Store the rifle and take it down the mountain by replacing it with a shortened shotgun Remington M870.

I will not put a shot shell in the pharmacy and apply safety devices.

The dispensary will remain empty, leaving only the magazine full of shells. I've never used a safety device.

The police will also be instructed to "not trust the safety devices and keep the bullets out of the pharmacy at all times," and the hunting license practice exam will not have the behavior or confirmation of "putting on the safety devices" or "removing the safety devices," and will fail if you do not say 'no remnants of ammunition' after unpacking them.

There are a lot of accidents that cause people to explode by mistake that they have safety devices on them. Even at the hunting scene, people who do what a lazy thing, leaving a bullet in the drugstore and putting on a safety device, are immediately noticed and disliked by fellow hunters. Let's be careful, shall we?

Besides, the Remington M870 is old in design, so that's the only thing that will erupt if you cock it or drop it. Even with safety devices on. You're scared, aren't you?

So I'm definitely not moving with Shell in the dispensary.

If you want to shoot me, just do it right through the fore-end (* 1). It's just a good story.

This was thoroughly planted by Grandpa.

Maybe you've spooked him before, Grandpa?

Mr. Bal, Saran, it's my turn.

When you come in front of the cave, hey, you're being miserable......

It's full of blood.

They're going to come together with wolves and stuff.

Goblin shot in the leg...... You're missing flesh on your feet and you see white bones.

If I were a chica, I'd run away with about this kind of injury. It's hard to track it down.

Goblins, like humans, are a little fragile compared to wildlife, I think.

……

Was it one of the sacrificed hunters who was burned in the central fire......

Too bad. It's already overcooked and black-burned.

You don't have anything you're likely to be able to collect.

"Proof of Crusade"

That said, Mr. Bal will cut it off with a tight knife with goblin red ears and put it in a bag. You want to turn away a little.

"All right, let's take a look inside the cave. Be careful."

Saran, who switched his bow to a sword, and Mr. Bal, who pulled out his sword, slowly cave in. It stinks.

Wildlife usually stinks fiercely because it doesn't bathe for the rest of your life.

It's strange because many animals have a good nose, but unlike humans, animals seem to be able to separate the smell. You seem to recognize your smell as a different smell.

I point the M870 muzzle up (* 2) from behind with one hand and illuminate it with a maglite.

"Wow, that lamp"

Ma, it's a kind of tool.

It's all the way to the back, there's some degree of rotten meat, animal corpses, a nearly made stone spear, a bunk hay, and there's nothing dizzying about it, and there's no remnants of it.

Stone spears...... maybe use them as throwing spears. Otherwise you shouldn't lose that way just because a human hunter was surrounded by such a little demon.

In ancient times, the weapon that mankind captured the mammoth was the throwing spear. Until a little while ago, the natives of Africa even tailored themselves to rhinos and elephants with throwing spears. Throwing spears are a powerful weapon with terrible killing power. Don't lick it.

Trying to get out of the cave, the wolves were gathering and obsessed with Goblin's body. I'll get rid of it with Saran's bow and my shotgun.

You've just knocked down about four. You're gone.

"... awesome yet... The sword is swinging. I'm the idiot."

Leave the knocked down wolf alone and return.

Turning around, the wolves are gathering in Goblin's body again.

You won't even be coming over here anymore.

It was a shame that one hunter was sacrificed.

Guys, silence.

"Let's go home. When I get home, you guys, it's grade three."

Across the horse, Mr. Bal cheers up and laughs.

"I was shown my true strength. I also found out enough in your hands that you should keep it hidden. Too much to understand."

A guy who can easily kill people from over 200m away is roaming the country.

This would be scary from the point of view of the powerful and the bad guys.

More than that, it's decided that the ones who try to use that power will follow the mountains together.

"Keep it up, please"

That said, Mr. Bal turned around and slapped me on the shoulder.

A young party crying over being informed of the death of a fellow man.

It's tough.

I feel like I've been shown Hunter's reality.

More carefully than ever, safety comes first, and we need to do it.

It's good that I die, but if Saran dies, I lose my precious wife, I lose my place to go, and I'll be alone in this world. I can't stand it.

Gently hold Saran's hand.

Big hands, they shake it back.

"... Elfer was sorry. Goblins have all been wiped out. Don't think about revenge. Team Elfan has been suspended for three months. Slowly heal the wound. I have nothing more to say. That's it."

