Am I Goddess Or What?

As the ship traveled around next corner some of the sailors surrounded him and stared with ferocious light in their eyes. They knew all that he had to have some kind of treasure on him ,if he wanted to go away so fast from that city.

Vance stood there without moving, staring at the captain.

''I am sure you know why I'm on this ship.But the things I have on me is nothing to the thing I left in the next harbor.I think you will be glad that you took me with you.''he said with sheep smile and the confidence.

The captain wrinkled his eyebrows and taught about it.'I can kill this fool after he gives me the other thing.I wonder what is so important that he would exchange for the seeds...'

They started smiling to each other as the sailors realized that he was fully accepted by their captain on the ship to the next harbor.As they turned their heads around they took a look at the harbor that was vanishing from their sight.

Suddenly captain remembered something and looked at Vance.

''What is your name and where do you live?''he asked while wondering does he has 'it'...I wonder what the hell is 'it'!

''I am Vance and am from far away country but I currently live in the other harbor.I am inviting you to come to my home.''He said with smile.Then he turned around and got silent.

Captain seemed not to take it to the heart and went back to the cabin.'If he has that think I surely can overthrow the Lord and get the whole island in my hands.I will make it mine...'

Vance turned around and looked at the door of the captain's cabin.'What a fool.Does he think that the Lord is powerless?If he was weak I would have already used 'it'and would have taken the island myself.Truly moron...'

I started to get agitated.What is 'it'that made both of them bet on it.The one bet the seeds and the other bet his own life on it.I guess I will know it soon.

As the sh.i.p.s didn't have yet any kind of motors, they had to count on the wind to be faster or slower.But by the evening we already arrived at a new destination.

As the ship approached the docks I could already see a great difference between that and this place. Everything was different.On dock, we could see a bunch of kids in rags begging for peace of bread.As the ship docked safely they started kicking those poor kids to make way for their goods to be taken off.

Vance left the ship together with the captain and few sailors.The captain was skeptical about Vance and Vance didn't care did he take sailors with him or not. If he attacks him in his own house he will get death penalty as in that time killing someone will end you die yourself.

I didn't care much if they killed each other if I could just sate my curiosity of what the hell is 'it'.

The captain,the sailors and Vance took carriages to Vance's estate.I guess Vance seems to be quite wealthy as this house seemed to good for Governor and not just simple trader.As a matter of fact, Vance bought it from the Governor when he build himself a newer and bigger palace.

As I floated around them I noticed that Vance had taken out the few seeds he hid under his shirt.The seeds didn't seem to be much but when I looked closer I realized they were oddly familiar.I didn't look what he stole when he killed mr.Stone so now I am wondering what these are.

''What are these?''as the captain approached and took one of the seeds in his hand.

''Don't crush them.Those are strawberry seeds.The strawberry was the size of the carriage we took before.'' he said while carefully picking up one seed after other and putting them into separate papers one by one.

The captain stared at the seed with greed in his eyes.He looked as Vince opened his safe and stored them in one of the boxes.Then he took one large box out of the safe and put on the table while turning around and locked the safe properly.

''Mr.Vance is this thing what I think it is?''asked captain with anticipation.

''I do not know what you think but this is a weapon that many want to have.My people stole it from the warrior guild of the Atlantes.This seems to be the newest weapon they invented.It is quite strong and as I am a trader, not warrior I do not know its functions.I wanted to sell it , but you saved my life so I will give it as a present of my gratitude.''he said while opening the cloth that the weapon was in.

I felt my head buzzing.Daaamn.This thing would cause WW3 to end in 10 min.It seemed to be some kind of laser weapon, but I could bet I could feel that prickly feeling around me like when i saw the energy sphere.Did they make something that even my world didn't come up with?Thanks all Gods that exist out there.This kind of weapon in my time...Horrifying.

Captain took weapon in his hands and looked at it from all sides.Then he turned his eyes at Vance.

''Sorry.Don't look at me.I really don't know how to use it.''he said with as it seems as regret on his face.But deep down he knew how to use it but if those crazy people from the Atlantis found this thing with him,he could be used as a testing subject for their crazy experiments.''Take it with you. Maybe you could find some outlaws who would explain to you how to use it.But now let's drink a bit. I will ask the kitchen to prepare some nice food for all of you.''

''No thank you.We really have to go now.We need to go back to the harbor to get some dried food for other harbors.Thank you for inviting us.Maybe some other time.'' he said while hurriedly greeted Vance and leaving with the stunned soldiers.

As they sat on the carriages separated from captain they couldn't ask him anything at all on the way to the harbor.As he went out with the package in his arms and crazy look on his face, they didn't dare to ask anything. Usually when their captain has that look something bad will happen to someone.

They set off to go back , even as it was already dark.It was not the season of strong winds so it was safe to travel at night.By the morning they will be already in the harbor of the main city.

Close to the morning, we neared the volcano island.My Little Heaven.The captain stayed all night looking at the weapon and it seems he knew how to handle few things.But he needed a way to try it out.This dude seems to be really intelligent with some things.Not overall tho.

He saw the island and told the crew to get the ship near as he wanted to try it out.I hoped that this fool was not the reason why the island is missing half of it.

He turned the weapon slowly on and pressed the button on the underside like he knew how to use it. 'I think its this way as it seems to fit in arms...and fingers seem to fit here''he mumbled as he positioned the weapon toward the island.

As the first shot went out we got surprised not by the noise of the weapon as my world has it,nooooo... this one is silent,but the impact on the island stunned the whole ship.At first everyone was silent but then they started cheering.Where the shot was fired ,huge hole through the rook could be seen.

Captain looked more and saw few buttons on side.First he pressed one by one and it seemed like by each more the impact on the island got bigger and bigger.

He saw that damn red button that I saw at first and hoped he won't use it.But nope,he pressed it and as the shot came out, the light of the shot got so big that everyone squinted their eyes. As the huge boom cut off half of the mountain the huge peace of hot stone and lava started raining toward ship.He got scared and ordered everyone to turn the ship and use the big paddles to get out of danger zone as far as they could.

I looked at the top of the mountain and saw a familiar picture on top of it.I knew then that this dream seemed to be not a dream than story what happen.

Unfortunately, I started getting dizzy as I saw the volcano erupting and that small ship unscathed leaving perimeters.I wished they would get hit by a big hot stone and just disappear. Why did the greed of people do that?That big island seemed to be a peaceful place.Sigh.Human greed really has no ends no matter in past,in present and even maybe in the future...
