Lance looked around; the castle felt alien as he walked the halls. He stopped in front of a painting of Gale, he looked about twelve or fifteen. Lance felt a hand on his shoulder and turned around to see a soldier. The soldier was part of the same platoon he once was a part of.

"Sir, you need to return to the designated area for visitors!" The young man ordered.

Lance smiled, "Sorry it just has been a while since I have walked these halls with Gale before—"

"You shall respect Prince Gale commoner!" The soldier raised his spear at Lance.

Lance stared at the weapon before taking a deep breath, then standing in attention. "What are you doing grunt! This isn't the place to raise your weapon to your superior! DO you know who I am grunt?"

Lance's voice didn't faze the soldier, "No and I don't—"

"I am Lance Pendragon, Son of Eledon Pendragon!"

The soldier froze as he noticed Lance looked similar to Eledon. HE began to shack as Lance sighed before walking away. Leaving the young man to question his actions.

Eledon looked over at form the corner as he watched his son. He smiled as he could see a change within showing his determination. Yet Eledon also noticed Lance's insecurities rising.

Lance walked down the halls before coming across the garden. He walked in and knelt down beside the Sehena; its white petals glistened as he looked over the flower. Remembering how Lovell felt when he first saw the plant tears began to stream down his face. His walls breaking down before falling to all four. Lance howled out as he wished that everything would change back to the way it was.

Scarlett could hear him as she turned away, tears began to well within her as she knew why Lance was crying. She saw him before the flower of honoring one's life before him and knew that he was thinking of Lovell. She held one in her hand, with a marigold beside it. They looked alike where the only difference was the color.

The king walked over to see her standing off to the side. "Young Scarlett what seems to be—" He looked over to Lance wailing, his eyes dipped. "I see, tell me what happened. Eledon never told me and said that either Lance or my son would one day come to tell me?"

Scarlett turned to watch Lance. "Well, sire, to put it in the short run, Lovell was killed and your son—well—I have no idea where he went but as you can see, we are still mourning Lovells early passing."

Scarlett's eye grew dark as she closed them. The king touched her shoulder as she began to let go of her emotions. The king could only watch as they need to let this out of their systems. A maid walked over, and the king asked her to walk Scarlett to her room. The maid obliged as she guided Scarlett. The king then sighed before walking over to Lance.

Lance had calmed down, even if it was a little. Before he noticed the King. Lance went to rise when the king raised his hand. Stopping Lance in his tracks.

"Lance, I know you are going through a rough time and please understand that things are not always going to be like this." The king sat down beside him on the ground.

Lance sat himself up, wiping the tears way, "I am, sorry about me being a mess, Logan, but there was so much being bottled up as me and the other Ren-Ky's just abandoned Lunatica. Especially since when we should be helping her during these times."

Logan pulled Lance into him, as if he were his own. "Lance, I think that right now all of you need time alone. Besides losing a friend is hard especially when—"

"You don't understand!" Lance began to scream, "We betrayed Lovell, we turned our back away form him when we found out about him getting darkness fever and when it took over him, we did nothing to help! Me, Gale, and the others did nothing while Luna tried to bring him back! I turned my back on a friend! It…it wasn't until me and Scarlett found out he was able destroy it and when we met with Hunter, Kyle and two others. Lovell helped one of them with the same problem. Freeing that man from the curse."

Logan stared at Lance as he let him vent. "Lance let me tell you something—no—a story about your father and I." Lance looked up at him. "When you father and I were not mush older than you and Gale, we did some…questionable things, one beginning fighting over your mother."

Lance blinked away his tears. "Wait you and my father fought? Over my mother?"

Logan smiled as he nodded, "Yes, we got into silly fights, but we had another friend, his name was Hans. Hans never loved your mother but laughed whenever we got in a fight. He was a true friend when it mattered. One day we went to an old building outside the city wall and your father ran the stairs. I was not far behind him when Hans screamed out. I had turned to see what he was trying to say but then Eledon fell threw the floor. Hans ran past me and was able to save him."

Lance stared at Logan as he saw his eyes grow dark. "what happened next?"

Logan looked up at the sky, "Well, after he save your father your mother found a stone. And it began to glow. Hans pushed you father off and grabbed the stone. Hans burst into flames as he yelled for us to get out. The stone we latter found out was a bust stone used by the Faremin kingdom in its early days. We lost our friend to that stone and your father and I felt guilty. The house burnt down with Hans within. He body was never found as everyone felt that he had become nothing but ashes."

Lance looked away as he could feel the pain. "Oh, I see…"

Lagan smiled, "It took us years to recover and my father told me I was to marry my current wife. Eledon and your mother, Kaida, married your father in hopes to fill that void Hans left."

Lance stood up as he turned to Logan, "Thank you for telling me this, maybe we can do this, but I think Scarlett and I need to work on something before we leave. Like I need to be retrained how to fight. So that I can fight both one Whirlwind and in the air with my wings."

Logan smiled, "Very well then, as for Scarlett, she will have to learn more about using that whip of hers for more than just fighting. It can be especially useful outside of battle as well."

Lance raised his brow. "What do you mean?"

Logan pulled out a whip, and with a flick of his wrist he grabbed a glass of wine from the gazebo. Lance stared at the glass as none of the wine spilt. Logan could see lance stare in awe.

"Like I said there is much more to using a whip."

Lance smiled. "I think Scarlett is going to use this tick to do more than grab a glass of wine."

Logan laughed as they sat there, enjoying the afternoon.