That's tough, Mr. Bal.

The members of the hunting association were nice too, but tough on the scene. I was relentlessly cautioned if I did something wrong. We all understood gunknife laws, rules and manners well, and we were really careful about that, even if it was a small thing, it would be an accident, even if it was a small thing.

We're buddies who keep each other's lives. I would always be in an accident one day if I had allowed hema and cheats. That's the world.

"Come."

I'm going to the office.

"Cards."

When I give out the hunter card, Mr. Bal stamps me.

"Come on, this is level three."

... I wonder. Is it a good thing or a bad thing?

Can you make more money or do you have more trouble?

You can't say anything.

"Come back tomorrow. I'll take a course on the third level. I'll give you my reward for today. Because the Lords are supposed to pay for the crusade of demons in the realm, not the Alliance. I need to report it."

That lord can't want a lot of money......

"Okay."

When you went outside, you were surrounded by hunters.

How was your buddy's end?

How did you defeat Goblin?

"Mr. Bal knocked them all down. If you're one of us...... I'm sorry. We couldn't find the body."

I managed to excuse myself and left the spot.

I was kind of tired, so I took the inn earlier that day and slept.

Saran gave me a fluffy hug......

After cleaning the gun I skipped yesterday, I pick up the inn breakfast and head to the guild.

The Remington M700 rifle is a stainless steel model, but since carbon builds up in the barrel, I knew I'd have to clean it (* 3).

Shotgun people clean up exactly.

Shotguns now shoot out shots wrapped in plastic cups. The cup falls due to air resistance, so only the grain (shot) flies, so the lead creaks into the barrel of the gun, and there is no such thing as a buckshot, but when the grain is as large as the buckshot, there is no cup, so the cushion of lead balls. Looks like I'm going to have to lead off with a brass brush.

The rifle creeps like copper-plated after long use because copper eats directly into the rifling, it seems. I need to use drugs to drop this once a season or so...... I just bought a brand new one, so now I don't mind. But I hope so.

The rifle, some seniors said, "I don't hit the new one, but when I'm used to shooting hundreds of shots, I'll start hitting it," while others said, "That's just not used to guns, and the rifle ring is expendable. Shooting will reduce it and hit it better with a new one".

Hmmm...... ma, I guess it's both true.

The rifle's hit accuracy drops because there's a data that says about a thousand or five hundred shots. I saw this on the online overseas manufacturer's website.

The hunting society is full of old people. People look around the internet on their computers, an amazing minority! So many people are surprised or don't believe that I will show my latest knowledge.

Because we're all big seniors. "Here's what's right. I watched it online." I'm not talking about it. I just listen to a lot of stories and find out which one is right later. Sometimes I say, "I've heard these stories," really, occasionally.

A thousand and five hundred rounds is surprisingly little!

We could be losing military rifles around here. If you were at war, you would surely use a thousand and five hundred rounds in no time!

No, will I die in battle before I shoot that far, or will the battle be settled?

Um, I'm not sure about that area because I'm not Milliotta.

Ordinary hunting guns have a short lifespan because they are large-calibre, high-speed bullets.

Do military guns have a longer life span than hunting guns because they are being small-calibrated around the world?

However, I'm pretty sure I don't use that hard steel for a gun barrel.

A barrel can swell and rip when it bursts. It doesn't crack and splash.

That's because it's made of pretty soft steel.

As soon as more pressure is applied than expected, tear and let the firing gas escape. The barrel is only as strong as that. Otherwise it is dangerous when it erupts.

If the barrel was sturdy, the person who shot it was dead because it would jam and burst with all the gunpowder burning out and so high gas pressure.

There's a soudoff, isn't there? Means cut off with a gold saw. The one that keeps the barrel short and hidden.

You can cut it with a gold saw, right? A gun barrel? If this was baked steel, it wouldn't be cut with a gold saw.

I don't care.

Mr. Milliotta has a lot of amazing knowledge, too, but you may not know anything about hunting guns, so it's mame knowledge. Yes.

If you don't know anything, it's us.

I don't know anything about this world, about the rules of hunters in this world, about the law. That's the same with Saran, who has always been in the village of Elves.

So I'm going to listen to Bal, the guild master, who's going up to third grade to give us a lecture.

