Am I Goddess Or What?

The days of children's lives became quite easy and comfortable. But not for long. The Name Givers will soon come and get the children to be their teachers. Alcazar and Teatind felt a pinch of sadness in their hearts. the children just arrived and will be sent to other's to be taught for the next 10 years.

But they are dragons that will live for thousands of years. Ten years going to pass quite fast. But still... They won't be around them when they grow. They choose to travel around and visit children alternately.

They will stay with every child a couple of weeks then travel to another child and so on. The children hearing that they would see their parents often were quite happy. Reneé got sad. After all, she was not their original child. Thierry pinched her face and snubbed her nose.

''Fool. Didn't they say that you are family? We all will visit you from time to time. You have us.''

She smiled and suddenly felt her heart warm even more because this family truly accepted her as a family member.

''Yes. You are our sister. We will come by and see how you progress. If you don't do good I will pinch your face and tickle you for a long time.''Threatened Ylseria. Wriya nodded her head.''Definitely. We might come together and if you are not good we will attack you with our love''

They started laughing and went on playing around.

But Alcazar and Teatind were worried. They need to find as many information as tehy could before Reneé's Age ceremony. She will have her Age ceremony after them but still. They need to find out how to save her.

''I will ask the old king as well.''they could hear their son's voice behind their back.''The old king is one of the oldest dragons. He might know where you need to look for information.''

''True. That saying is true. Man can not see the forest from all those trees. I forgot teh old king.'' Alcazar seemed to be really distressed. After so many years he liked one of the humans and she was even important to dragon race. But even if she had no powers she would be important, as he liked her from the moment he set his sight on that child.

''We are all teh same. We all like her and would like her even if she had no powers. That child is just lovable.''Said Teatind while almost reading his mind. He didn't know that his face was open book so anyone could read it. Thierry sighed. His father is simple and good in his heart. His mother is really lucky to find such a man for herself.

''You seem to think that your father is simple and kind. And that everyone can read his face. It is not like that. He is like that only around his own family. With strangers he is cold as ice.''said Teatind proudly.

''My father is...ice cold?'' murmured Thierry looking at his father in disbelief.

Alcazar started laughing and just gave a huge hug to Teatind.''My wife is best.''such simple statement. But still made Teatind blush. The best way to this dragoness heart is such words from her beloved man.

''Oh please. We will soon leave, could you two control yourself for few more days, please?''said Thierry and run out. He went to look for Reneé.

She was together with his two sisters near water sitting in the shade of trees and gathering energy.

They did that most of the time. Thierry came and just took her in his hands and brought her away.

Soon they will depart their own ways. He is worried she will forget him.

''Reneé, promise me to never forget me. And you will wait for me to marry you. And...''she stopped him.

''Stop right there. I have no plan to forget you. There is a plan to marry you but the future is not certain so I will never give you any promises. The only thing is certain that we will meet again. Become stronger to protect me. Then we will talk...''she said while letting his mouth go.

He was not reconciled with her answer and wanted to say more but saw that in her eyes was something he couldn't understand.

Pure distrust.

He didn't know much about her past. If he knew he wouldn't sprout such things. She shook her head and smiled at him.''On end, it is my choice isn't it?''

He shook slightly. In his c.h.e.s.t, there was tearing pain. Is it even possible that she didn't want him? He shook his head. His father warned him if he overdoes it, the situation might change and he could lose her. He promised his father he would change and learn, but all he did was getting even worse than before.

He didn't want to let go. It was stronger than anything. Even survival wouldn't cause him to lose such control as even thought of losing her. His overly possessive feelings might hurt them both, he knew that, but it was stronger than him.

Anger and unwillingness swelled in him and so he grabbed her hands and squeezed them so hard that she let painful yelp. Her eyes filled with tears.''I taught of you highly. I wanted you to be by my side till the end of my days, but the way you are, I don't want you anymore. You are hurting me instead of protecting me. Let me go ...now!!!''

The holler of her voice spread all over the island. Alcazar and Teatind run there in just a matter of moments and found Reneé in their son's clutches. Her hands were starting to turn blue and her face slowly started losing color. What is this situation?

