American Fame and Fortune

Chapter 24: Intense collision action scenes

Chapter 24 A fierce action scene with a collision

The shooting location of the new drama is still the same farm, but it has been changed from a plantation to a breeding area.

The title of the film is temporarily called "People from the City".

The story of the script is not kept secret. Not to mention the main actors, even most of the extras know it.

A pair of young men and women came to the ranch from downtown Atlanta, and had a fierce emotional collision with several young men and women on the ranch.

The supporting character played by Martin is one of the men and women of the ranch dog.

The daily salary is US$500, and the character shooting is scheduled to take two days.

There are only three male actors on the crew who have more roles than Martin. Martin shares a small dressing room with the second supporting actor Kyle.

Kyle is a strong man, less than twenty-five years old, with a face as square as a stone.

He came a little later and saw that Martin was a new face. He knocked **** the dressing room opposite Martin and said, "Man, I like to sit near the door. You go inside."

The other party was in the same dressing room as him, which meant that they had similar status. Martin had no intention of giving in: "First come, first served."

Bullying is all too common in America, especially as Kyle is quite big.

Kyle stared at Martin's head: "You know what I used to do? A professional English football player! I can kick a football open with one kick!"

Martin followed Bruce and learned to be a civilized person in order to deal with similar situations.

He pulled back his coat and exposed the gun bag inside in a civilized manner: "I am a part-time actor, and my full-time job is a scavenger."

Kyle stepped aside, sat down on the makeup chair at the back, and said hurriedly: "I like to make jokes and liven up the atmosphere. You see, now we have reached a consensus and the atmosphere is very good, right?"

Bruce’s theory of civilized people is indeed effective. Martin pulled on his coat: “Don’t worry, I am a civilized person.”

Kyle was cursing in his mind, the crew can't find anyone? Pulling gangsters into filming? But there was a bright smile on his face, and he said sweet words: "You are the boss, just ask me if you have anything to do."

The makeup team came in to prepare makeup for the two of them. Martin called Jerome and asked him to keep the gun temporarily.

Because of Martin's relationship with Andrew, people from the Marietta troupe got relatively high-paying background roles this time. The news will soon spread among the Atlanta extras. The troupe can absorb more new people, and Jerome will naturally be able to Get more dues.

For the sake of money, Jerome doesn't mind temporarily acting as a baggage boy.

After putting on makeup and changing clothes, Martin left the dressing room first and went to the grass drying yard as the second shooting location to familiarize himself with the position and prepare for shooting.

Robert, wearing workman's clothes, was in the pasture at this time.

In subsequent filming, he will serve as one of Martin's background panels.

"How is that possible? It doesn't make sense!" Robert circled around Martin: "I've asked about it. Billy's role is ranked seventh among the crew. Why did the crew choose you?"

 Martin shrugged: "Because I'm good-looking."

Robert didn't believe it at all: "Don't be kidding. If good looks could get key roles, there wouldn't be so many ugly stars." He pointed to his big head: "According to common sense, I have a greater chance of becoming a star than you. !”

 Martin was curious: “Why?”

"Because I have a big head, a big head!" Robert said seriously: "Don't you notice? The bigger the head of a man in the entertainment industry, the more promising he is!"

Martin also said seriously: "Actually, my head is bigger than yours, so I have more prospects."

Robert didn't answer his words and continued: "If you think about it carefully, Stallone has a big head, Bruce Willis has a big head, Russell Crowe has a big head, and Schwarzenegger also has a big head!"

Martin was unable to refute, so he simply used his expertise: "Can you smash the earth with your head?"

Robert muttered: "The Earth didn't offend me." Martin patted him on the shoulder: "Man, for you, I decided to keep the Earth."

“Thank you so much.” Robert smiled bitterly.

Martin could tell that Robert's mentality was a bit unbalanced, but it was rare for him to be able to control himself.

Some extras who have been together and suffered for many years will do some incredible things when they see their companions get good roles.

The assistant director came to the set at this time and guided Martin and the supporting actress Joanna in advance to rehearse.

As a female-oriented pure love drama, Martin is indispensable for showing off his handsome face and strong figure.

For Martin, the play is very simple, with almost no lines.

In this scene, he only had to lie in the soft grass and bask in the sun, while Joanna hid in the distance and peeped. After being discovered by him, she boldly walked over.

The rest is the emotional drama.

Director Benjamin Galvin is in his thirties and graduated from the Savannah Art Institute. He has a big beard and is very artistic.

He specifically told Martin and Joanna what to pay attention to.

Martin is very professional. He did not eat heavy food this morning and prepared a breath freshener.

Before filming, he asked Joanna: "Is there anything you should avoid?"

Joanna saw Martin spraying breath freshener and was quite impressed with him, so she smiled and said, "Come on."

The first step was to shoot literary dramas. Martin was very good at literary dramas and got into the mood quickly.

On the contrary, my partner Joanna entered the state slowly and failed several times.

After the performance, go to the trailer next to you to touch up your makeup and change into protective costumes.

A crowd of people gathered around during the filming.

Various film and television-related regulations in New York and California have no control over the small rural crew in Atlanta. The crew is all members of non-performing arts unions. Not only are there no special provisions, there is not even a routine procedure for asking whether to clear the set during filming.

With a total investment of only about US$100,000 and a shooting period of less than ten days, the crew has no time or energy to talk.

Martin is very good at literary dramas, but he keeps making mistakes when filming action scenes.

In contrast, Joanna, who is good at literary drama, is very good at action scenes.

Several NGs in a row, Martin is also adjusting his status.

Director Benjamin roared: "Don't tell me anything special, you have no experience at all!"

“Don’t be nervous, just relax.” Joanna’s eyes had a strange color in her eyes, and her tone was particularly soft: “Imagine me as your girlfriend, and step in.”

In the following filming, Martin's condition gradually improved, and even some action scenes were shot very coolly.

At the end of the scene, Benjamin couldn't help but praise: "Martin Davis, this time is great, you are suitable for this job!"

Martin is a person who shines brightly when given a little sunshine. When he saw that the director's attitude towards him had improved, he immediately went over to joke and try to build a relationship: "Director, am I an acting genius? Or am I a genius in action scenes?"

Benjamin laughed and patted Martin's sharp shoulder: "I have classmates in the Sacred Valley. If you want to go, I can introduce them to you."

Martin said: "I'm afraid those people will never dare to film again!"
