An Elementalist At Hogwarts

Tracey sat down next to Daphne, as for me I sat down next to the window and next to Aurore, in front of Daphne. The Hogwarts Express would leave the King's Cross Station at 11 o'clock in the morning, we had to wait almost 30 minutes before the start of the travel, the train should arrive to the station at Hogsmead in the early evening so we had a long travel ahead of us. A long travel without technology, no smartphone, tablet or laptop since we were only in the 90's, hell I miss so much my music, practicing magic is fun but I would gladly play some MOBA or MMO while listening some musics who wouln't be composed in the next 20 years.

The four girls were already happily chatting and laughing, even Daphne had a slight smile on her visage, it seems they became quite good friends, good for them. I was already bored so I opened a book on phoenixes.

The phoenix is a large swan-sized scarlet magical bird with red and gold plumage, along with a golden beak and talons, black eyes, and a tail as long as a peac.o.c.k's. Its scarlet feathers glow faintly in darkness, while its golden tail feathers are hot to the touch.

Phoenixes will usually nest on mountain peaks and are gentle herbivores that are not known for fighting. As phoenixes approach their Burning Day they resemble a half-plucked turkey. Their eyes become dull, their feathers start to fall out, and it begins to make gagging noises. Then the bird suddenly bursts into flames only to rise from the ashes shortly after. In a number of days, they grow back to full size. Thanks to this ability, phoenixes live to an immense age.

Phoenixes owns several abilities, the most startling one is without any doubt it's ability to regenerate itself. It periodically bursts into flames when its body becomes old, and rises from the ashes as a newborn chick. This event is called Burning Day, and gives these birds a great life span, as well as the ability to take the full force of a killing curse and still be reborn.

The phoenix can also disappear and reappear at will in bursts of flames and take whoever is holding them along, Fawkes, Dumbledore's phoenix used it in the fifth book when Fudge came at Hogwarts to take him.

Their tears have potent healing capabilities, their tears are also able to bring a person back even from the brink of death, while the phoenix song will increase the courage of the good and strike fear into the hearts of the evil. Phoenixes are capable of lifting a great weight with their tails, they can also leave messages by bursting into flame to reappear elsewhere, leaving behind a single golden tail feather.

I really want to have my own phoenix, the book also state that phoenixes are very loyal creatures, it's also one of the reason I want one.

The Hogwarts Express was finally leaving the station and I was already ready to sleep, I closed my eyes and before long I became asleep.

Alexandre was sleeping while the four girls were chatting wand laughing together, Alexandre would be surprised to see the cold Daphne laughing heartly.

"Alexandre is already sleeping, he didn't slept last night?" asked Tracey

"I think it's our fault" said Aurore.

Tracey made a shocked expression.

"You two kept him from sleeping? You are quite bold, maybe too young also and his sisters in addition but I understand you, if I was to live under the same roof as someone this handsome I would probably loose my mind if I couldn't put my hand on him..." said shockingly Tracey.

Aurore was scandalized while blushing madly, she never expected that her friend was so dirty minded. Yoruichi was also blushing but not as much as her sister, maybe she herited the personality of Yoruichi in Bleach...

Daphne was also shocked at the words of her bold friend but couldn't help to agree with her words, even her wasn't immune to Alexandre's looks.

"You are so dirty minded, I only wanted to say that last night we were too excited at the idea to go at Hogwarts that me and Yoruichi spent all the night to talk in his room."

"I know, I was only joking, we are only 11 years old but in 4~5 years maybe you will be interested in some guys and maybe your brother will have a girlfriend at that time."

"Who knows, 4~5 years are so far away that I can't imagine yet."

They continued to chat and after few hours they fell asleep too. The compartment was quiet even if sound of Hogwarts students could be heard, the compartment were quite soundproof but not enough to contain noises produced by overexcited students.

I woke up in the afternoon and I noticed that my four fellows were asleep, Aurore was sleeping on me and my arm was quite sore because of it but I didn't woke her up. Bored, I mindlessly made a little water snake dancing between my left hand's fingers, periodically swapping with fire, lighning and darkness elements. If someone was to witness this exceptional control of elements wandlessly made from a still not first year, they would want to kill themselves at the unfairness of the life...

I suddently stopped my magic and not even one second later, the compartment door was shout open, a bushy haired girl entered in the compartment.

"Did you see a toad? A boy called Neville Longbottom lost his own?"

"No Emma, I didn't see a toad."

"My name isn't Emma."

"Well, you entered in the compartment without even knock, you didn't present yourself nor even say some greetings and immediately ask something, don't you think your a little too much? So I gave you a name, you have a head of someone called Emma, and you speak loudly when four girls are sleeping, so I would gladly tell you to search the toad somewhere else." Saying that I wandlessly pushed her out of the compartment and closed the door, locking it at the same time.

What a bad-mannered girl, I know that she was quite unlikeable in the first year at Hogwarts but she was very rude, I already can't stand her.