They never heard that dragon becomes aggressive towards their loves. Is it because she is human? Is this sign that they should not be together?

At that moment two voices boomed through the air and hitting the boy. ''Let her go!!!''

The two dragons that came were his and her Name Giver. They almost came too late.

The sound of the two voices woke him up and his mind got a bit clearer. When he saw her eyes he realized what he did. he tried to explain but she didn't let him.

She turned to her Name Giver.''Uncle can you take me away from here. Now!''

''I will.''he said while looking daily at the boy's unwilling face and turned to teh old king.''It was your choice, let's see can you teach him to control his temper. If he is not able to control his power till the Age Ceremony he can forget seeing her till the end of her days.''

Reneé turned to Alcazar and Teatind and run towards them.''Thank you for everything you did for me so far. I will understand if you never want to see me again. But I hope I do...''she said while her voice got smaller and smaller.

She went to hug Yselria and Wriya as tehy let their tears go on.''You do have to grow stronger. I am sure we will see each other one day. I will miss you.''Then she turned to her new teacher. She ignored Thierry completely.''Let's go now. As soon as I get there I need to start learning. I am human and have not much time. I can't live thousands of years so for me every lost minute is like hundreds of years for you.''

He took her in his arms and floated away. When they disappeared from the sight Thierry woke up from his stupor. He realized she left.

The emptiness filled his heart and his eyes lost its shine. He became like an empty balloon that lost its air. The old king looked at him and shook his head. This is a really troublesome seedling. But he must teach him after all this boy might become next dragon king.

He knocked his head but the boy didn't really care. Alcazar came to Thierry and said:''You will lose her totally if you continue acting like that. Didn't you hear what she said? If you become strong enough and prove yourself, she will take you back. So what are you dazed about. She plans to train hard. What about you?''

Teatind came to him and hugged him so did his sisters do as well. The old king took him in his arms and he flew away as well. This child needs serious talk it seems. His sisters had their teachers as well, but they will come the next day, so Alcazar and Teatind choose to spend more time with the girls to play with them and enjoy that day.

After that, the children will leave all and they will be alone again. But that only means tehy will have more time to search through the scrolls and travel.

''Hello my dear. I came to see you today.''said the pleasant voice.

''Who is your dear and what are you doing in my own room. Guards!!!''she screamed. When tehy arrived that saw a young man that was half n.a.k.e.d on her bed sprawled and waiting for her.

She shook out of anger.''I have no idea how this person got in. Get him out take all teh beddings and everything he touched out my room and burn it.''She creamed while staring at a stunned young man with disgust.

''Do you know who I am'' he asked with anger in his voice.

She looked at him and smiled icily.:''Do I need to care? Accept the King himself I do not care about anyone else.''

She looked at four guards at her door that were shaking out of fear.''What are you scared for. If you did a good job protecting my private room you wouldn't feel scared. You are transferred to work on a random track.''

She looked at the main guard.''If this is your best I do not need to know what is your worst.''

He shook as well like guards.

He got angry this time seriously.''All of you will go out and stand in mid of courtyard for two days. Your payment will be cut in half and you will change dormitories and sleep in the woodshed next three months. Understood?''

They signed with relief. The past owners were quite cruel so standing in mid of teh courtyard seemed rather like a small thing. They run off and a new set of guards came to help her.

''Change everything in that room. No, don't. It's a waste of my money. Kick him out and I will just find other room ads renovate it. You!''she turned to that man.''Go and never come back. Next time I will kill you with my two hands. I do not care about your heritage. Stay away from me. Got it?''

Never anyone, since he was born, has been so reckless and disrespectful ever...but this woman does that.

She showed him to get out the door but he jumped out of the windows and smiled as he passed her. She ignored him and turned her head. It stunned him so much that he almost didn't hit his head on the frame.

When he left she went to one of the rooms on the other side of the house. It seemed to be the highest room in this place. She let the guards set a new set of clothing and covered new beds. She is so tired.

She snickered slightly. She already knew this man. If she could get a partnership with this man she might be able to find her child. And that man will not be able to bother her again.
