population is dropping by ten to thirty percent ever ten years, but somehow the Faremin people are not affected."

"So, when did this all start? The whole children dying thing, I mean?"

Gotama looked over to Kyle, "About the same time as the founding of the kingdom, I am not sure of the details but the tree of spirits, or the Sevren tree, found in a remote village, was damaged by Demora when he found out how it related to Lunatica and her powers." Gotama shook his head. "Yet, I don't know why Faremin are not affected; my theory is that he bound a part of himself to the tree or used a spell to bend it to his will."

Hunter leaned back, crossing his arms, "How does this Sevren tree work to pass spirits back and forth from our world to the spirit world?"

Gotama got up and pulled a calendar out, "Look here at this date." He pointed to the date, Lark ninth, "Notice that the moons on this date are both full."

Hunter leaned over to see, "Yeah, what's so special about the moons both being full on the same day?"

Gotama stared at Hunter, "It the only days within any given time throughout the world where the gates to the spirit world are said to open."

Hunter whipped his head at Gotama. Kyle stepped between them, placing the food on the table. "Dinners ready."

Gotama looked at Kyle, "Thanks Kyle, but anyway, the moons seem to inline themselves with this tree from the east, the tree only blooms at that time as well. It is said that you can see the tree open up at the base, and that's where the gate to the spirit realm lies. So, the day when this happens is called Lunar Life. Which was associated with Lunatica as she used to appear there to help guide the spirits over."

Kyle stared at Hunter as his eyes lite up, he smiled at his friend. "Hunter, you are like a child right now. Fascinated by the littlest things."
