Am I Goddess Or What?

Looking at the disgusting stuff floating down the river and dissolving in the water I got shocked.

This must be some strong water.I looked down and saw water around be clearing fast and becoming crystal clear like nothing ever happen.

I put my clothes on and realized one more thing.My skin seemed to be soft on touch and with light hue.As I had problems for years with the skin, I didn't have that kind of feeling since I was young.

I stared at my arm and saw that even smaller blemishes like freckles disappeared leaving smooth skin.Is this famous spring of youth?I put quickly the clothes on and run towards the lake.

''Chi Chi came to me as I need to check on something.You too.Come out the water ,now!''I scarily stared at them with a solemn expression. I was not this serious for years. Usually I am one of those funny people that can talk a lot and smile to anyone, but at this moment my heart was racing so I had to time for polite talk.

They got scared and toward me with a serious expression.Chi Chi had one peace swimming suit and he hand just shorts. I started staring at their bodies intently so they both felt somewhat uncomfortable.

I realized that I was rude so moved my eyes away and apologized.

''Sorry kids. But I just realized something important.We are here now already a couple days.Do you feel any difference? Check your bodies and check each other.''I said while staring again at my arms.

''Mom. What should we look for?''She said while staring at me as I checked my body.''are there any bugs we didn't notice in water?''

''Don't worry, no bugs. Just look closely at your skin. Don't you notice anything?''I said while circling around her like the Moon around the Earth.I could clearly see the difference.

Chi Chi was young and had firm skin, but had the same problems as I did with skin pigmentation and freckles. But as of now, they were gone. That was one of the reasons she hated to go on the sun.

She looked at her arms and legs and started smiling brightly. Then she turned to her boyfriend that didn't fare better. His skin was s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e and prone to redness and rashes.

I guess the whole generation after the industrial revolution had skin problems in their genetics. The pollution is getting even worse and worse with the years. The next generation might have even greater problems than just some pigmentation and freckles.

He stared at me with his eyes bulging out as he touched places where he had rashes a few days ago.

''This ,this...How is this even possible?''Adam said while stuttering.The shine in his eyes grew greater.He turned around to check Chi Chi's skin and saw there were no blemishes as well.

''I think we can call it to spring of youth or healing spring?I have no idea what I did in my past life, but one thing is for sure,this is the greatest present ever.dodon't you think?''I said remembering that actually on end of that countdown is my birthday.I will turn 50.

What a great present. Even this healing of my skin was enough for me to feel endlessly grateful to whoever sends me here to this place.I felt my body and soul slowly healing.

As they happily started laughing and looking at their bodies I started feeling awkward.

''Yo,I am still here.Please do that when I am not around.''I said while pretending to be ashamed while looking at them through the spread fingers.We laughed cheerily and continued enjoying our times as we liked.

Like that few days passed and we choose to go back to the beach.It was soon time for them to go back to work.As well I planned to get the drone and fly it to the other island to check out is there someone still alive and did anything from the great city survived.

I planned going back to the spot to sleep again.I didn't go there as long they were around.I didn't want them to worry too much.As we packed our stuff we got few seeds from different plants in the hope we could plant it in the original world.Just in case we could not keep the gate open anymore.

The seeds and plants here seemed to be 3-4 times bigger so I planned to buy peace of land somewhere and make some greenhouse to make sure that they didn't get affected too much by the outside world.

Sigh.I guess I will need a huge loan.I will talk about the loan with Tia if there is need.Right now I will just get the seeds.In future who knows what could happen.

We looked around and cleared all the mess we made in the last few days.We took all our trash with us and buried all the ashes in the sand.We cleaned it so far that it seemed like we never came here.

Taking backpacks we left with heavy steps as we felt light sorrow to leave such a wonderful place.Walking the same path we came from with the cats that followed us.

The cats in these days as well had changed.From lazy creatures, their wild genes turned on and all they did was or sleep or hunt some small creatures and eat.Their fur started shining as well and they kind of grew bigger.I wondered.How is that even possible.They were already few tears old and stopped growing but here it seems to that they have had changed.We all did.

Earlier when I put my clothes on they seemed to be bitten to large but then I told myself that it's impossible that in less than a week I could lose so much weight to see the difference.Just my wishful thinking.

This time we were even faster than before and we were not surprised anymore.After all, so many wondrous things happen to us in these days.Being faster and having more energy and agility didn't seem to be anything strange.We knew now definitely that it was because this place had such ability.

We were on the beach already a few hrs later.On way to the lake, we almost took a whole day but walking back took us just a few hrs.The amazing feeling rose in us.

When we came to the part of the beach that had the window open I choose that we could continue camping for a few days.We could still use tropical food as a base.We could swim in the sea and if we want to go to the toilet or sower we can just use my house.Same with cooking.We didn't need to cook here or make fire.By the way.Here the nights never were too cold.And the days were never too hot.

''Of course, if you choose to sleep at home is ok as well.I sleep here so comfortably I really do not want to go back at the moment.''I said while knowing that my snoring must have tortured them to death.Even if the waterfall was loud but the tents were close to each other so my snoring could be heard clearly.

I could clearly see the relief on their faces and felt wronged.It is truly not my fault that I snore. Since I came to the island I have been sleeping so sweet and deeply that I actually snored all night long.

I hope the island air could heal me of this kind of thing as well.That is one of the reasons I wanted to stay here.

But the main reason why I wanted them to go sleep in the house,every night before they go to respective tents they would had long departing's.I felt so annoyed that I even yelled at them so much. C'mon people.You will see each other in the morning it's not forever.

I hoped that they will finally stop staring at me with a complaint.Well there are enough rooms in the house.Choose whatever you want.

I sighed while preparing my tent and bed near the trees.They put the tent up as well if they wanted to rest a bit after swimming and left some clothes and towels in as they departed to the room.

They will cook tonight so I told them to but MEAT.Lots of it.I really miss the meat...
