An A.d.u.l.t In Pokemon

Chapter 102 - Dungeon Part 5 Tempers flare?

After a few days of training against the wild Pokemon in the area, Gray and the Eevee returned to the others. Eevee feeling much better once they were all gathered up again. By the feel of it, some increase their aura control and a few gained new Pokemon as well.

"Haa, still miss you dood." Gray looked up at the sun smiling. Thinking about Pyron just a little. It was a fleeting moment as he finished breakfast and packed up. "I have most down pat, both Yvetal & Giratina are always evolving. So not much to be done with them not being whole. My parts are still far scattered need to focus on the one deep inside now The one that belongs to my vessel."

Gray's dual-tone speech was the result of him communicating with himself fully. The Eevee and June the only ones nearby who could hear this. The others still munching away on breakfast or still asleep in Dawn's case.

"The Dark Charizard pokesoul.. time to deal with that hurdle." Gray pulled the aura from the surroundings to himself slowly. Feeding it directly to the sleeping form inside. He would need his regular aura and psychic power to fend off in case something terrible happens. "I need to make further improvements."

*Fwoosh!* Aura energy swirled around him creating a funnel. The wild aura was just what the pokesoul needed. The Dark Charizard stirred and instantly pushed back in retaliation however. Not wanting to wake up for him. Which in itself was odd.

If this was a regular pokemon, one would chalk it up to badges needed.

"Tch! Disobedience, how stupid!" Gray snarled. His eyes radiating malicious intent. "Don't want to listen, then I will get rid of you!" No point in strengthening the pokesoul when the energy used to empower it could go to the others.

*Swirl!* The pulled in aura was grabbed on then ripped out. The Dark Charizard was forcefully removed from him internally. Which would cause its death. Gray was more strict with himself than any other after all.

Killing a part of himself was not that rare for him.

*Groooo!* The freed pokesoul roared in pain. It's cry causing someone else to act. A white blur shot over as Diantha couldn't contain herself anymore.

"Grr, it's a Wild Soul. Let me fight it."

"You can fight it all you want, but the aura it has, is coming back to me." Gray would not give up his power. Destroying was ok, giving up this power.. absolutely stupid. "Feel free to crush it."

The Dark Charizard looked a little shocked. Its body trembling a little. It gave a pleading look almost.

"I do not need something that is against me or refuses to listen, better off recycled." Gray's voice came out harsh and powerful. To much was at stake for him to let this carry on a single step more. "You either get beat by her and the power returns to me completely, or you fall in line like the rest. Those are your only choices."

"Grrro!" The Dark Charizard roared defiantly. It bȧrėly had any intelligence inside. Instincts already warning it had no hope of defeating Diantha. "Groo groo!" The snorting of dark fire started to become insistent.

"Maybe you should.." Cynthia was about to have her partner back down, but that was not going to happen. She looked to Gray who's aura seemed stifling as time passed. She was about to get involved but the Eevee near Gray gave a daring look. 'I never met such a bloodthirsty pokemon. Not since.. ten years ago anyway.'

"I think you just crush it." Eevee egged Diantha on. Eyes radiating murderous intent. "It is after all causing problems in case you haven't noticed." The pokemon gestured to the woods not to far away. Sounds of fighting picking up. "The "Rebel Aura" is infectous."

Ash's Charizard was technically eaten by Gray. Which was consumed by the Dark Charizard internally. After consuming a lot of the aura from the fighting in the area and that of Entei, the resentment, Rebel Aura started to rear inside the Pokesoul.

"A bit of my fault as well, but no matter. It is getting taken care of today" Gray said cooly. His right hand contained a ball of aura energy. Bits of the various Blessings mixed in. "Bea, might have rubbed off on me a little in regards to something."

Right as Diantha started to use her Pokesoul, the Dark Charizard gave in. It moved to Gray and submitted fully. The aura power condensed in his hand reached out burning away the rebellious nature leftover from Ash's Charizard, Entei the traitor, and oddly a bit from the Ho-Oh killed back then.

"Pokesoul." The words bȧrėly left his mouth as black flame engulfed him. "Mastery of all, is defintely different than some." Gray mumbled. The quest previously did state he had Mastery of the current Pokesouls and Pokefusions he had. 'I was sent here to get these problems taken care of and the other thing, right? Or was it..' .

He was broken from his musings as that was actually the case. The text bubble came up giving relief. Gray was stressing he would be in the dungeon forever at this rate. But with this cleared up, all that was left was securing the Dungeon from a breakout.

"I need this!" Diantha pokesoul was growing in power. Next to her, Cynthia gave in to the feeling as well. The two touched hands and fused. "We need this!" An explosive wave of aura washed out.

"Well..never expected this. How in the blazes are they this instead of the other forms?" Gray mumbled looking at the Pokefusion state of Kyreum. The lore behind the pokemon was one of the oddest things he rembered. "The intelligence is there at least. So.. guess a good fight is the way to go at it."

"Glad we can accommodate you, Gray." The voice was a fusion of at least four different identities, if not more. "How about a small wager?"

"Stakes?"

"You beat us, we help obtain an item you need." Kyreum? grinned. "Something that we believe belongs to you in fact. But if you lose, well you have to do one thing we want any time. How's that sound?"

