An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

Chapter 48 - Party Is On (2)

On their way to the parking lot, Naia who could not restrain her curiosity prompted with wavering eyes, "Ahh... Anna! Who is he anyway? He was so handsome and good looking, and I am still single with no hope. Can you please help me here?"

Anna who possessed a gloomy face can't help but laugh at her friend's insanity, "Are you sure, Naia? He was rather so annoying, I really wonder you would even like him after meeting him?"

"That's my problem don't you worry, now tell me everything about him."

"Ok fine! His name is Jacob. I met him in Highland Park and he helped me reach home safely as I was lost in the lilac festival day. I had no means of help and support and also some rogues caused trouble, he was the one who saved me and took me home. And also I owe him more than one thousand dollars. END OF THE STORY..."

"Woww... that's kind of romantic... Did you call him to meet you in college too?" Naia exclaimed heavenly, 'Why this kind of incident never happened to me? so unlucky...'

George narrowed his eyebrows,'Whatever!!! do girls like these kinds of stuff. Maybe, I should try to...'

Aaliyah kept quiet gathering all the information she required without even opening her mouth.

"No, I didn't call him. He should have come to meet his little brother Dru."

George interrupted, "What Dru's big brother is him?"

"Long story! Never mind..." Anna was irritated by this couple's rapid-fire questions.

"Then why did Shane hit him, he should appreciate him alternatively" Naia complained.

"That man got quite a mouth but definitely not an immoral demon." She certainly sensed that she was being one-sided, how can she ignore the fact of how Shane's attitude towards Jacob was.

"Girl! You stood protecting him like a beauty saving the prince from her daddy's vengeance." George said out of nowhere.

"Shut up! I am not." Anna poured her anger without reserve.

"Enough please!" Aaliyah tried to put a full-stop to the arguments, she herself was so much troubled by their bullet shots.

But Naia continued to pester, "Then why did you protect him?"

"Because he saved me, Is that not reasonable enough? Do you expect me to simply sit and watch him getting hurt? That too because of me! Please!"

They reached their destination without even knowing how they ended there?

On the middle of their hot argument, They heard someone shouting Anna's name.

Anna, 'Now what? who the hell!' She turned to find two attractive girls waving at her, one with excitement and other with bitterness. Anna was petrified by their presence, 'What the hell! Why on earth, I have to come across them now. This is like a bad signal for me, I better should turn back to classes.'

"Hi, Anna! Do you still remember us? We are sorry that we left you unattended in the park last time."

Naia nudged her from behind breaking her nightmare. Anna shook her head, "I must be the one apologizing, I am sorry for creating confusion on that day. I really never intend to do that."

She turned back to introduce them to her friends, "They are our seniors and Shane's friends."

"Hi Juniors, I am Kylie and she is Elanda. Hey! tell me, are you guys sneaking out already?"

"Ahh... no! no! We are just getting some fresh air." Anna answered timidly.

Kylie smiled back with a suspicion, "Then follow me! We will show you a nice place."

Naia gestured to George, He took the hint instantly, "Seniors! you all can have girls meet, let me step out."

Kylie commented, "Is he shy? He is so cute." Elanda felt completely remorse for meeting them, she even occasionally stared at Anna.

After a round of chit chat, Anna phone vibrated.

It was a message from George, "I am all set, you can come out. I am waiting outside the back entrance."

"Ahhh... Seniors! We need to head back, I need to borrow some notes from my classmate."

"Ok fine! Keep going." Elanda for the first time replied to Anna.

Once they winded up, Elanda said, "These kids are sneaking out and I am sure about that."

"Mmm... I feel the same way." Kylie replied.

"Today morning, I saw Anna talking to the stranger whom Shane hit yesterday. I am sure they are heading out to meet him." Elanda suggested. She showed pictures of them together to confirm her claim.

"Oi... We need to tell this to Shane. Why didn't you inform him already?" Kylie seemed bewildered.

"I can't he will never believe me, Don't you know?" Elanda laid her trap for Kylie and as she expected she took the bait, "Why did she meet that sc.u.m again! Shane will go crazy if he knew this."

"Don't tell him now! I don't want him to get hurt. He might have some feelings for Anna. She would have just met the stranger on friendly terms." Elanda added.

Even though Kylie bought her story, she didn't play along with Elanda's plot, "But Irik mentioned once that it is unsafe for her to go wander out. I have to inform Shane."

She took her phone to make a quick call to Shane, it kept ringing and he didn't pick the phone as he set the phone in silent mood while entering college.

"I am heading back, I have to find Shane." Kylie moved fast to find Shane.

Elanda tried to stop her, "Don't do that, they would come back. Shane might fall remorse and ..." Before she could end, Kylie ran out of sight. All her plan had backfired, Initially, she just wanted to pull Kylie to her side to help her in the future.

But now Kylie will lay everything out, she prayed hard that it should end well for her.