"Street robbers and bandits can be killed. No, rather, make sure you kill him."

……

If it's Japan, the police will just shoot you and you'll be beaten...

Is this something different when the world changes?

"Um, what if I catch you"

"Um, what do you want me to do about catching you? The job is to escort merchants, right? Do you have any water or food for the burglars? You don't even have a seat. You want me to walk with a rope? Your horse's legs are gonna fall, aren't they?

... Indeed.

"They're gonna try to get away all the time, aren't they? If you give me a chance, I'll kill you and try to attack you back, okay? With the rest of us, they'll be after us all the way to the city, right? What do you do at night? Don't sleep and watch? Wouldn't you guys just take turns and watch one at a time? What's wrong with that?"

... right?

"I just caught him and stuck him out to the guard. He's tied up anyway. It doesn't matter if you die. What if they get away with it? You guys are gonna get revenge for being targeted all the time? You resent the merchants on the spot, the travelers, they kill you, right? Is that okay with you? It's all your fault, isn't it?

... Wow.

"Robbers kill. Don't miss a single one. That's the only way to reduce burglary. Tell him it's not a good job. Same as extermination. Don't think of them as human. You got it."

"Yes. Um, what if they surrender?

"You're just determined to do that because you want to be helpful on the spot for now, aren't you? If it's troublesome, kill it before you surrender. We do. Definitely a source of trouble later. Don't pity me."

... you're dealing with the wildlife you make.

"I'm not saying this because I want to, too. I don't feel good about killing people."

Mr. Bal puts his hand on his desk and talks seriously.

"I'm a hunter. It is good that I die. That's on its own. But think about the lives of your people. Think about your own people dying. Think of your people getting killed. Your partner is a woman. You're going to get fucked and killed. It could be good money because it's an elf. They're gonna sell you as slaves, right? You're gonna get fucked up and you're gonna kill me."

...... Thank you.

...... I can't see Saran better.

If that happens, I'd better be dead by now.

"Have you seen the end of Elfer? I thought the goblins were cooking for dinner. If you hesitate for a moment to kill someone, the hunter will be."

……

"You got it."

"... ok"

"See you next. I used to hang prizes on bad guys who sold their names and arrange nominations, but I'm not doing it now. I don't care if bad guys compete for names, more buddies, more bandits, and I have to go home with my neck, even if I catch the prize neck, it's not a good thing that the lords and the country step down with the prize unpaid. So now it's easier to kill from one end..."

It's a scary world to make.

Unlike swords and spears, guns are unwieldy.

Maybe that's the better world for me.

And I was taught a lot of details about fees, contracts, fees to guilds, how to place orders, rules when working with another hunter, split up, reporting obligations to hunter guilds, dealing with injuries, death, etc.

* 1. Gash the fore-end

The M870 is capable of closing the dispensary when the built-in hammer is cocked so that the foreend does not move forward. So to move the foreend to load the shell from the magazine into an empty medicine chamber in this condition, I can't move it without pressing the action lock bar in front of the trigger guard. If you hammer it down, you'll be able to move it and load the next bullet, but you'll have to empty it to do that, and that's the source of the accident if there's a bullet in the pharmacy on top of hurting the gun, so pushing the action lock bar in advance and pulling a few centimeters forward end is the way to go.

The hammer of the hunting gun does not weaken the spring even if it remains cocked all day, but it must be hammered down properly when you finish the hunting and store it.

"I have no problem keeping the gun hammer cocked. Even the car suspension will always stay shrunk and you won't lift and put it away every time you park" is a big lie. The suspension on the car is not parked with the maximum load on and eyes shrunk.

* Two gunshots up.

The hunter's gun safety hold is "gunpoint up". No exceptions. Gun hunting license practice exams are reduced when the gunpoint is held cool down in a special forces style. Likewise, the point at which the muzzle is directed at a person even for a moment, or fingering the trigger, is a reduction. It is the difference between a tactical system that does not know when it will be a battle and a hunter who must never fight or otherwise.

* 3. Cleaning

"Smokeless gunpowder leaves no burning cusp" is a big lie.

If you fire even one shot, the inside of the barrel is full of tin if you peek, and the cloth is black if you clean it.

Unlike black gunpowder, of course, I can shoot hundreds of rounds as it is, and I don't get stuffed with ammo, but I always need to clean it after a day of shooting. Not to skip.
