An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

Shane was enraged beyond words, Anna pulled his arm and started walking away from Jacob.

When they reached the car, Shane ordered Anna's bodyguard, "Teach him a lesson that he will never forget in his life, he should never think about crossing our path ever again."

Anna was trembled by Shane's word, "No, Shane! Stop it... let him go, he helped me once. There is no need for any of this, please for my sake, let him go!!! "

While Anna was pleading with Shane, her bodyguard had already advanced towards Jacob, he was a well built A-grade bodyguard specially appointed to protect Anna. Anna knows well about his skills since she herself had witnessed a lot of time of his unkind attack on their invaders.

Jacob kept his eyes on Anna not even leaving once, he cursed Shane, 'As**ole! Sending your bodyguard?! Can't you even fight your own fight?'

Shane grimaced and leaned back against the car more comfortably, Anna pleaded with him with teary eyes.

The moment he reached Jacob, Anna's bodyguard began his strikes. Jacob evaded all the attacks like playing with a kid, His elude made the other man mad, he launched even more fierce attacks.

All the while, Jacob kept on stealing glances in the middle of evading the strikes. He witnessed Anna was pleading to Shane to let him go.

He felt like an angel showered him with utmost blessings, 'Is she really pleading for me. Does she value me?!!'

'Ahh!!! this insect is giving me a headache! let me smash it first.' Jacob roughly yanked the bodyguards' arms, and with a spun, Jacob twisted bodyguard's right hand and pinned his hand behind him and then with his other hand's elbow, he launched a perfect hit on his neck.

The pain was too sharp for the guard to bear, he knelt down miserably with his back facing Jacob.

All the while, Anna who was pleading with Shane to let him go stopped abruptly when she saw Jacob's counter-attack.

Jacob turned back to glance at Anna, he wore a smug smile which was mocking Shane, 'This is what all you got?!'

But then Jacob noticed Anna's expression change, the concern all written on her face earlier was gone and now replaced with puzzlement. When Anna was pleading on behalf of him, he felt so blessed.

Now, he realized his own smile emptied from his face.

When Jacob was preoccupied with the transformation of Anna, A sharp smack landed on his face. Jacob was in a mental breakdown a little earlier, his punch made him pass beyond anger right now, his eyebrows narrowed, he raised his head up.

And he noticed Anna was shivering and looking straight at him and pressing both her hands at her mouth with tears welled up. She then turned back and yelled at Shane to stop it but Shane was unmoved.

The smile that was vanished earlier came to resurface again in Jacob's face and his eyebrows smoothed. He even smiled vibrantly like a madman.

The guard got irritated by his actions, so he launched another unexpected blow in Jacob's stomach. He bent forward by the extreme pain yet he held the eye contact with Anna.

Anna screamed, she drew her hands which was held tightly by Shane. Without pausing for a second, she ran towards Jacob.

Jacob's eyes opened wide, Is she coming for my aid? He let the bodyguard land him another blow on his c.h.e.s.t. Though he was beaten up, he was happy beyond words.

'She is running towards me, she even yanked her hands away from him. She is coming for me! she is coming for me!' Jacob rejoiced by her reactions. All the hit he received earlier was worth watching her running towards him.
