An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

Jacob's forehead crumpled in disdain, "Did you just say Anna loves you? I dare you to say that again! Are you even worthy of her love? Where were you when she was criticized and condemned, Were you napping by that time?"

Shane's face fell when he heard Jacob. He sure was napping by that time, not just that, He was completely knocked out by the heavy shot. How could Shane admit it to Jacob out of all the people?

Still, the reason behind his heavy drinking was Anna, if Anna never stood up for Jacob on that day. Shane would not have pissed off in the first place.

Jacob was the one who personally filed the divorce papers for Anna, now Shane says he loves her, does it really matter anymore.

However, Shane who has no idea that Anna was already deceived by Lulu continued to persuade, "I was misled by Elanda that day, I was informed that Anna went to meet you in the night club.

I know, I should not have believed Elanda even if she showed the video of you and Anna together in the cafe. Anna's bodyguard reported to me earlier today that she met you in the cafe just to return the money she owed you.

Jacob recalled the words of Lulu of how Shane's mother misled Anna from the very beginning that Lulu was a wrong person.

'Do you think you can deceive me just like you deceived Anna for so long? Now Anna was woken up too, She will not fall for you anymore.'

Jacob threw the question lazily, "I am merely an insignificant common man. Instead of rocking me for help, why don't you run to the policemen for help?

Why? Are you afraid that you will be locked up? Didn't you just say that you are ready to take the consequences of hitting your woman?"

The more Jacob talked the more Shane's patience wore thin, "Fine! If you don't want to help Anna then so be it. I will keep looking for a way to rescue Anna out of that damned residence."

Shane disconnected the phone and tightened his grip on the phone until the tempered-glass cracked. Never in his lifetime, he apologized to a man remarkably it was his love rival.

Jacob stared at the space in rigid, and the words of Shane replayed in his head in a string, 'I admit that I might not have loved her before but I do love her now.'

Jacob slammed out the table lamp which stood elegantly in the table near the window panel, It shattered to pieces and the thick red piles of glass filled the open room.

Esther rushed out from the bath in her bathrobe, "What occurred now? Come on, Jacob! Grow up and learn to restrain your emotions. You freaking kid. Ahhhh... Gosh! Someone, please call the room service to clean the room before someone step on it."

Esther confronted Jacob, "What now?!"

"Shane called me." Irritation was quite evidently seen in his stressed face.

"What the heck?! How come he knew your business number on the first hand, and Why did he call you?"

Jacob's face crumbled as he said, "He didn't call me, he called the other me!"

"Do you make any sense? 'whoosh' You have not only lost your mind but also making me lose it too."

"I meant he didn't call my business phone, but he called my personal phone from Anna's cellphone, and he didn't know he was talking to the CEO of BMF Corporation who was crushing his Corporation. If he called my business phone, do you think I would have answered him?"

"Hmm... Interesting! He called his own love rival, what does he want?"

Jacob explained their whole conversation in a boring voice to his tricky sister, and his sister caught only the salty point, "Shane never loved her before, but he loves her now especially because of you.

Boy! You made him jealous. If you never interrupted they would have peaceful divorced."

Jacob was fluttered listening to Esther scrutinized information, "They would have peacefully divorced? What do you mean?"

"Boy?! Don't you see he never loved her... NEVER!!! Which means they had some deal between them. You jumped out of nowhere and shattered the deal. IMPATIENT IDIOT!"

Jacob gaped, 'Why does that sound weirdly reasonable?'

When he was gaping in space, his personal phone rang once again. Jacob was out of this world realm to realize it. Esther waved her hands in front of his face but there was no acknowledgment, Instead of wasting her efforts on her brother, Esther picked up his phone call.

Esther Screeched when she heard the panic-stricken voice in the other end, "Anna!"
