Chapter 33: The end of the world appears like this

Chapter 33: The end of the world appears like this

After coming out of the club, Martin and Bruce went to the parking place together. They came out late because they were drinking with Hart and others.

The security on Saijo Street in the early morning is not good.

Martin stared at the two old black men walking by the roadside. His hand unconsciously reached into his clothes and held the handle of the gun. When they walked away, he said, "Why does it feel like I'm in Iraq?"

Bruce said: "There are no weapons of mass destruction here."

At this moment, black smoke drifted in, and a dilapidated large van drove past and stopped at the door of the black bar.

The car door opened, and several men with guns escorted three black guys out.

One of them is known to Martin. I bought beer from him a few nights ago. The other black people seem to call him Fred.

Bruce also had an impression: "The ones who robbed the black bar?"

Martin said: "Probably, it looks like he was caught."

Bruce came to the passenger door of the Ford and motioned for Martin to open the door quickly. He also said: "It is normal to break arms and legs. It is possible to have your fingers chopped off."

Martin rarely interacted with black people, asking: "What do they think?"

“Growing up in the worst quagmire, with no skills, no knowledge, no insight, stealing has long been integrated into life.” Bruce pointed to his head: “Add to it the emotions, and it’s easy to lose control.”

Martin opened the door and asked, "What if I bless a man to give birth to a bunch of black people?"

Bruce got into the passenger seat and smiled naively: "You are so vicious!"

Sent Bruce off first, Martin returned home, the car was parked in the backyard, and the Carter house next door was dark.

After washing quickly and lying on the repaired wooden bed, Martin took out the check from his pocket and pressed it under the bed. At the same time, he reminded himself to exchange it tomorrow. It was not safe to carry it with him or hide it at home.

Those who are poor in the Clayton community are particularly safe.

Vincent fulfilled his promise and paid the full $10,000.

Martin received a bonus of $15,000 from Vincent, and at the same time eliminated the loan sharking of $6,000 in principal.

He roughly calculated his income and expenditure, and his former boss Max generously gave him US$3,000, which was US$1,800 for three days of filming "People from the City".

Then there are the hourly wages and tips of being a bartender.

The bulk of the expenses were guns and cars. I bought a lot of bullets for gun practice. After paying the down payment for the car, I paid the first installment, as well as food expenses for Elena and other miscellaneous expenses.

Martin hasn’t looked at the account for a while, but including the newly acquired $10,000, the account balance is definitely over 20,000.

Money is a person's courage. Only when you have a certain amount of funds can you be free to do things.

Martin suddenly remembered something, he still owed Elena the rent.

It seems a bit unreasonable to live in someone else’s house and often do big business worth hundreds of millions with others, and not to pay rent.

 …

In an apartment in Midtown, Scott came out of the bathroom after taking a shower.

Sofia was sitting on the sofa wearing shorts and a vest, showing her well-developed thigh muscles and well-defined abdominal muscles. She pointed to the water and pills on the coffee table and said, "Take it."

Scott went over and saw that it was a painkiller. He quickly shook his head: "I'm not sick, why should I take this?"

Sofia did not persuade, but pointed to the bedroom with the door open: "Let me tell you the rules. Except for the bathroom and this room, entry into other rooms is strictly prohibited. Do you understand?"

Scott licked his face and walked over: "As long as I feel comfortable, everything else is easy."

Sofia threw over a covering mask: "Put it on and follow me."

Scott chuckled and played a mystery game?

He put it on his head and was led into another room by Sophia.

With the crisp sound of the silver bracelet clasping, Sophia shouted: "You are under arrest!"

The black rubber baton was in her hand.

Soon, Scott screamed and regretted not taking painkillers. Resistance? Sophia took out her pistol and put it to his mouth!

For Scott Carter, this was a miserable night and one that he would never forget.

It was finally dawn, and Scott held on to the wall with his legs crossed and moved outside.

Sofia sat on the sofa with a silver-white pistol in front of her: "I called a car for you. It's at the door of the apartment."

She picked up a mobile phone and threw it to Scott: "It's on 24 hours a day and is on call at any time. Do you understand the consequences of not answering the phone?"

Scott wanted to cry, but when he saw Sophia picking up the gun, he put away the phone obediently: "I know."

Sofia thought of Vincent, took her bag, and found that she didn’t bring any cash or checkbook, so she stood up and said, “Wait a moment.”

She opened a closed room door and walked in.

Between the door opening and closing, Scott took a peek and found some boxes inside.

Sophia came out quickly, holding a stack of 20 dollars and threw it to Scott: "Your service fee."

Scott’s face immediately changed, and he felt no pain in an instant, and said: “I promise to be there when you call!”

Sophia waved her hand: "Let's go."

“Goodbye.” Scott believes that Sophia is much nobler than Jack Davis and Martin Davis, who are giving free gifts.

At least Sophia gave me money.

 …

Morning, in the yard of Carter’s house.

Elena looked at the messy barbed wire fence and said, "Damn it! I'm going to open Scott's nose!"

Martin pulled off a piece of wire and said, "I have nothing to do during the day, so I'll buy some to make up for it."

Harris came out of the room: "You buy new ones and give Scott money for free."

Elena thought for a moment and said, "I'll try to get some wood. It's not valuable, so he won't move." She asked Martin, "Did you get the wood for the bed in the church cemetery?"

Martin asked back: "Are you going to dig a cemetery?"

Elena was speechless: "I'm not as perverted as an idiot like you!"

"Can we discuss it later?" Lily came out with her mobile phone: "Scott said he was injured and asked us to pick him up outside the community."

Elena didn’t seem to hear: “Go back and eat.”

Lily hung up the phone and wanted to speak again, but found that Martin's hand was less than 20 centimeters away from her head, so she shut up decisively.

Five people sat around the dining table, eating slices of bread and fried sausages.

Martin said: “Breakfasts have been very rich lately.”

Elena raised her hand and shook her chastity ring: "The Methodist and Methodist idiots appreciate me very much and give me more meat every time."

Martin drank a glass of milk and said to Elena: "Calculate how much rent I owe."

Elena nodded: "When I have time, I will find the accounting book and see how much it is."

Lily finally found a chance to interject: "Is the end of the world coming?"

Martin stared at her: "Don't make me beat a minor!"

Lily picked up the cup and took a sip of milk. She didn't know how many dirty words came out of her stomach, bumped into her closed teeth, and raised her cheeks.

After breakfast, Martin drove Elena to the Methodist church. He contacted Bruce, went to the gun club to practice shooting in the morning, and called Jerome in the afternoon.

The leader he respected the most had learned a lot about the crew from Los Angeles.
