Am I A Demon? Or Am I A God?

As Naruto exited his mindspace he was greeted by the sight of his group of 5 all on a wagon, in the middle of the forest "How long was I out?" Naruto squeezed out as he sat up stretching. "Four days.." Haku said from across from him on the wagon. "What happened to you Naruto-san?" Naruto flinched when he heard the time but regained himself. "I just had some chakra exhaustion is all." Kakashi piped in from the side "We understand Naruto, it was JUST some chakra exhaustion after all." He said sarcastically with his shit eating grin. "We are on our way back to Konoha, with all of us helping we managed to finish the bridge early, so we rented a carriage to take us back since we couldn't carry you the whole way." He continued. Naruto nodded at this before asked Kakashi "Have you heard of any cities in the tops of mountains with winged humans living up there?" Kakashi sweatdropped "Did you have a dream about it?" Naruto just waved him off and went back to thinking. 'I have some things to discuss with our dearest Hokage-sama.'

For most of the trip practiced his meditating for the third section of the Yin-Yang manual, it did not state what to meditate for other than to 'feel' his heart and soul. After two days of meditating and conversing and getting advice from Shinko, he had begun to feel as if there was another energy inside him other than Chakra, but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't move or see it. While he was in the middle of one of his meditation sessions, they reached the outskirts of Konoha. Naruto turned to Haku and Zabuza and told them, "I need you two to go and stay in the town a little ways away from here to the east, I'll talk to the old man about this." Haku and Zabuza nodded and began walking to the village about two miles from Konohagakure.

After the group entered the Hokage's office, Kakashi repeated the events of what happened, minus Haku and Zabuza being just outside the village. Once the report was filled and Hiruzen changed the mission to a B rank and the pay was put in our accounts, he dismissed us, however, I stayed behind.

"Is there something I can do for you Naruto?" he asked with a smile. With the memories of the man from Naruto's memories I can't say I dislike him, but the absolute lack of telling anything or helping a child that was beaten denied food and clothes, and scorned and did nothing to stop it, upset me greatly. "Old man, I want to ask you something, but it needs to be in private, not even ANBU." Hiruzen raised his eyebrows at my words but tapped his desk and then I felt the stares on me disappear. Hiruzen looked at me and asked, "What is it, Naruto?"

"Why did you never tell me my father was the Yondaime Hokage, Minato Namikaze and that my mother was Kushina Uzumaki, the red death? Don't you think that was some pretty important information? I lived in an orphanage where the caretakers didn't feed me, I lived wearing the same damn clothes for years, I only had one restaurant in the entire city that would feed me and price the food fairly, I had you, Jiraiya, and Kakashi who could have helped me. But none of you did! You let me live like a dog for years and only said something when you saw it in person even though you KNEW I was being treated like shit! Why? Why did you hide all this from me?! For thirteen f.u.c.k.i.n.g years!?" Naruto was breathing heavily at this point. He didn't know why he had said such things, but he assumed it was due to merging with this body and its memories. They were just as much his memories after all.

Hiruzen dropped his pipe and quickly put out the small fire it started on his stack of papers as he looked into Naruto's eyes and then back at the table before sighing and saying, "Naruto. I wanted to tell you, so many times, but I thought that it would have been a better idea to tell you once you were grown, after all, your dream was to make everyone accept you and if you knew that you were the sone of a Hokage, you might lose your drive to succeed." Naruto looked into the eyes of the God of Shinobi as he began talking. "I don't forgive you, but I won't hold it against you. While that explanation seems really stupid, I can see where you come from though. Your plan depended on the fact of me not knowing who my parents were, but that backfired on you. I talked with my father while in the Wave Country. He had sealed part of himself along with the Yin part of the Kyuubi into me."

Hiruzen opened his eyes wide as he said "So is he able to-" Naruto interrupted him and said, "The main portion of his soul was consumed by the shinigami. However, I had an idea that may be able to revive him and maybe my mother." Hiruzen sighed at this, but when he heard there might be a way he quickly regained some hope "Can you tell me how?" He asked Naruto. Naruto just laughed and then said, "I can tell you, but you have to do something for me." Hiruzen nodded and Naruto continued "When I was in the wave country, we ran into Zabuza and Haku, during our stay, I managed to convince them to leave Gato and they came with us back. I want to keep them with me, is there any way to do this?" Hiruzen took a puff out of his pipe as he thought for a minute before responding. "There is one way to do this, but it is only available to clan heads, and if the person they have given asylum to does anything, it reflects onto the clan head." He stated. Naruto sighed as he mumbled "Well that's great... What about the Namikaze or Uzumaki clans? Arent I technically the clan head of them?" He asked and Hiruzen was quick to respond. "Technically, no, since your father or mother never publicly declared you the successor. However, there is a way to circ.u.mnavigate this, are you familiar with the CRA?" Naruto shook his head. "Well, Naruto, the CRA or more commonly known as the Clan Restoration Act is what happens if a clan is wiped out to the last male member. That man is then proclaimed the clan head and is required to have 4-15 women to help recreate the clan's bloodline or just members. This is only available to important clans, however, and in this case, it would be the Uzumaki clan."

Naruto was surprised by this, he had never heard about this from the show, must be more of the differences he had noticed. "So basically the only way to do this is to agree to become a breeding horse?" Naruto said incredulously. Hiruzen choked a bit and held back a laugh at the wording. "Y-yes, I have a feeling once I announce to the Shinobi and Civilian council you are the Yondaime Hokage's son, they will be jumping to send you marriage offers." Naruto just sighed at this, he was a young man like anyone else, and he wasn't opposed to having multiple women, but he didn't want it to be just a fake love, a woman forced to marry him because of his father. "Old man, I'll agree to the CRA act but on the condition, the marriage offers are for me to review and accept or deny," Naruto stated firmly. The Hokage got up and walked over to Naruto and surprisingly hugged him and said: "Naruto, I'm sorry about the pain I caused you all your life, I promise to you now, I won't let you suffer anymore." Naruto was surprised, to say the least, this was like all the times his father would hug him after he got back home from work. Naruto just let his surrogate grandfather hug him as he reminisced about his family he left behind on earth.