"Hmm, sure." The power they had was something to take notice of but Gray needed to fight someone this powerful. More and more he wanted to recover his full strength. Entei was just the beginning and stronger awaited him. "Let's begin then!"

As Gray started his next fight to grow stronger, June was talking with the little Eevee. Sabrina watching after coming over feeling the stir in the air earlier.

"An Eevee for every type there is.. made from my DNA and Gray's what were they thinking?" June/Ori spoke in a dual-tone somewhat upset. Mostly because she was not consulted in the least. "Not only did all of them flee to part unknown around the Pokemon World, but you are also telling me Oak messed with the aura remnants of Archeus and its DNA."

"That is correct mother." The Eevee sat on its buŧŧ staring at her unflinching. Tail wagging just a bit in happiness. "Red, after feeling matters were moving to slow took in the Augmented Aura. Mewtwo was the only one that could subdue him at the time."

"I think it best we go and visit Professor Oak's place the moment we leave here."

"If it is still there." Sabrina walked overlooking at the Eevee. "I am sure the lab has probably moved. Take it from someone who knows about Secret Headquarters and the like. The moment it was compromised they either planned to get ready an move or they already moved and its a disguise of the sort if its still there."

"I see. Sometimes I wish the World was more simple." June muttered. "Once Arceus is done, then back to regular business."

"If the World is not wiped out that is." Sabrina didn't want to think about the latter. She was only focused on the here and now. "So when are you going to get more into the killing of things?"

"When it is required." June retorted back. "If all of us become killers like you, nothing will be left worth saving." Thumbs twiddling as she looked downward. The little Eevee resting its head on top of her ŀȧp. "The World needs healers just as much."

"Humph, sure. If you think that will save everyone." Sabrina was picking a bit of a fight. The sight of a technical child between someone else with Gray was not something she could just leave alone. It should have been her DNA used. "Why not go work at a hospital or something to take care of casualties? No need to be out here with us."

"Why not go and vent to your girlfriend Clair and leave me out of your troubles?" June retorted back. Her eyes shining in battle intent. "You did make your choice after all." The air was really charged with a wild aura still.

The emotion of both women more than charged. All around their camp a few were starting to snap at each other. All but one person.

May had her wits about her. She munched on her breakfast looking them all over oddly. Pulling out her bag, a small Incense pot was opened. Pure Incense helped to decrease the Pokemon Encounter rate. Mixing it with a little aura energy, it worked the same as the item Repel, which to warded off pokemon.

"If they weren't all exhausted, the wild aura shouldn't even bother them. Well, that little Eevee seems to be keeping things mildly down. Gray and.. who ever he is fighting is perfectly fine." May nibbled on the bacon a little more. Watching everyone finally calm down. A little apologizing here and there for some. "I wonder if they are going to fight it out?"

May eyed June and Sabrina a little more. Both still looking heated and not in the good way. Their voice went higher as they vented at one another. Sabrina had a smile on her face as June's aura climbed up even faster.

"Hmm?" The Eevee looked up in wonder. The two types of auras that produced because of Ori and Chroma were fusing back into one. Pulling on her deep dėsɨrė to be stronger. 'I wonder what will happen to her sister at this rate?'

In a town back out of the dungeon, a woman was going about her day perfectly fine. Currently shopping in a grocery store without a care in the world. Ever since finishing her education and adapting to be an ȧduŀt, Ms.Juniper couldn't be happier.

A man who stalked her for the last few weeks moved over. It was time to finally get his target. An agent of Arceus that moved capturing certain people across the globe.

"Ehem, excuse me." The stalker said politely. After studying her well enough, he was confident in his ability. "Do you have a moment?"

The market was pretty empty and she was right by the emergency exit. A van waited outside to make the getaway.

Ms. Juniper thought nothing of the person and spoke with him openly. It wasn't until he moves close that she felt something was wrong. Getting shoved into the door was painful, but not as painful as what happened next.

The sight before her was enough to haunt the woman more than the Darkest Parts of the Viridian Forest ever did.

"Ahhh!" The stalker screamed as he was lifted into the air. A translucent, dark-blue orb with a starscape pattern set in a golden shell-like structure floated above her. It was the pokemon Cosmoem. "Let me go!"

"No." The pokemon said coldly. It broke the man's arms and legs on the spot. Then it dropped him. Turning to Ms.Juniper, it calmed down. "This individual has stalked you for a while, and has finally moved to capture you."

"Who.. who are you? Why are you here?" Ms.Juniper was scared not wanting to get involved in anything at all. A bit of a mental issue developing after everything that happened to her. Rapid aging was the least of her problems. "And.. and.. thanks for the help."

"Who, I can not say. What.. I'm a Pokemon. The why is to protect you." The Cosmoem floated about. Officers arrived on the scene but didn't bother Ms.Juniper. A psychic barrier created by the pokemon kept sight away from them. "Some of us do not want the World to end afterall."

"Huh?" She looked confused, but not so confused she didn't press the emergency buŧŧon on her pokegear.. Her family was very overprotective since she returned. 'I just want to live a normal life, why is this happening to me?!'
