An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

Once Anna reached home, She received a call from Madam Luyisa. Her aunt found that Shane has transferred a huge amount to Anna's account from the company account. She was so happy that both the child were getting along.

"Anna! Is Shane taking good care of you? I just saw something out of ordinary from Him. Does something special happened?"

'What special! it was actually bloodshot. I am going to kill Jacob the instance I get a chance'

Anna politely responded, "Hmm... Just a small shopping with Shane. He was embarrassed that you might mock at him if he pays from his card, so he transferred the money to my account. Aunty, it would be better if you don't bring it up to him."

Shane overheard their conversation, Without making a sound he climbed upstairs, 'this girl is quite good at twisting things'

"Good! Good!! I'll not ask him. Take good care of each other. Aunt will visit you two very soon."

'Oh no! If she comes here, she would know that we are not living together, think quick, think quick Anna.' She quickly stole a glance at Shane's retrieving frame, once she made sure that he was withdrawn inside the room, She whispered, "Aunty! You know well about Shane?! He might not feel comfortable. You know, we are just getting along, so... "

Luyisa smiled warmly, "Aunt got your point! My girl! You are such a wonderful child. I always know that you'll sort out with him."

Shane stopped when he overheard Anna's murmur, 'What does she mean by that!' He gulped and went straight into the bathroom.

Anna's words kept on rolling in his mind, "He might not feel comfortable.... we are just getting along... "

After a shower, he changed into a new set of clothes. Shane opened his laptop to go through the emails, he still played an important role in his father's business.

He had strong interpersonal skills when it comes to his job. However, he could not concentrate on his job recently after his conversation with Anna a week before.

Today, He felt so remorse when he saw Anna ran to the man to save him, he saw that the other man had a smug smile return all over his face as if challenging him.

And followed by that, Anna's conversation with his mom.

He shut his laptop loudly, 'What is my problem! Why can't I be normal like always? this is what happens when a girl comes into a person's life.'

His c.h.e.s.t heaved up and down. He laid back down in his bed and closed his eyes, the images of today's incident filled his mind.

The way Anna reacted towards the stranger triggered him, 'I can't be jealous! This man has come to know that Anna is a silver-spooned And now trying to climb a ladder at the back door.'

'He should pray that he should never meet me again in his life, or else, I will make him feel bad for ever been born.'

'Whatever! these silly fights are not meant for me. I am the future CEO of Torizo if I stoop low to their level what is the difference between him and me.

Whoever Anna cares is out of my business, until it doesn't bother the family. hmm... Anyway, I should warn her to keep a distance from the leeches.'

Anna entered her room with a downcast. Her room was also in upstairs, the wall was painted with a bright yellow color and gave a pleasant stimulus. On one side, there was a study table and chair with a table lamp, It was stacked with the doc.u.ments of her company, Symonds Corporation.

On the other side, there laid a small couch and a sofa. She went out to the balcony and sat on the chair near a flower pot.

She sighed deeply, a minute before she talked all cheerful to her aunt but now her mind was filled with the man who got hit because of her, 'Is he mad? Why does he have to argue with Shane? Is he fine now, did he go to the hospital?'

She felt so restless, she started pacing in the balcony, she went in and began to dig her cupboard to find the piece of bill paper with the contact number written on it by Jacob.

She typed the number in her phone and anticipated for a long while, she then put her phone aside.

She stared at the wall, 'What the hell I can say him? however, I have to settle this once for all, what if he comes back tomorrow.'

With a panic, she pulled her phone back and typed a quick message and clicked the sent button, 'That's it then, everything will be settled by tomorrow.' She left the room with a spring on her heels.

She headed to the kitchen to cook a meal for Shane. Since it was the first time Shane staying over after their whirlwind marriage. Even though he spent one week time with her on their arrival, it can't be counted as she was still under bed rest by then.
